    I think it would be really cool if you did a video on some of the Korean and Japanese hair care lines like Ryo. I’ve been interested in their shampoos specifically because they’re supposed to help with hair loss. Interested to hear your opinions on them.

    Hi Abbey, I know Oribe is considered a luxury brand and is more expensive. Would you consider, though, doing a review of their shampoo, conditioners, masks, etc.? I know you have randomly reviewed a few Sephora VIPs, but a video solely on Oribe would be sooo nice. Especially with the Sephora sale and holidays coming up to know which products to splurge on. Thank you for considering this.🙂

    I took the Not Your Mother's scalp sunscreen on a vacation last month, and I did really like it. My scalp did not get burned, and it even gave my roots a little bit of grit which added volume without making them feel greasy. I still prefer Coola's scalp sunscreen, but this Not Your Mother's one is a decent affordable alternative if you really don't want to wear a hat in the sun.

    Would you consider doing a review of Brad Mondo's or Guy Tang's haircare lines?
    Also, some Asian hair care is meant for dark hair (will stain blond hair) just so you know. Have had several friends find this out the hard way.
    I have long dark wavy hair, my husband has long blond stick straight hair (not color treated) and it is amazing how differently our hair reacts. Often times the products you recommend don't work for me but are like magic for him. His hair gets snarls and tangles where mine rarely does. Thank goodness I can pass the products on that do not work for me and he will use them.
    I also wish many drug store lines would tone down the scents. My migraine brain cannot handle the scents even though they work well and men don't always want that parfume smell.
    I also want to say I love how organized your videos are. The links, time stamps, etc. It really makes it easy to find the information.

    I have used the Hair Therapy mask from Eva NYC...I was very surprised and how nice my hair felt after I used it. I got it years ago in an IPSY bag...I've frequently bought it ever since. I completely understand the feeling of not wanting to reach for it all the time but it truly is a guilt free purchase that I enjoy the effects after I use it. For reference: my hair is long, medium density, heavily highlighted but overall relatively healthy.

    Hair not holding a curl can be due to broken bonds within the hair shaft or product build up. I recommend using an amla powder hair mask from Hennasooq. I henna my hair and henna can loosen curl patterns, so amla powder is added to henna to improve and maintain curl patterns.

    Agree about the nozzle of the leave-in spray! I love the smell, its a great heat protectant and does help my curls be more defined, but the nozzle is so wonky! How long do you test products? Do you do a one time use or several tries? Have you ever heard of issues with protien build up in hair causing brittle dry ends, and breakage? Just from products like shampoo and leave in smoothing creams, no chemical products. This happened to me after a salon bleach on my fine hair that I didn't really want to do because of my fine hair. Afterwards while trying to fix the damage even my go to shampoos aren't helping. Coconut oil seems to be an enemy to my hair causing more frizz and split ends, I love the smell and the fact it's natural but my hair just doesn't. I also read it can act as a protien on the hair or attract protien to hair. Recommend were protien free products and alternating clarifying with moisture masks until excess protien build up is removed. Struggling with that process and finding protien free products. I would like to go more natural and environmentally safe but my hair responds horribly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Loved this informative video. Thankyou!

      honestly? Aid washing your hair everyday works, I’d stick with it! Dry shampoo is like hair spray, our hair touches our face a lot, and product can travel as well. I’d personally rather just wash my hair daily as opposed to using dry shampoo because I have had the same issue. you don’t wanna skip too many washes either, as malassezia can build up on the scalp. basically-if your hair tolerates it, just shampoo daily, and implement some techniques to protect your hair while you do < 3

    Hi Abbey ❤, I love watching these types of videos from you 😘. I've been having major issues with my hair re: fall-out. I have been using Pantene shampoo and conditioner for a few months, it doesn't seem to make a difference, even brushing my hair in the morning I'm prone to having strands coming out 😢. Would you be able to suggest any products to stop this from happening? Thank you in advance 😋.

    • @JaymeeKay
      @JaymeeKay Рік тому +1

      I have found huge changes by using a leave-in spray conditioner after towel drying. Pantene has one that I have used. I'm now using pureology, but it's expensive. I don't care because my hair was falling out at a scary rate. 😮
      I switched from Pantene to: 1st wash: RedKin cleansing cream shampoo. USING SMALL AMOUNT, focusing only on scalp.
      2nd wash - Redkin volume injection shampoo followed by matching conditioner. I don't condition scalp because it makes me oily.
      Then the leave in spray conditioner. This routine has helped my breakage and hair looking dry and its growing again.
      I also splurged on Olaplex 3 1x a week for 10 mins. I also tried the olaplex spray leave in conditioner, and wow, it was fantastic, but it's hard to spend so much on all these products. That being said, hair is damn important, so buy a good leave in conditioner it really helped me.

    For some reason drugstore hair products do NOT work for me. I can get away with drugstore makeup but not hair products. I have fine damaged hair and maybe that’s the reason. They leave my hair frizzy, heavy and very oily on the second day
    I love my Amika, Living Proof etc products - they’ve been a game changer for me and I have to thank you for getting me into trying the high end stuff- worth every penny

    Great video! I love watching your hair care videos I get so excited! I saw you posted a tik tok about the Kirkland shampoo and conditioner. Id really like to see a more in depth review here on UA-cam and compare it to the pureology hydrate or nanoworks line because it’s nothing like strength cure or promise to be. But it does smell identical to the pureology nanoworks gold so that’s interesting. You reviewed the old formula a couple years ago on here so that would be cool if you did a updated review with the new formula!

    • @baileydubs

    • @brittanyfletcher434
      @brittanyfletcher434 Рік тому +6

      If I’ve understood correctly, she’s said in past videos that sulfates are great if you have an oily scalp. They can be a bit harsh on hair lengths, but if you wash your hair properly, they’re not a bad ingredient, and an irritated/dirty scalp is far worse for your overall hair health than the use of sulfates. Some form of sulfates are necessary for cleansing the scalp, so co-cleansers don’t really “clean” your hair. Abbey always says that a lot of “demonized” ingredients in hair products shouldn’t be, most hair damage is caused by friction/styling/heat/bleach/processing/water itself.
