Sheer Cold hits more often if the one using it is Ice type, and if the opponent is "underleveled"
Example: Lapras lv. 50 using Sheer Cold vs. Salamence lv.50 = 30% acuraccy
Smeargle lv.50 vs. Salamence lv.50 = 20% acuraccy (no ice type boost)
Lapras lv.100 vs Salamence lv.50 = 80% acuraccy (10% ice type boost + 50% level boost)
Lapras lv.49 vs Salamence lv.50 = 0% acuraccy (doesn't work if the user is underleveled)

If they'd had Courtney and Mega Evolution in Pokemon Emerald in addition to this awesome music, it would be my favourite Pokemon game. The remakes had some good stuff like making Courtney a very unique and interesting character instead of just another obstacle for you to defeat but they also screwed up in some areas. Changing the Elite 4 music was one of those mistakes but the most obvious and frustrating one was leaving out the Battle Frontier.

He's a member of a mile high club and has plenty of reason to be smiling with confidence. In actual Pokemon lore this is like the equivalent of being a demi God 🤷 They didn't just get their positions for no good reason. Elite four members are a prodigy in their world and capable of training more Pokemon at a given time than your average trainer. They are DEFINETLY better too than their game counterparts. Agatha utterly decimated Ashs' elite four run in season 1 and made him look like a stool pidgeon after all that travel, badges and experience.

Example: Lapras lv. 50 using Sheer Cold vs. Salamence lv.50 = 30% acuraccy

Fun Fact for my Pkmn Ruby Experience as a kid:
I actually never knew there even was a Top 4 (never paid attention) so i just defeated random Trainers and wild Pokemon for MONTHS after obtaining Groudon.
If i remember correctly i had a Groudon and Blaziken somewhere around LvL 72-75. And i was randomly surfing towards this huge waterfall (which led to the last cave before the Top 4) and i was like ''What? New Area?''.
Needless to say i was surprised after all this time that there still was some content left. Also needless to say, that after standing in the first room, i was plowing through the Top 4 with 0 Problems. No wonder with a LvL 72 Groudon and LvL 68 Blaziken.

This song theme makes me cry and I am an adult. I recently played my first ever Emerald run and 6/8 on my second dum currently. All the wasted years 😭 This soundtrack deliberately triggers emotional response because its deliberately made in soundwaves to have multiple emotions. Little did I know that bastard at the end came at a surprised. That moment your Blaziken levels up to 59 and learns Sky Uppercut while facing Drake. Blaze kick the Salamance but it is not enough. Salamance uses Fly. No other way to win unless you knock that thing out of the sky. First time ever using Sky uppercut and it came in clutch.
