I live in the netherlands, we also have lots of eritrean refugees. My experience is that most eritreans know how to take responsibility for their own lives ( maybe bc they know the value of that freedom?). They work and study hard, to make a life for themselves. The eritrean ppl i have met are so very welcoming, always offering food, and very respectful towards other cultures and religions. I know what they are if you are talking to me, A pure Abjad has no vowels what so ever, an Abugida is a cross between a Syllabary and an Abjad with a touch of an Alphabet. Simply Abugidas you write the consonant and write the vowel as a mark on that consonant. Xidnaf does a great job explaining this in his writing systems video.
That’s right! I was just about to comment that. An abjad does only writes consonants and does not include any vowels: book --> bk (_kitab_ --> _ktb_). An abugida does include vowels but does not have separate letters for them, instead, every consonants letter is modified in a regular way to represent the vowel: ha --> ḧ and hi --> ĥ (not real examples).

a relative of mine (now long dead) was in the italo ethiopian war with the italian army and used to lead a company of Eritrean askaris colonial soldiers... he used to say they were very brave, loyal and thrusthworty, almost all of them could speak italian of some sort...

There are a lot of Eritreans in Denmark. They're all very friendly, but are still having a little trouble with the language, most of them learning danish and english simultaneously. I'm trying to learn more about their cultural background, to better understand them.
I have found appreciation for the people and now want to visit the country.

I live in the netherlands, we also have lots of eritrean refugees. My experience is that most eritreans know how to take responsibility for their own lives ( maybe bc they know the value of that freedom?). They work and study hard, to make a life for themselves.
The eritrean ppl i have met are so very welcoming, always offering food, and very respectful towards other cultures and religions.
And forget about italy, I know who makes the best coffee in the world!

Perhaps she maybe born out side of Eritrea but in country it such illegal action leave alone to take action but think as well.
