    Here is the lift kit used in the video. www.ironrockoffroad.com/product/kj-25-premium-series-lift-kit.html

    I hope you waited till the full weight of the kj was on the ground before you tightened the suspension bolts. Mainly for the rubber bushing preload. The flex joints should be fine.
    If you would have loosed the lower control arms. The assembly would have gone in much easier. You have to get a front alignment anyway.

      All good advice. Thanks for sharing. I ordered some JBA upper control arms so more to come along with an alignment. Thanks for watching👊

    Excellent video, I just bought the Moog but I will definitely buy this one, my KJ has the same lift but with spacers and blistein B8 shocks, but this boomerang definitely looks better, I'll tell you later, greetings from Mexico!

      Thanks for watching. The upper and lower control arms in the rear along with the flex joints are worth the price of the lift alone. Thanks CMAC

    Do you think if you loosened the front cradle bolts and let it drop down about an inch that you would have had an easier time getting the front end back together with the taller strut assembly?

    • @MacsSpecialitiesMotorsports

      Not a bad idea but I wonder if the cradle would walk away from you while trying to installing the strut. Thanks for watching 👊

    Question, I have the iron rock upper & lower adjustable arms also. Did you have any issues with pinion angle on the rear differential?

    • @MacsSpecialitiesMotorsports
      @MacsSpecialitiesMotorsports  10 місяців тому

      I did not. I matched the angles with an angle finder. Match the output on the rear of the transfer case to the angle of the pinion on the rear differential. Good luck 🍀dialing yours in. Thanks for watching 👊

    Take the CV nut off. It allows for so much more drop to put that lower bolt back in.

      @MacsSpecialitiesMotorsports  Рік тому +1

    The kk clevis will give you 3/4 inch of lift when swapped with the KJ clevis. The KK clevis is longer because the spring rate is lower on the kk springs. So when you swapped in the kk assembly. You did nothing to add lift with that set up.

    • @TomaszbtdZiobrowski
      @TomaszbtdZiobrowski Рік тому +1

      exactly. kk clevis forks give bonus lift with kj coilovers.
      I use both, kk clevis forks and 1" ring for normal clevis lift in my crd libby. Driver side was hard to assembly but doing that second time you can do it alone :)

    Why can't you just weld a 2.5 inch extension on the lower strut assembly bracket?

    • @MacsSpecialitiesMotorsports
      @MacsSpecialitiesMotorsports  Місяць тому +1

      The Struts forks are cast steel so that would be a tall task but it would be cool to see someone try it. Thanks for watching 👊

      @@MacsSpecialitiesMotorsports the ones in the dodge nitros are stamped steel. I'm about to order 2 and I'm gonna weld in 3 inch extensions.
