Love this quilt. I'm just patch learning new patched quilts of scrashes and having a blast. Even my husband has been paying attention on quilt I'm making for my big brother, brothers request. And keeps adding on to it. Lol.. my brother will never recieve it if he keeps requesting for more on this quilt. Lol ty for teaching. 😊❤

I just kept at it until the even stitches became easy for me.
Hi, Came across you here today, I am new to this. Dabbled in Embroidery in the past off and on. I just love the look of this and its been fun the little bit I have done so far.
Never been much into sewing. I would like to be. My Mom left me her machine and surger. Comfortable with the hand sewing beading and design.

The focus fabric made it easy to pick all the other ones. I have always loved roses.
Another awesome video! When your beads fell, .I jumped outta my skin. I thought you got stuck with the needle. Use your bead board I sent ya so you don’t have to chase the beads all over the place in that metal lid.
I know I should use the bead board. Maybe someday I can remember to grab it.
I love what you do! You really inspire me! I am making my mom a quilt and I am creating a block of it with a crazy block!

Appreciate “ situation normal” comments when you forget something or when art goes it’s own way. Echoing your voice is soothing! Remind me are the crazy patchwork machine stitched?
Yes everything is machine stitched except the embrodery on the seams and the lace appliques. My friend and I are trying to make a podcast called "Situation Normal: Fun Frugality" By TRY I mean we have good intentions but things keep happening to prevent us from moving forward.
@@danceswithpitbulls ?: so I collected and started purple. But handstitched. Is it ok to do both hand and machine and joined the block machine stitched? Maybe I should start machine as I only have 5 purple blocks hand stitched done.
Do pod cast, can use a good laugh.
Yes you can mix hand pieced and machine pieçed blocks. Once they are embellished and sewn together it won't matter at all

I just found you on youtube. Followed crazy quilt burgundy videos through 16, 17? Have you done a video on how to do the interfacing and backing? I do appreciate all of your videos's so far.. So what I'm asking is there a video for the interface and finishing of the quilt?
Yes for the backing. Maybe on the interfacing. Try the peaches and cream for that if there's not one for Burgundy

@@sandygallo2997 I did not show the interfacing on the burgundy blocks. I showed it on the peaches and cream blocks here ua-cam.com/video/QgauDtCZncY/v-deo.html. I finish the burgundy quilt here ua-cam.com/video/h7i3C_D3p-4/v-deo.html. My life is crazy and it takes me a long time to do things and I forget what I say in videos.
Well I'm not technically savvy so I'm responding or replying somewhere but I'm not sure where but I just want to thank you so much for letting me know where to find the instructions for the interfacing. I think you do a wonderful job and I thank you for posting as much as you do and I know you do so much again thank you very much for replying and for letting me know where to find the instruction

Do you use special thread for the beads?
I like to use Nymo beading thread but honestly I will use anything these days.
