Nancy the Disney Channel Operator isn't her real name. Her real name is Maggie Egan, and she's married to Jim Cummings (Winnie the Pooh and Darkwing Duck).

This aired the day after my 5th birthday:) I remember we had just gotten that illegal cable box in December 88. I believe it was called an unscrambler and it gave you all the paid channels on cable for free. It was illegal to have but worth it for us poor 80s kids who wanted to watch Disney channel and HBO. I remember my mom's boyfriend gave it to us for Christmas.
You were five years old then. At such a young age, you wouldn’t have been legally responsible for the crime of owning an unscrambler. The only person who would be punished for that crime of buying the unscrambler would be your mother’s boyfriend.
But Disney Channel hasn’t always run programming made by the Walt Disney Productions Company. Don’t expect a network’s name to define that network exactly!
Disney Channel back in 1984 priced about $10.00 and was the same price for rival HBO! Now, Disney Channel is packed in your extra expensive cable TV package and not even worth of watching! Sorry Mickey! Too much teen drama!
The Disney Channel was so awsome in the late 80s , so nostalgic, thank you for uploading ; )

Fred Newman did some sound effects for _Doug_ , and even voiced some characters like Porkchop.
16:16 RIP Gene Wilder. You'll always be remembered for your incredible role as Willy Wonka.
