We got the Disney Channel in 1991 and they were still using those sky/ rainbow ribbon bumpers.
Man I remember getting these sneak peeks of the Disney Channel. We would binge knowing my parents wouldn’t pay to keep it.
I wasn't born yet in 1987 but yes I vaguely remember the Disney Channel. I think my mom recorded one of their music shows from the 90s, but I don't have it anymore. Those music shows definitely would've been my favorite thing about it because I'm an old soul.

Like so many others here this was The Disney Channel as I grew up with it, and when like the Disney parks it lived up to the legacy of Walt Disney far more than the entire Disney empire dies today. Sometimes things were misleading though I have to admit. That commercial for the Charlie Brown special at 4:25 for instance is misguided as it portrays the Peanuts gang as a close group of friends who always got along well and adored Charlie Brown when actually they often fought and usually treated Charlie Brown like dirt much less like their lovable hero. That’s the media for you.

i miss when disney was like this. born in 83 and remember the late 80's early 90's disney. now disney is just woke garbage, a shell of what they use to be like.
