Louie I'm not sure if rough country decided to help the problem a bit by including a "L" shaped adapter/connector to fix the issue, but it was included in my kit. American trucks have an installation video and the installation looked very easy. Unfortunately my installation was not an hour, it was more 3 hours and with there install the hose fit perfectly,
thank you.. just got one for my birthday. im not a vblog person but will try to watch out for what you ran into.
I was going to buy me one but with all the issues i probably look for a different brand, thx for the video made me change my mind
I bought this for my 2017 ram and I'm highly disappointed it barely fits just like yours and I'm running a super long vent hose to avoid the kink I'm not sure if it's any better than my stock airbox.
hello again, just got mine installed. the rubber edging is a pain and i used super glue to help in the corners and the 90 degree corners. secondly, and make fun all you want; but after watching the problems YOU had with the hosing, i used the existing air intake with the sensor connector and attached it to the new rough country box and filter. im sure there is a reason for me to change over to the metal tube, but im betting there is such a slight percentage gain that the time i saved by not doing it might justify it. thoughts?
I mean you got it on and that is a win! basically it is only for little gains for power but it is more for looks. . . you had to do what you had to do to get it on so good job!
I would have ordered from K&N directly. K&N series 63
Yeah I am looking into those now
Mine keeps coming off, getting the S&B
That’s with me too. Mine fell off all came loose. Sucks I spent 240 now gotta spend double for k&n
@@Mystichandler2 dude, the S&B is best, looks awesome, improved my consumption and it’s sturdy with minimum joints
I ended up having to reinstall original. What a waste of money
Fuck my guy the only problem I wad having is how the he'll it actually bolts to fender ... u didn't even show or cover that
The rough country is already the low budget one... It's only $150 the expensive is K&N it's over $450🤣🤣🤣🤣 cheap ass
