I have my baby quilt made for me by a very poor woman who was a neighbor of my grandmother. It was pieced crazy style with embroidery stitches. It’s humble and beautiful.
Thank you Sweet Kathryn for taking your time to show us these beautiful stitches 🪡! Bonus video from our devoted leader, you show how much you care all the time❤
Thank you so much!!! I'm watching and thinking "OHHHH!!! THAT'S how it's done!!!" I've seen some tutorials showing these stitches and just couldn't get it. Your explanation and tutorial makes it make sense!!! Also, I love the micron pens!!! Wonderful for drawing, doodling, and zentangling!❤
Was just working on a crazy patchwork journal cover when I saw your video. I know all these stitches, but when working I tend to “draw a blank” and not be able to think of anything else to do. Thank you!
What a wonderful surprise 😊 Marion is a brilliant talented lady. As you are. Marion is having her one year anniversary on utube this weekend be sure to watch.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful demo, I feel much more confident about these stitches, and did not previously know the Cretan stitch. Now waiting with excitement for The crazy patchwork.

🎉 belated birthday blessings to you, dear K3N! You have opened up new realms of possibilities for my mending practice, and I have dared to venture into some of your projects. I have had clothes needing mending, but I couldn’t figure out what to do with them until I started watching you. I am very grateful for your knowledge you’re wit and your concern for your words. Terrific Kathryn. I've worked backwards from Crazy Patchwork 2 to 1 to this one. I used to love my Mum's half-finished embroidery pieces on printed cloth. I still have them.
Oh this brings back memories of stitching blue pattern tray cloths with my grandmother. I’ve just reignited my desire to stitch after many, many years and thanks to you I feel so much more confident with it. I really wanted to stitch a crazy knee quilt, how did you know? 😂
