@ShopLifeTV and we appreciate you mate....you've saved me thousands of dollars in labour and diagnostics so if you think about it across all you're videos you'd of saved young guys across the globe an un godly amount of money you should be so proud of what you've done honestly
Nice mods guys. I had a front strut bar on the e36, and it was definitely an improvement. But mine was a vert...Thanks for sharing, Dutch regards Nico.
Great video. Been watching alot of your e46 videos as that's what I have as well. Very helpful. Any tricks to remove the rear brake lines? Thanks keep up the great videos
@ShopLifeTV I've watched it numerous times and still having an issue. I think it's just a build up of rust living in Canada. Your videos are great and very helpful
Not sure how I feel about using threaded inserts for stuff that’s going to get a lot of force through it. Surely they would become loose after a while. How are they holding up?
Working on big projects the past few months which we are still filming for. Shocks and struts are usually at the end of the life span around 60k miles depending on driving conditions and any mods. Bilstein is always a good brand when staying with stock suspension
Bro i need help , the front end of a e46 facelift station wagon is same as the sedan one ? And the front right rail of the frame is the same of all e46 versions?
Hey Jason! And UA-cam!, my e46 330 keep pulling its self into grooves in the roads, even some potholes will pull really hard on my steering wheel and the wheel is also offset to the right a bit, cant really figure out what could cause this, anyone have any experience with this maybe the e46 Lord himself? Love to hear what u guys think❤
@ShopLifeTV Are BMW's more reliable as in longevity than a Toyota or Lexas? What is your opinion? Maybe you already have done a video on this but if not, Consumer Reports lists Toyota, Lexus, and BMW as the top most reliable cars today. I can't believe that BMW is one of the top? What is your opinion since you know them inside out? BTW, I'm an Uber driver and since hearing this, I am pondering the idea of buying a BMW hybrid which I will expect to get atleast 300k miles.
Don’t play yourself lol. For anyone reading this in the future onward . If your brand new strut brace doesn’t fit on your old bmw it means one thing, your cars been in a wreck before and chances are an alignment report will prove that claim as well. If the front caster is not just about equal from left to right that is a clear indication of something wrong, same applies to camber, especially if the car is using stock upper shock mounts they should be identical to one another. Now the mushrooming problem I’ve never experienced one that bad out here in California but I’m aware that some early model car did have such problems hence why the later m3 modes came with the reinforcement plate discs between the body and tops hats. But again this is most likely due to the previous owners neglecting the fact that the car needed stunts and shocks desperately and by being cheapos they have now passed the burned on you sorry suckers, trust me it hurts I’ve been down this road once or twice myself lol 😢 as long as your cool with it not being the perfect chassis just have fun with it! I’ve corrected tweaked chassis that wouldn’t track down the road straight or you couldn’t let your hands off the wheel for a moment becuase it would pull so hard in one direction by simplying just countering the misaligned frame by installing adjustable camber/caster plates and bam youaintevenknowit 😉
My 95 has been on a coil overs and a mason strut bar since the day I’ve owned it and I’ll eventually install the factory reinforcement plates when I have extra money to burn but they seem to be fine. But if I didn’t have the strut bar I can see them creasing upwards in the rear of the towers just ever so slightly but this would not be visible at all for the untrained eye. And I have a rust free car so don’t cry over spilled milk just roll with it!
Dude wtf this guy and 50s kid taught me everything I know about 3 series BMW's what feels like 10 years ago and he's still grinding...dope af
Hahaha we have been making videos for over 8 years now and will continue to do so for as long as possible! Thanks for always supporting!
Same man their videos are like a library of bmw maintenance

Hey man, I was watching your e46 epoxy video and I was hoping to get an update on how it held up?

Where have you been?? What is your suggestion when you should replace shocks on BMW'S. And what types for the car?

Thank you kindly. Looking forward to more of your videos. Go Bimers 🤓
Do you have a shop? I need my rear main seal changed and the only place that will do it is the dealer and they charge over 4000…

You said a 1995 car is older than you. I hate you so much right now (j/k)
