Best informative and example based metal detecting videos on the interwebs. Thx for the time you put in to the hobby and the time you put into spreading your knowledge ;).
Constantly finding iron at my grandpa's house. Found a whole horse shoe which is awesome. Found pennies, an old pocket watch with no face. Found half of a rotor from an old car. That was a crazy find. It was about a ft. Down.
Thanks to your videos i got to know my machine even better! Keep it up with the simplex a little great machine. I started with a Fisher and after getting the simplex i not even want to use anything else
My best find with the simplex was a small platinum diamond ring 💎 💍.. rang up a jumpy 20 30 in the ground, solid 20 out of the ground..have found many good things, my girl found a silver Quarter 9 “ down In heavy EMI 😮 1 notch down from full sensitivity 90 ground Balance. Would hit even deeper on 85 GB ..she found a crazy old silver ring in heavy iron, and a 1828 caped bust half dollar in her first year metal detecting 😮..
Greetings from Johannesburg, South Africa. Love your videos. Just started out in the hobby and still getting the hang of my simplex. I am amazed at the amount of trash in the ground here in our parks. I have been avoiding signals below 85 and been finding a good amount of R1 and R2 coins. They ring up exactly the same as the twist top bottle caps. But after seeing how many good targets are mid tones in this video I'm going to dig it all through the trash and hope for some goodies. Keep up the great work!
@@PaystreakSuperfreak Many thanks! I will definitely apply this method going forward. I had the stock coil on for about 4 weeks before my SP24 arrived and I have not taken it off since. It is absolutely awesome on seperating targets. Thanks again and happy hunting!
Lol I found the same silver pendant but it was with the at pro. Had the simplex for a year but haven't had a chance to seriously learn the machine yet. I'm Considering buying the legend but I need time on the simplex because I'm afraid I won't pick the simplex back up after I do 😖. Great observations sir Thanks again!
Does gold make the simplex do an iron grunt along with the mid tone? You know how sometimes with the simplex you’ll swing over something and it will be a high-mid tone but also have some iron grunts in the background. Because if gold doesn’t have any iron tones that will be a good tell. I just feel like most places I hunt have 5 different targets per square foot and I can’t dig every single target but maybe I have to if I want gold!
Very nice demonstration and topic about the importance of the tones, I watched the first video of yours yesterday morning, and got pumped up to get detecting after watching it, got a school permission and broke a previous record which was fourty nine clad quarters in one hunt, I smashed the old record with a new record of one hundred and twenty one clad quarters or one and one half pound of quarters in one hunt, once I clean out the quarters, next will be the other higher tones and after that going to the mid tones for any jewelry.
@@PaystreakSuperfreak I went back there today and broke another record which I thought I would never do but today one hundred and seventy quarters, unreal this place AND if that had been you hunting this location for quarters you would have easily pulled out over two hundred because your recovery speed is super fast, did manage one silver ring, I am going tomorrow to finish up the quarters then move on to the lower signals.
Sadly, it appears that for anything other than "silver" signals. one is left having to dig practically every target. I was hoping the ranges would be narrower. Might as well stick with my Garrett AT Pro.
Sir, a football sized metal buried in the ground, 80 cm deep, can this product be detected? I've been focusing on this product. I asked other friends about the difficulty.
I may be able to answer that question my friend..just got my simplex.. and must say it’s deep.. not use to that with my other machines.. I’m digging iron square nails at easy 12 inches hit iron tractor parts at 15 inches... football size.. I see no problem at 30 inches.. hope it helps.. BillyJ south of Pittsburgh.. be well.. hunt on..
Every machine has struggles in some spots. The Deus thrives in every problem spot I have ever hunted. The Deus is not waterproof and does not hit super deep coins like the Simplex can.
I had the sensitivity at 2 bars for that video because I was inside. They sound nice with the machine running hot. The numbers are really jumpy on the Simplex, but the tone stays the same.
Dig everything

Glad I could help! The Simplex is pretty much all I swing these days too. I have many high end detectors but the Simplex is doing it for me
Great info and awesome video. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.
Glad you enjoyed it!

If you are finding lots of coins....there should be some jewelry nearby. Jewelry is near the surface. SP24 is great on jewelry.

Thank you for taking your time and showing us that we really never know what it is.
My pleasure!
So the lesson is, pretty much dig everything! Thank you very much for this video!
I get surprised a lot by junky targets not being junk. Most of my best finds ever have been iffy targets
Very useful demonstration, thanks. If you don't dig it, you're never going to know.
Very true!
Wow! I just bought one and can't wait to use it. I'm impressed with this video. I now know to dig everything. Thanks so much!
Have fun!
I'm enjoying your videos, they're very informative, but best of all is, you sound like Ted Nugent! Both tones I'm diggin'!

Nice video comparing audio tones and how close they are together. That's why until I learn my Simplex better I dig everything.
Great video, just starting out with my simplex
You got this!

Whoah! That is a lot of quarters. If there is that many quarters think how much jewelry will be there. Congrats on that epic site man.

Thank you for a very comprehensive comparison video
Glad it was helpful!

Nice video, did you find all that items with the Simplex? I just ordered mine yesterday, very anxious.
3 of the gold rings i did not find with the simplex. most of the other stuff ...yes
Thanks a lot for that info I right the numbers down and take with me when I detect
Glad to help
thank you!
You're welcome!
If it beeps I dig it .
Thanks Professor.
You bet!
So moral of all the stories to me is that you don’t need a $1k machine………..$250 will do the trick?
Every machine has struggles in some spots. The Deus thrives in every problem spot I have ever hunted. The Deus is not waterproof and does not hit super deep coins like the Simplex can.
So what i understand if you discriminate you are missing also te good stuf so don't discriminate ?
I do not discriminate because discrimination makes good targets sound horrible and you want to hear the iron in the ground.
Big help 👍
Good Info Buddy !
Thanks 👍
very good vid buddy
Thanks 👍
Love the machine, but the numbers can be very inconsistent. And those smaller rings barely even registering.....ouch!
I had the sensitivity at 2 bars for that video because I was inside. They sound nice with the machine running hot. The numbers are really jumpy on the Simplex, but the tone stays the same.
thin gold is even hard for an Xp deus. THey don't even register gold or silver thin bracelets. THen you need a more expensive machine like Excalibur
Prostě kopat všechno
Yes!!! DIG EVERYTHING.... EVEN IRON
