Great video and the solution worked like a charm. I had to watch a few other videos to get some pointers on removing the door panel and switch pack from the panel. To clean the contacts, I used an old model railroading tip by using a new and clean pencil eraser to lightly scub the contacts on the circuit board and on the silicon pad then used isopropal alcohol for the final clean prior to re-assembly. The window switches haven't worked correctly for almost two years but now they work like new again. Thank you much "Wizard Fixes"!
I will have to try the pencil eraser trick on my truck because guess what I need to clean my switches on my 2012 Silverado I'm glad it helped you and thank you for watching the video
It could have some affect but I'm not sure to what extent if your switch isn't to much trouble to get out I'd clean it and see if it works like it should
I agree with the Wizard. Could be several things at play but my driver side switch would not operate the passenger side at all. And the rear driver side only for down but not up. Once cleaned, it worked like a charm. Not the same scenario but I am guessing you just need to clean both driver side and passenger side switches.
Thanks for the replies my girlfriend got frustrated one day while I was at work went to the dealer they got her for 800 almost they replaced passenger side switch
that kinda sounds like a problem in the wiring but cleaning the switch wouldn't hurt as it is real easy to do and see what happens if that don't fix it then it might need to go to a shop or if you know about wiring you could figure it out but definitly try cleaning the switch first
Dale, are they truly that cheap? What is the website so I can possibly order it next time instead of fixing it. The only thing I found cost $250 and that was for the whole four window switch assembly. $400 to replace the whole switch panel including trim piece.

I gotta try this tomorrow and I hope it works.
انت بطل ورجل جيد
Thats great !
So if master was dirty will it effect passenger switch? Because passenger will go down not up and driver master won't do anything.

@@jimmakosky2184 Ignore Dale. He is an unhappy man who only feels validated when he S**t's on others work.
If you think 10 minutes is a lot of work I’d like to see how much your job pays you must be like $78/hr 💀💀
