I bought a phiholf2 a month ago and I’m using your vids to groove a swing. Can’t wait to try it in April when the snow melts.

great video that makes a lot of sense, thank you. (btw, there is a bit I am not sure about, the "feet and knees together" at the end, I see the knees but the feet don't touch each other at follow through. Have I missed your meaning here or did you not literally mean what you said?)

The intention and goal is to keep together. If they come away a little it’s ok, but also I may have just not been focussed on that as talking etc 🤷🏻‍♂️🏌🏽💪👍

Great tips, #1 is a shot I use for 50,65,75,85,100 yard wedge shots. Same swing different loft. #3 Is also helpful when explaining the proper stance width to new players. Start from the finish with knees touching for irons, slightly spread for driver, and your feet are automatically set to the proper width for your body.

Many years ago, I spent three months practicing and playing with #2 and the others are great when things feel a little off 🏌🏽💪

I enjoy your videos but the real problem is 95% of golfers are plagued by chunking the ball. Everything we do is a compensation to not chunk it on the course. We cant even chip without chunking.
We dont know how to use the tool.
We can all learn in 1 day to hit a nail on the head with a hammer and by the end of the day we can naturally add tremendous power.
“Straight jacket golf” instructors twist us up like a pretzel with positions and think we’ll be able to swing freely and powerfully.
How do we use the tool and how do we get the club sweeping at the correct height at impact?
Teach us that and we can take care of the rest.
Do you have any videos you can point me to that will help with this plague

      Hi there!
You are correct and we have a few to help fat shots but also the holding the hammer and using wrists correctly ua-cam.com/video/1Fk631uO72g/v-deo.htmlsi=3E3MApMaiqRffued

But... that final swing of yours had a ton of wrist hinge 😢 This is the part of golf instruction that gets me rattled, is being told to do or not to do something, but the end result is the opposite. It's extremely frustrating

    • @TheArtofSimpleGolf
      @TheArtofSimpleGolf  3 місяці тому +1

It’s the intention. I did not think about it all.. that’s the point.

@@TheArtofSimpleGolf yeah but you didn't think about it because you probably have what two decades of high-level golf behind you? It's instinct for you. But for those of us who have just started, we take these things literally.

Stop watching UA-cam coaches it will get you nowhere. Every other coach just all contradict eachother and 90% of them just contradict themselves
That Alex Elliott clown is the worst. He contradicts himself every video he makes
