  • Let's face it: parenting while working from home is tough!
    So, we hosted a live Q&A with experts who specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for parenting! We discussed strategies for giving our children structure, helping them manage their emotions, and finding time for our own self care!
    Dr. Ilyse Dobrow DiMarco is a Clinical Psychologist, Writer, and the Founder/Director of the North Jersey Center for Anxiety and Stress Management in Summit, NJ. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety, with a sub-specialty in working with parents of young children. Dr. Dobrow DiMarco’s writing on parental stress and anxiety has been featured in Motherwell, Motherly, Pop Sugar Moms, Psychology Today, and Scary Mommy, as well as on her own blog, DrCBTMom.com. She is the author of Mom Brain: Proven Strategies to Fight the Anxiety, Guilt, and Overwhelming Emotions of Motherhood--And Relax Into Your New Self, to be published by Guilford Press in 2021. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rutgers University.
    Dr. Andres De Los Reyes is a Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Maryland at College Park, where he directs the Comprehensive Assessment and Intervention Program. He specializes in the study of communication between children and their parents, particularly when it comes to anxiety symptoms. An author of over 100 scientific articles, he is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychology (2017-2025). He is also the Founding Program Chair of the Future Directions Forum, an annual meeting that offers state-of-the-art professional development training on all elements of academic work. He is the author of the recently published book The Early Career Researcher’s Toolbox, where he reveals concrete strategies for building a research program and launching an academic career. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Yale University.
    Dr. Henri-Lee Stalk is a post-doctoral fellow at Together Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a practice specializing in therapy for anxiety and stress. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression and rule-breaking behavior for court-involved youth and adults. She has extensive experience working with parents and providing them with evidence-based tools. She has a decade of experience providing evidence-based patient care as well as behavioral consultation for healthcare, legal, and business clients. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa as well as a JD.
