Every time I go home, as soon as I get into Winston Salem I hit Bojangles. (The one on University Parkway just off US52) Not for the chicken biscuit but for the country ham biscuit and a large tea. I usually get a half gallon of tea, a couple of chicken biscuits, and a couple ham biscuits on the return trip back. I get hungry on those 12 hour road trips.
One of the things I've had a hankering for a long time for is the Country Ham biscuit from Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen in Chapel Hill. That place is THE motivator for getting up early.
I do agree with you on the Whataburger chicken biscuit. I about growed up on Whataburger and they just do it right on so many levels. Texas got it locked down, bc we love chicken and we damn sure as love biscuits!
I've got this local biscuit place called The Biscuit Company, and their chicken biscuits are easily the best, because they give you a whole chicken breast on that biscuit, and the biscuit itself is about as big around as a catalope.
I agree with you, Matt. Chikfila biscuits are drier than the desert Jesus walked in. Worst thing on their menu. When someone brings me a chickfila chicken biscuit, I just eat the chicken.
Here what you do... If you can separate the biscuits from the chicken just a bit, slide some butter in there, wrap them back up and nuke them for 10 seconds... moistened them right up. I know a guy that injects melted honey butter into the biscuits, then nukes them for a few seconds as well.
Well, matt. All I can say is, you're always entertaining. But not always right. ,😂. As for me, my wendy's chicken biscuits have always slotted right behind chicfila though the wait is horrible. I've tried whataburger CB like 3 times and each time I'm so disappointed. The biscuit is too dried. Almost tastes fried. Who fries a biscuit! 🤔. And the chicken is tough. I would rank these like this, based on my experience. 1. Bojangles 2. Chicfila, 3. Wendy's, 4. Hardee's, 5. Whataburger, 6. Mcdonald's and I've left jacks off because I ain't never had em. ✌🏼

There is not a Jack’s around me in Mississippi. The logo is very similar to Jack in the Box. Both have the word Jack or Jack’s written in white on a red background. That’s pretty confusing so I think Matt should’ve mentioned that. I really thought he was just referring to Jack in the Box and had no idea it was an unrelated restaurant
Matt needs a tinted outside window that hangs halfway down from the top of his driver side window frame. When the main window rolls down out of the way, the outer half-window could still hide his face from the drive-through spy cameras. I think that's kinda how the Lamborghini Countach's windows worked.
Y'all need to come to NC and try Biscuitville! Lucky for me, they are next to Krispy Kreme so I can get quite a good combo. Also - what about the coffee? (Make it at home maybe?)
I find that he usually places mcdonalds where wendy's belongs and vice versa I make it a note to tell people I don't refer to mcdonalds as mcdonalds in casual conversation. in a casual conversation with someone I know I call mcdonalds ghetto wendy's because that's what they are. The one and only thing mcdonalds does well is their coke

Great video and great observations of each biscuit.
Here, I enjoy the heck out of Chick-Fil-A biscuits.
Wendy's honey butter chicken biscuit is normally my second favorite.
I can agree with Hardee's in 3rd place.
I can also agree with Jack's in 4th place.
The cajun chicken biscuit is the only biscuit I HAVEN'T tried yet at Bojangles. (those Hash Browns are ADDICTING though)
Unfortunately, they have not put in a Whataburger where I live (GA) yet and were dying to get one.
And McDonald's always disappoints (to the surprise of no one).
The Minis at Chick-fil-A is where its at not the biscuit
Oooh, when we moved to Texas in 2017 they had a chicken biscuit on a cheddar jalapeño biscuit with strawberry jam-it was mind blowingly delicious! I miss it...a lot...
I don't know if Martin's is everywhere, but they should be. Their chicken biscuit is AMAZING!
Martin's is primarily located in the rural area of West Atlanta
@@davidjarrell4615 i love Martin's been there a couple times but haven't had the chance to go back yet since I've moved

I love it, when Mat rambles.
I swear Chick-fil-A has the best chicken biscuits in the world to me!!! I would eat them every single day for breakfast if I could.
Dry. Very dry.
I like them, but they are dry
@@tthompson4768 The one I go to near my house aren’t dry at all.
The 1 where I live at there biscuits isn't dry either that's the only reason I go there for is to get that chicken biscuits in the morning I love them
@@charlottethomas4748 Right!! I literally have hated chicken biscuits from anywhere my entire life except from Chick-fil-A!! Speaking of which I need to get some for breakfast tomorrow! Thanks for commenting and reminding me! 😂😂😂
God bless you It’s a Southern Thing! I get so excited when I see Matt.
As a lineman and avid chicken biscuit indulgent I would just like to say I only have McDonald’s as an option and I am upset
Not even a Hardees near you? That sucks!
@@jgilmer best I can do is Taco Bell man
Every time I visited my brother in Pensacola I got a honey butter biscuit from whataburger. That thing should make Texans proud
I almost never get chicken for breakfast but I honestly can’t believe Chic-Fil-A didn’t dominate this one.
Same but a lot of people don’t like their biscuits
Just get the Chic-Fil-A chicken without the biscuit.
Chic fil a isn’t really worth the hype
They're homophobic garbage
CFA has the best fried chicken filets for fast food, I'll give them that. But their biscuits are horrendous and I don't understand how they still use them. The best fast food biscuit is Hardees and Bojangles.
Maybe it's just the region of Texas that I live in, but I have NEVER spent less than 10 minutes total in a Whataburger drive thru. No matter if we're home or on vacation or in the deep East. That Whataburger Matt went to is a miracle to me.
I find it funny how people think this channel would have any subs without Mat cuz he is the only reason why I watch the vids
I worked for Hardee's. I've been prep cook, line cook, cashier, and biscuit maker... years of working there and I never... once... got tired of the biscuits
Actually, I am super impressed with Wendy’s new sausage, egg, and Swiss on a croissant. I think it even has hollandaise sauce on it. And their potato wedges? The seasoning is outstanding. Those should be served all day, honestly.
Agree. Honey biscuits are bomb af.
Agreed. Wendy's has the best breakfast for fast food in my book.
I like the potato wedges with a side of Swiss cheese dip.
@@ashleyaltman6502 I SO agree!!!
@@MrsAlmaTrumble I'm sucker for the Frostingo they have and those you can get all days. cold brew coffee with vanilla or chocolate frosty mix shaken poured over ice... forget starbucks!
There’s a diner in the north called Perkins. They do chicken biscuits and gravy. I was shocked at how good it was.
Perkins in Edinboro PA? One of my grandmothers lives there!
@@louisagreer1700 There may be others, but for me it was LaCrosse Wisconsin.
@@brandonwalmsley1863 Ah, alright
Perkins is all over Florida.
Bojangles won, whataburger cheated. Honeybutter is an extra ingredient that masks the poorer quality.
yeah!!!!
And bojangles was the Cajun filet so they both had extra. Whataburger wins.
Whataburger does not exist (yet) in my part of Alabama, and Bojangles' has a location right down the road from me (less than 5 minutes drive), so yeah, they win. But I am intrigued that Matt thought Whatty was better with half the meat. Will be comparing as soon as Whata shows up here in Huntsvegasland.
@@W.A.R.R. not really, whataburger does just slap a plain peace of chicken on the biscuits. They season it also, just because you can taste Bojangles seasoning better does make it an extra ingredient.
nope sorry
Hardee’s around here (SC) has the best biscuits!
Gotta love Matt and thank his momma for raising him the way she did. Bless her heart 💗
Always love these episodes! From Alabama and a huge Jack's fan from my childhood. Who remembers the tune, "Jack's hamburgers for 15 cents, they're so good, good, good! I had birthday parties there and great endings to school field trips. Yeah, I'm old, but if I won a billion dollar lottery, I would buy Jack's and build an empire!
Where my North Carolinians at?? We run the biscuit game in the south. It’s BO TIME!!!!💪🏽
Every time I go home, as soon as I get into Winston Salem I hit Bojangles. (The one on University Parkway just off US52) Not for the chicken biscuit but for the country ham biscuit and a large tea. I usually get a half gallon of tea, a couple of chicken biscuits, and a couple ham biscuits on the return trip back. I get hungry on those 12 hour road trips.
When he moved that Bojangles biscuit, I lost faith in humanity...
This Virginian concurs. Nothing better than a Bojangles Southern Biscuit.
Damn right
One of the things I've had a hankering for a long time for is the Country Ham biscuit from Sunrise Biscuit Kitchen in Chapel Hill.
That place is THE motivator for getting up early.
I do agree with you on the Whataburger chicken biscuit. I about growed up on Whataburger and they just do it right on so many levels. Texas got it locked down, bc we love chicken and we damn sure as love biscuits!
That Whataburger honey butter chicken biscuit is straight 🔥.
I wanna try it now! Hope we get the one that's been rumored for over a year now, over in Madison, AL.
Never seen or heard of this before today but this hilarious and now I want chicken biscuits 😅
What is hilarious? You haven't heard of chicken biscuits. Where do people like you live? Is it even possible?
@@willp.8120 the video was funny, I've heard of and have had chicken biscuits before
@@slothking2589 oh, okay.
Can’t believe Bojangles was only 51 seconds wait time. That’s unheard of around here. They take forever at every location here.
Amen!
They are descent in Atlanta...
Now THAT is a classy add placement!
I've got this local biscuit place called The Biscuit Company, and their chicken biscuits are easily the best, because they give you a whole chicken breast on that biscuit, and the biscuit itself is about as big around as a catalope.
Where is that?
@@williamharris3788 Asheboro, North Carolina.
I heard about this place
What's a catalope?
@@xxdrewxx6 A distant relative of the Jackalope...
Chick-fil-A's biscuits have always been terrible but their breakfast burritos are amazing! Maybe Bless Your Rank should do breakfast burritos next!
LOL - Chick-Fil-A and McDonald’s are my two favorites! And now I want a chicken biscuit. 😂
"Maybe not this weird black speck here" LMAO
I began my foray into chicken biscuits with the Speedway chicken and cheese biscuit, and currently entrust Chik-Fila's spicy chicken biscuit with my 1st place ribbon.
Same
Neither did I.
I thought they were the same, too! 🤯
You gotta get back back back to Jack's Jack's Jack's for more more more.
I can confirm that the best chicken biscuit is to take a hardee's jelly biscuit(plane biscuit) and CFA chicken and combine them!
Sorry but putting a chicken tender on a biscuit is not good enough to beat BoJo's. I agree it should be thicker but its still the best.
Chick-fil-A has the best chicken biscuits but Matt’s location just sucks 😂
Matt needs a tinted outside window that hangs halfway down from the top of his driver side window frame. When the main window rolls down out of the way, the outer half-window could still hide his face from the drive-through spy cameras.
I think that's kinda how the Lamborghini Countach's windows worked.
As soon as you mentioned Wendy's I was like yeah their wait time will most definitely be the worst lol
I want some Bojangles again so bad, and I need them to come to South Florida.
I want my Cheddar Bo back.
And for you to get your Bo's down in SoFlo.
Y'all need to come to NC and try Biscuitville! Lucky for me, they are next to Krispy Kreme so I can get quite a good combo. Also - what about the coffee? (Make it at home maybe?)
As a Texan, which Whataburger did you go to and got your food in 1:30? Never gotten my food that quick at any of the ones in Texas 😂
Right? In Rockwall, Texas, you’ll sit in that dadgum drive-thru line for 15 minutes if they’re moving quickly!
You put a chicken finger ahead of Bo Jangles? Um you need to trun in your southern card immediately! 😅
I feel like the Wendy's near you isn't doing their best because it should definitely be higher in the rank...in this rank as well as others.
Wendy's has best breakfast sandwiches by far. And the potato wedges can't be beat by anyone.
Wendys breakfast makes you feel bloated, as though you have swallowed pounds of butter and grease. The biscuits and gravy tastes great but will leave you sluggish and feeling as though it clogged your arteries.
@@willp.8120 lol..all fast food breakfast will do that from the salt and grease.
@@willp.8120 I don't think you understand how much butter and grease I usually eat, I feel fine...
Welcome back!!! You were sadly missed!!😂😊
1:31 wait time at Whataburger? So many times I left the drive thru without my food after 10 mins. On my way to work I don’t have that kind of time.
Was it busy though? How many cars ahead of you when you pulled up? Many variables here this video doesn't address
OMG….fast turnaround is a miracle at Hardee’s. 😂
