I have a lifted jeep liberty, you basically have to get offroad / re engineered upper control arms. Also I recommend getting new moog lower ball joints as well
This account deserves more attention. Looks really professional. I was expecting to see this channel have millions of subs. Keep it up man. I have the same model car which is how I found this account
Looks great! I'm building a liberty right now, I'm looking forward to seeing the winch installation and the universal snorkel. I'm not paying $500 for the custom fit snorkel.
We should have watched this video before we started. We spend all day trying to fit the wish bone back in the stock location. We will try the trick you used to get it back in place.
I ran a lift kit for a few years. It causes front end components to wear excessively fast. Front bushings, CV axle, upper and lower ball joints. My advice is upgrade tire size and hammer the metal and cut the fender as needed to fit the tires. It will give about 1.5" of lift
I hope that snorkel dont leak water, the body part u cut is exposed so much that it will leak in the body. I would weld thin sheet of metal inside to make it structural stronger and waterproof. But great build, thats nice car to have ;) gl
Just remember for Safety... ALLsuspension components are supposed to be tightened to manufacturers specification (Ft/lbs). Other than that, Great video.
What size wheels and tires were able to go up to? I bought some 20” wheels w 31” tires on them and installed a 2.5” spacers for front and 2” spacers for rear and still rubbing, now cutting a bit of the wheel well and maybe putting on some 1.5” wheel spacers to see if that helps w front hard turn rubbing.
What is the difference between the 2002 and 2007 Liberty models, and is there a difference between them and the Liberty Ranged, and which one is better? Thank you?
I had 235/65/17 tyres on my jeep (same as urs) now ive put 265/65/17 on and its touching a bit on arches and fenderliner whats the best thing to do to get it higher
Have just put a lift kit 2" (I think) but am noticing a slight rattle from the rear when going over small bumps or corrugations any idea as to what the problem could be?
I don't think the KJ's came with locking diffs however there are locking products out there that you can fit to make it a locking diff. And I've never taken it on sand or a desert so I'm not too sure on that one!
Hi sorry I mean the passenger side front I fitted mine and it looks like the drive shaft would hit just trying to find out if you had any issues loving the Chanel mate great content
@@stemartin1726 ah right sorry, didn't have any issues with driveshaft but we did fit bump stops at the top if you have them too? And thanks appreciate the feedback 🙏
@@PeakPatrick ok I will have another go with it I’ve fitted the rear took me 10 mins a side but the front hole different ball game aha look forward to seeing more content of the jeep
It's called a Liberty in the USA/Canada, and I think called the Cherokee in some parts of Europe. We have a different Cherokee over here as well, but the liberty was meant to be a replacement for the Cherokee, hence why they share the name, except the Cherokee was never actually discontinued in the end, at least in north America. Not sure if they do offer the Cherokee in EU, especially now that the Liberty has been discontinued.
All this work . It is still made by fiat. 2001 is when they stopped being off road capable. This thing is broken down somewhere as of 6-1-2021. I bet money on it. It is broken down somewhere meanwhile my 1998 jeep Cherokee with 240k is still running circles around this.

Pretty impressive you doing all this in a park lot with limited tools!! Well Done 👍
After watching this everyone wants to lift their cars now 😂 that's a really nice piece of kit, and great job. Looks solid and just getting better..
Shall I lift the audi next? 🤣 thanks man we're getting there!
Good luck with your project kj broh, this is my favorite car on the world greetings from the caribbean mexican
Thank you man, appreciate the support!

How come you had to change the upper control arms?
@@PeakPatrick apparently it’s to help with alignment and control arm ball joint failure

Legend, thank you so much man 🙏 I'm trying to keep the content quality up, just need to work on my consistency! What engine have you got?
Looks great! I'm building a liberty right now, I'm looking forward to seeing the winch installation and the universal snorkel. I'm not paying $500 for the custom fit snorkel.
I think we payed around 150 for the snorkel so its worth the extra fitting to save a bit ✌
Nice build, love to see where this goes.
Thanks, still got a few bits left to do in future video 👍

Parking lot swap that looks good. Nice job.
Thanks, not too bad for an amateur! 😅
This vid makes me want a big fat Jeep
Bit big for a first car love
@@PeakPatrick the bigger the better you know that

Great build, looking forward to the off roading!
Thanks for the support and glad you're enjoying it!
Great vid I have just got my lift kit to put in my liberty your front bumper does not look like it’s a exact fit what Vehicle is it off
Just remember for Safety... ALLsuspension components are supposed to be tightened to manufacturers specification (Ft/lbs). Other than that, Great video.
Love that dog so gorgeous
Hey there thanks so much for this video , where did you get that bumper ?
hope all is well, i haven't see an update vid do you still like this lift im looking to buy one
Are we going to get more videos of the KJ? I have one and I'm very interested in it's mechanics.
Nice build 🚙
Thanks bro x
Sick, keep it once youve done!
Off-roading in Cornwall 👀
Morning brother....the ground clearence is ok.what about do u recommend?oh I can drive up 200km /h ?
Hey bro great video how much was the lift kit?
where can I find the stop of the front scissor as you have put the red one, but the factory one
What size wheels and tires were able to go up to? Where did you find a lift kit for a CRD (diesel) from Rough Country, all the kits I see say not for diesels.
I have just put the kit in the video description, its for petrol and diesels ✌
What is the difference between the 2002 and 2007 Liberty models, and is there a difference between them and the Liberty Ranged, and which one is better? Thank you?
Thought I would check back with your channel as its been over a year. Did you go off road with it? I would love to compare mine vrs yours
How did you avoid the torqued angle of your control arm when installing the front lift
I had 235/65/17 tyres on my jeep (same as urs) now ive put 265/65/17 on and its touching a bit on arches and fenderliner whats the best thing to do to get it higher
Great video! Where did you get your lift kit? Your ebay link is not working.
Hello How are you I hope you are fine I like the lifting kit that you are using How can I get a set of them
Hi there's a link to the kit in the description of this video 👍
good job mate 💪👍
Where did you get the lift kit from?
Add another rear upper ISO on the top of the spring for a .5” lift 😄
Not sure if the wishbone could handle it haha
What snorkel kit have you used.is there any cheaper alternatives I can use .thanks.
Hello. Did you have to clamp the front spring due to the shock being up against the drive shaft at first?
I think it would be nicer to drop the lower control arm pivot points about 25mm/1 inch.
Have just put a lift kit 2" (I think) but am noticing a slight rattle from the rear when going over small bumps or corrugations any idea as to what the problem could be?
What's the tallest lift kit and biggest tire and rim you can put on a Jeep Liberty 2002
How was the steering afterwards? I put in a lift and my Steering was quite dodgy.
Felt pretty similar actually, had alignment done too so could've made a difference
Where can I get the front bumper with the winch?
So how much would you charge for fitting a lifting kit
The plastic pieces are rear bump stops. I should have waited till the end. The CRD is rare here in the US. I have a 3.6L V6.
Bro i have the same jeep i wana know dose this car has diff locks ? And if they have while going on desert if we disable the abs would it work ?
I don't think the KJ's came with locking diffs however there are locking products out there that you can fit to make it a locking diff. And I've never taken it on sand or a desert so I'm not too sure on that one!
did you do anything to prevent camber or did the wheels just naturally stay straight
Had to get the tracking and alignment sorted at the garage, but you can still drive without getting it done 👍
Class broheem
🤝🤝🤝
What type of bumper did you put on the front
How much did it cost in total to to lift it?
I've got one of these jeeps so what lift kit you using ?
Would this shock/spring set up fit in the front as well? I’m trying to avoid spacers. (2007 liberty)
link not work. :( this lift fits a 2007 stock jeep liberty ?
I have an 03 liberty 4x4. Would love to lift it. What kit did you use?
Hey it was a rough country lift with custom front spacers, the link is in the description 👍
Have you had any rpoblems with the homokinetic after the lift while using the 4x4 high o Lo? that happened to me after the same lift (inches)
What about air suspension is that a viable option obviously not for off-road but just for around town
I think fitting air suspension would be overkill to be honest 😅
@@PeakPatrick yeah I kinda wanted to lower my Jeep for like the vip look but then be able to lift it when I wanted
where'd you get that bumper ? or is it a bumper guard of some sort ?
We bought it second hand, but originally it was manufactured by World of bumpers 👍
@@PeakPatrick awesome thanks
Hi there I’ve fitted my lift kit the the rear did you have any problems fitting the passenger side where the drive shaft to close to the shock ?
I didn't, both sides at the back went in reasonably smoothly after lowering the rear axle on a jack

Muito bom !
Very nice !
Whats your tire ?
You got a link for the snorkel ?
Is this the 2.8 diesel?
All you need is a 5' bar, a 1/4 ton come along and tops 20mins
What front bumper is that
So what size tires are you able to fit now?
We can go up to 265/70R16
Still not even a 31 10.50 15 . Which is the smallest off road tire
265/70/16 are skinney pizza cutter looking tires
Can I do this to a jeep liberty 02 3.4
Where can I buy this lift?
Anymore videos coming on this Jeep?
We took it off roading and I got a decent amount of footage, may upload that at some point 👍
Will it fit a 2wd model
Will a 17-in tire and rim fit on the Jeep Liberty 2002
Just got a diesel 06 for 350$trade and lookin to lift and mud it and use for a brush smasher
Where your bye your snorkel ?
What esnorkel does where I can buy it
What was that snorkel meant for?
What is the amount of engine oil 3700
where do i find the next video?
What tires are those
lad those tires
Isn’t this called a Jeep Liberty?
Don't wind me up 🙄

Because I’m disabled
What size of tires? I'm looking at this same kit but 3 inch.
How much did that lift kit cost
