One point about these 74mm models is that although the blade looks small, it's more like an 84mm or even 91mm blade in terms of thickness and quite a bit more capable than the one on 58mm models. I have a Moneyclip and last year also bought an Ambassador with woodland camo scales, these scales are extremely rare on 74mm models. I think it's from the 90s as it has the crossbow tang stamp. I tend to carry those when I'm carrying a folder instead of a standard SAK like the Climber or Farmer X, so I have scissors and a small blade too.
74mm is much better than 58mm. Big mistake to discontinue this product, although I understand they weren't selling. However, Victorinox charged too much for the 74mm, that's why it didn't sell as much. Most times ppl would just get a 91mm for the price of a 74mm and feel like they got more bang for their buck.
@@RiderOftheNorth1968 Yes he used the Tinker Small but only in seson 1 after that he used the Tinker because it was esier to get because they damaged or lost quite a lot of knives during the shooting of the films, and it was just easyer to give him a new knife than repair them, I don't know the exact number but it was a lot.
It is sad that all 74mm models are discontinued. I find the 58mm too small. Thank you for showing photos of some of the variants.
You’re most welcome and keep on sharing your thoughts!

An Ambassador with camo scales? That's amazing! Thanks for the comment and please continue sharing.

I wholeheartedly support this statement
I wish all alox knives came with the money clip that could be used as a pocket clip.
That's a cool thought...
I believe that MacGyver only used the Executive in 3 episodes, the most common model he used was the Tinker.
Thanks for the in-depth feedback. I’ve just mentioned the Tinker with regards to MacGyver in the 91mm video.
I believe it was the 84mm Tinker Small that he used.
