Do you guys still like this knife as you did before? I finally got my hands on one
Do you want your knife back?
I wrote a little poem about this knife:
See the knife,
fall in love,
see the price,
tears in my eyes. :)
+juju hu hahahahahahahahahahahahahah! This is made us laugh so hard!!!
hey great vid keep up the good work
juju hu that's my life
For just a little over $200 USD that isn't all that bad a price for a great quality knife. I have knives that I gladly payed over $700 USD for and the Bark River Gunny Scandi - CPM 3V would likely out preform it.
@@ajrider12 be a pal and buy me one!
What a beautiful love story at christmas between a man and his knife :)

Great channel. Knife reviewers / bushcraft channels are a dime a dozen. Somehow you guys have managed to elevate your game to another level - great music, good editing, and plenty of humor. A well-earned additional subscriber!
Thanks man! It really means alot a comment like yours!

The editing on this video was actually amazing! So impressed for a knife review channel haha. Like at 3:54 timing it with the music was perfect

Hello DBK, I just wanted to say that I to am a collector and lover of knives. I have a personal collection of about 100 to 125 knives from custom hand made to just about every factory made you can name, I own 7 Bark River knives and fixing to purchase #8, I just came across this video and just helped make up my mind on which bark river to buy, I am going to go with the gunny scandi in 3V, from the reports I've got and now this video I don't think I can go wrong with this knife, thankyou for the help and your awesome videos, I look forward to each Thursday for the next upload, keep them coming, it's the best knife channel around, later guys
Great video....it's always great fun to see a notification from DBK in the inbox
This is most definitely one of my favorite knife videos ever if not my favorite. You guys are by far the best channel for knife reviews since you mix the more serious stuff with more fun things as well and make it very entertaining.
Thanks a lot! We really appreciate the kind words!
All the best to you!
I just got a bravo 1.5 in A2. Its my first barkie and im already super impressed. The only reason i didnt get 3v was because i wanted a softer steel to practice bark rivers convex before i jump to a high end steel.
A very very very good reason indeed !!
2:21 That's how you cook hot dogs.
Your production quality is staggering. (I've got a BR in A2, and now I'm sad.) I see you guys as the new superstars of UA-cam bushcraft videos...
Thanks! very nice to hear so, we do our best!
Well that certainly got weird fast.
3:55 the recording audio syncs up with the music so nicely
"It started a few years ago...when i wore the same shirt and trousers".
Also, i see Fred Perry is bushcraft appropriate?
this made me want to get this knife and go on a minimal camping trip. Seemed fun.
My favourite bushcraft video ever!
+silver birch outdoors thanks man!!
No, thank you. I couldn't keep a straight face
I really love how this went from a genuine review of a knife to 2 blokes messing about in a forest.
thanks Kieron!
Thank you for making the videos.
Why do you always light everything on fire? Is that what you do in the Netherlands xD
+Jonathan Isobe fire just feels manly hahaha
great review... however, how do you make the sparks for the fire? it might be helpful to know for camping just in case I lost my matches..
Flint and steel. Flint is sold in sticks or something and you can strike the back of your knife against it to make sparks. I think.
Jonathan Isobe Yes
Jonathan Isobe yes.
I haven't laughed this hard in months! Now I want to go craft a baton... thanks guys!
haha thanks a lot mate!
*starts fire in the middle of a forest*

your channel is perfect man keep up !
thanks a lot mate! we really appreciate the kind words and the long term subscription!
thanks to you for sharing your love for knife :)
You are the best knife channel I have seen. What is the price of the knife and where can I get it?
the price is around $220-$300 depending on the handle geometry if you buy it in the USA. In europe it will be somehwere around €300,- . However, it hasn't had a second production run so far. We'll have to wait for bark river to do another production run.
Thanks a lot mate! merry Christmas!
Dutch Bushcraft Knives Thank you. Merry Christmas.
It’s amazing to see you 2’s progress into the future ,,
you guys deserve more than 26,000 subscribers your videos are fun to watch, i like the concept of making a boton hammer but not as a survival situation too much time and calories wasted but under control circumstance awesome tool to make for better leverage
Yea ofcourse, although if making one is not to hard, it could be worth it in the right circumstance
Without a doubt theBest knife channel on utube...!!!!Love your channel guys..... Keep up the fantastic work 👍
Red,white and blue...Hungarian easter egg found!
Martin Móra but it is dutch
I've watched this vid three times over the past year. I'll buy this as soon as I have an excuse to drop such bread on some quality steel. Thanks, ya'll crazy Dutchmen!
+Backstabbio thanks a lot!
These knives are expensive as hell dude. Stuff that
yup they sure are expensive. In my opinion still worth it though! It all depends on how much you like and how much you use knives.
Zander Willis
my thoughts exactly...that's just a waist of money...Get A Buck...
I personally don't like the 420HC steel buck uses. The steel is a very slow budget soft stainless steel. Buck makes very high quality blades for sure but their steel just lags behind/
The new bucks are not as good as the older ones...I agree..
The steel is a very slow budget soft stainless steel. Buck makes very high quality blades for sure but their steel just lags behind/
Reply ...How is anyone to figure out this statement you made...You are double talking as to your opinion about the knife... When in fact you are saying two opposites about the knife... How could one say that Buck makes "Very high quality blades...but their steel just lags behing"...The blades which you say is "very high quality"... is the same as the steel used to make the same blade. And you know that the steel "lags behind". Sorry but your attempt at assuring someone that Buck knives are good or bad...Lacks any persuasive assurance in Buck knives and even less assurance in your knowledge ...
Since this Video (and some more from DBK about the Gunny Scandi) this knife was on my bucket list. After a long time I could make my preorder for a Gunny Scandi 3V and I gladly await the production and delivery of this beauty
The best way to cook hot dogs
those slow mo shots were magical
Thanks a lot!

Haha love the little intro. It reminded me of voice acting in a video game with a character telling a story about a quest you need to go on. :P
You've recommended this knife to me, I look for it's price point... and I've got to say, I was surprised... Only a little over $200. I was thinking up ward of $800+ for such a nice knife.

I contacted Bark River, and they said the Gunny Scandi 3v is on their production schedule for 2019 so I'll probably be picking me up one in Blaze Orange G-10. Just wanted to let you guys know if you didn't know already.
You guys have such great videography and editing.
Hard to tell which is sharper, the mallet or the knife. They both do an admirable job of taking things apart.
I like you guys videos keep them coming. I bought the knife Wako uses for his Firebox the Ambush Tundra in CPM 3V I love it!

you guys will easily become a 500k+ channel if you keep up this standard of vids
I hope so! haha
Really loving the more edited videos!
As a Mechanical Engineer with a background in Metallurgy I have come to the conclusion that the best bushcraft knife for me would be the Spyderco Bushcraft with a CPM 3V blade - preferably convex grind.
Awesome video, guys! Of course, they always are.
Have you considered selling T-shirts or caps or something? I think logo' merchandise would earn you some extra income.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
OMG, so many knife reviews on UA-cam and I see jullie twee mafkezen! LOL!
Echt toppie hoor, eindelijk Nederlandse gasten die een mes kunnen waarderen en nog lol hebben ook!
