Now that Betafpv has released the Cetus Pro with the laser and I think that ultrasonic altitude levelers, I think that it could be a good technology to implement on cinewhoops as you say that maintaining altitude is a very important part of flying them. There could be an option to turn on and off the altitude hold function on a cinewhoop whenever needed. You're probably not going to read this comment since you released this video a year ago, but I think it could be a cool option to have on a cinewhoop.
Are you f***ing kidding me? This was an absolutely awesome experience to first see the result and then, that it really took you only a few minutes to get an idea of the story you want to tell. Seriously my hands still sweat wet. I find no better words to express my excitement. I'm neither an experienced pilot nor a filmmaker, but I'm that curious as hell to see more of this! 😳
Hello! Amazing video. Could you be so kind to answer to this questions: - Are there any betafly settings which are good for cinewhoop? - Are you using an acro mode or angle mode? - Could you tell us smth abouts your pids?
Do you create footage in these situations in angle or acro mode? I feel like it would make much more sense to fly in angle mode and do almost all turning with the yaw and maybe a 10-20% mixing of roll in betaflight, as opposed to trying to do this full acro. Just curious what your method was
Your raw abilities are out of this world. Maybe not out, but like only three people in entire world can _try_ to imitate you. I know it took years of work. But still, incredible.
Would that I could chuck some dosh your way, my friend. Fixed income here, and I have to fly bottom-level LDARC stuff. However, my aim is to get something like a Firefly2 and mount it on a 2S ET100 for indoors, and a 4S HD140 for outdoors. Strictly hobby stuff to keep an old git occupied. I just recently found your channel, and think it's one of the best ones here on UA-cam; you own the camera, and I enjoy your presentation style; your stick skills are gonna give me a stroke one of these days - and what a way to be goin' out! So, keep up the good work, Nurk. You're def-o schoolin' this old crank.
Just WOW! Thanbk you for sharing these insides. I am just getting into flying my cine whoop and grabbing like every straw i can get. Thank you so much! Greetings from Germany!
Absolutely agree with you, that most important thing from all tips is - STORY, as you told. And what you want to tell with this story. I'm not a professional, but I felt that storytelling is the most important thing. And in my video I also try to tell a story. Plus, you're a cool guy, best wishes, Lithuania.
Great flying Nurk, PLEASE PLEASE point me to a good starting point to pid and filter settings for Shen Dren, i know it takes smooth fingers or flying, but pid and filter settings I’m lost. Thanks love your channel!
I've been learning from you for cine quite a while, now my perspective control has improved, i'm just realising the difficulty now in maintaining focus on subject, whilst getting features in the shot without hitting them, because where i look has been so related to where i flew until now. it's a whole lot more real time planning lol.
Amazing, new to this as of Aug 22 learnt a lot of building a story, which I have always done with my dji mavics but they are never one take, a lot can be corrected in edit. This got me thinking about a few shoots i’d like to go back and redo.
this is going to work out for you, its great concepts of telling how to tell a story by walking the target environment. i am moving to a Four Inch Cinewhoop from FPVFrame.ch , 2207 motors 1600 kv to carry a gimbal because i just prefer that. i like the way you started off this course!!! keep it going man!!
I've gone down the UA-cam rabbit hole plenty of times with FPV, but never put all the pieces together. As I'm watching, I say "damn, that looks like Bardwell!", and "hey I've seen Drew's videos". It's like finding out that James Taylor sang backup for Stevie Winwood or Jimmy Paige played on a Donovan song for beer money. Sure, this a year and a half old, but it's the hidden background story that is as good as the actual story.
Seen the footage.. amazing to see the setup. You shouldn't be called Nurk FPV.. But Vision FPV.... I've always loved your work.. I've seen this.. only after market...
I'm using my Cinewhoop regularly in professional video making, and it's mostly thanks to you :) Thanks a lot for the inspiration, motivation and information you shared those last years :D !
Way way cool. Just discovered Cinewhoops today. Confused on the camera on the unit flown here. Was it a GoPro or a DJI FPV unit? Also what camera profile is used? Flat, D-log? Or... And... Settings all on Auto (including ISO) or manual ? Truly impressed!
Dats was dope dude I just got the bumble bee 🐝 so much fun but very big and heavy with the 6C batteries and the go pro - need a smaller lighter Cinemawoop with the same camera as a go pro eight with hyper smooth but a quarter of the size would be amazing 🕺
holy $#!+ on a shingle you fkn rock dude!!! I can't thank you enough for putting this out there. I have so much more confidence in myself after seeing how you put it all together. Ive found my true purpose in life finding fpv. I can't imagine going another day without ripping the skys. I started flying fpv in february of this year (2020) its dificult to believe how far I've come and its only been 2-3 months. my daily bashers are a new bee drone vivid frame with an air unit infinity stack and hypetrain blasters 4s and my armattan badger infinity stack and new bee drone flow motors (or 6s blasters on occasion) i started promoting myself to small businesses with my transtec beetle and insta 360... I love what you're chasing brother!!! Keep it coming!!!!!
great tipps. thx for sharing your knowledge :) btw... you were the guy hooked me on fpv 4 month ago with one of your videos. td im here watching this while im waiting for the parts for my cinewhoopbuild. i never felt an addiction to a hobby like fpv. So thank you so much for this and happy flight
Hi from Brazil! Happy New Year! I have a question about ReelSteadyGo. What kind of video format do I need to do to process with ReelSteadyGo? Thanks. Happy flying! ✌️✌️✌️
Hi Nurk, thank you for your great and inspiring videos. Was wondering : in your long experience on working with the squirt, have you found a way to keep it from sucking itself in to walls when getting to close to them ? Got the same problem with some whoops actually > angle mode issue, may be ?
Inspiring! Question - with this type of videography, do you ever use much roll or is it yaw to steer? Since this is not a stabilised gimbal, then banking through a turn would angle the horizon thus ruining the shot. All yaw? Thanks.
Bravo, well done! Watching other drone videos I think your lessons are all the more valuable: storytelling first and foremost, scripted flights and no unnecessary flippy-flops that ruin the flow... Yes! Thank you! That's filmmaking ;) On a sidenote, good job on the sound edit too: you didn't mention it in the video but makes a tremendous difference. AUDIO-visual, right ;)
Thanks for sharing the cinewhoop trick Do you fly it in acro/air/stable on that? Or maybe you can give us advice what better mode to fky cinewhoop. Thanks man
@@NURKFPV ohh and another one question, in the end of video you show us the video before you edit it. Is the video is from the air unit or from the gopro"hipersmooth on/off" cos I saw very smooth result. The part of video that I mean is when you want to go through the first car, non edit version your altitude is go up before entere the gap, the second is whne you want to enter the car after flying near the big drone, you also get a little wooble. Thats 2 scene are look so smoot after you edit it
Great educational video... was it at all intimidating to direct rotor riot group?? Should the pilot always be in command of flight path and shoot? It seemed like you were their boss. Im used to just doing what im told wants to be done... should I change that?
Have to ask u I’m watching this video at your shop we’re they build drones I was wondering what shirt u we’re wearing that says Detroit on the back & looks like u on the front with a hat on
65 years young and starting to fly FPV in a couple ofweeks.
Very proud of everyone in this video!

Would love for you to talk about post production as well since there are so many considerations to cleaning up GoPro footage indoors, like noise.
He just deletes the whole audio file and uses music and custom sounds lol
Video noise.

Man. I teared up when that thing came together at the end. Incredible everything!
Nurk has made a whole new era with FPV!!!!!!!!! I love it
fantastic flying. As long time comercial pilot flying B777/787 and a noob drone pilot I really dig your control. Well done.

Really cool when you flew it along the bulb lines.
Verry nicely done.Great job guys n gals.thank you for sharing was interesting annd fun to watch, nice sized drones ive never seen before.Cheers all.
one of the best videos on the subject, would love to see more like this
Loved watching that whole process at the end. Brilliant!
recently discovered your channel, love your content, getting into FPV (living in a simulator right now... yaaaaaay....) Keep up the great work!
this is GOLD! thanks for the masterclass sir!
I was there when the cinewhoop got its name!!! Great stuff Nurk!!!

It’s humiliating to as of nurk was flying Acro or angle!
Thank u for this vid! The cinewhoop is sooo my favorite quad.. ive sooo turned in to a cinematic Flyer! I love telling stories! U rock bro!
Step 1 to getting great footage - Learn to fly like Nurk!

I think you needed 4 more UA-camrs in this.
Amazing to see the making of! Thanks!!

2:45 is that Joshua Bardwell sneaking up in your video ?!?!
Not sure why I was never subscribed. Your videos are good! Thanks for what you do
That was beautiful 'man. The walk through before the realtime flight was incredibly interesting. Seeing you develop (direct) the shot, wow. Well done!
NIce one. I you are flying a cinewhoop outdoor then to indoor what will be ur setting? Will you use ND filter?
Thanks for taking the time to make this! Super informative.
Thank you so much for the video, feels like family.
Show Off! Kudos for those skills
😁😁
Love what your doing my friend, thanks from 🇬🇧
The best behind the scenes drone video ever! Great work! 👍
First time seeing your channel. That facility is legit!
Wow amazing photography. So smooth.
I’m using a 1550 4s lipo is it too big ? Maybe will fly better and hold attitude better if I use a 850 one ?

Hi Nurk! Are you using the DJI unit now fulltime in your Cinewhoop or was that just for the RR video?
Soooooo much better than the Rotor Riot version! What a piece of film dude!
Amazing, new to this as of Aug 22 learnt a lot of building a story, which I have always done with my dji mavics but they are never one take, a lot can be corrected in edit. This got me thinking about a few shoots i’d like to go back and redo.
Nurk! Ain't you from Indiana? Represent son! Keep killing it homie
Hi, what tilt do you use for this sequence? Thanks to you 👍
Like 15 degrees max
@@NURKFPV wow, it's very high compared to the size of the room and the sequence to be filmed
Hey nurk do you use angle mode while flying?
Is that Joshua Bardwell at 19:43?
Epic behind the scenes !!! You nailed that flight first time go !
This video is beyond awesome!

you saw gopro footage and it was filmed in "flat". All settings locked.
Love the detroit multirotor shirt, nice support for the city

Nurky, love your content.
Cheers!
Wow that was amazing
awesome as always! love your cinewhoop work
Good video - thanks. Your motors for the cinewhoop link to the 1408 2722kv. I suppose those aren't the correct motors?
How long does the battery last for cinematic video
Do pids matter for cinewhoops running bf4.1 with rpm filtering? Is rpm filtering even needed?
Great work ! i wonder how you do get this cinematic look? What is the editing tip ?
Hi from Brazil! Happy New Year! I have a question about ReelSteadyGo. What kind of video format do I need to do to process with ReelSteadyGo? Thanks. Happy flying! ✌️✌️✌️
Is it normal to notice turbulence and course deviations with this type of drones?
love what your doing creating new techniques to tell stories with insired me to design and make my own first cinewhoop :D super excited
At point 3 when you said "maintain altitude",does it mean stabilized mode ? thanks for this very interesting video.
hi, can we use the angle mode to create good cinematic footage in cinewhoop?
No, the bobble makes it unusable. Learn to fly manual only and remove angle from your profile
Hi Nurk, thank you for your great and inspiring videos. Was wondering : in your long experience on working with the squirt, have you found a way to keep it from sucking itself in to walls when getting to close to them ? Got the same problem with some whoops actually > angle mode issue, may be ?
best model go pro or action camera for this type cine work ? thanks
Have you seen a way to get the mavic pro 2 hassleblad camera or equiv on a cinewhoop? I feel like vid quality is all these things are lacking.
Inspiring! Question - with this type of videography, do you ever use much roll or is it yaw to steer? Since this is not a stabilised gimbal, then banking through a turn would angle the horizon thus ruining the shot. All yaw? Thanks.

Agreed I’m trying to find out the name of the music used
The foley with the music made it immersive
awesome flying skill
Just a heads up, the shendrones squirt link is broken.
Bro, quick question ⁉️
Is there a way to make my cinewhoop go long distance?
Thanks for sharing the cinewhoop trick
Do you fly it in acro/air/stable on that? Or maybe you can give us advice what better mode to fky cinewhoop. Thanks man
Acro and acro is the best. With other modes it's harder to make nice straight lines cause you're constantly fighting the drone.
