Thanks for this update & giving Mario the floor to explain some "home truths" about legal proceedings... it's never as simple as you think. What many people don't appreciate is that legal action of _any_ kind is stressful, whether you can afford to fight it or not. It permeates your whole life... even the most frivolous of lawsuits can threaten your livelihood & financial stability because now you have months (if not years) of extra expenses & precious time that you'll need to spend on the lawsuit instead of on you & your family. It taints your decision-making, both privately & professionally. And worst of all, just because you are in the right _morally_ doesn't mean you’re guaranteed to win _legally…_ and that can take a huge mental toll. It’s why so many suits settle out of court, and why people rarely recoup their legal costs… the cost is far greater than any benefit, you just want it to be over. And it’s why people like Ali - who weaponise legal processes like DMCA takedowns & frivolous SLAPP lawsuits - are scum of the earth. It's pretty late, but it's a nice breath of fresh air. Watching the breakdown of someone actually getting legal trouble because they weren't able to bully you into Silence
It is and it isn't. At the end of the day, I was able to end the suit before my client was even served (they messed up service at least once, you see). Now, it may be simple to say this case got ended quick or easily, but the truth is more nuanced and involved, which we wanted to share and explain a bit. Luckily g0at had a pro bono lawyer who had an unusual amount of litigation expertise generally and in this area of the law specifically, but it could have really sucked if he didn't. I imagine I'd be similarly dazzled coming to Germany by some of the laws there. I can think of one off the bat but I don't want to seem rude. In terms of the fight here, had we gone on, I think we would have won on kicking the suit out of OH at least. Whether the enemy would have continued in another jurisdiction--not so sure. Thankfully all the other available jurisdictions--places where the plaintiffs or a defendant were located--all have at least passable anti-SLAPP statutes. And so we'd have been able to hit back, and we had planned all that out and knew the lay of the land in those jurisdictions and knew who to tap in these legal networks and so on. Now, that isn't always the case, so I encourage people that if there is no anti-SLAPP statute in your jurisdiction, consider making it an issue where you live. Giving testimony on a bill may be easier than you think, and a handwritten letter is almost always read and taken seriously.
I'm no lawyer so maybe Legally speaking your right. but simply looking at crimes and how they are handled Germany is no better than USA. Yeah USA aint great either but Germany is right by us if not worse depending on what you value

I can think of a few German laws that are an even worse dumpster fire
I'm no lawyer so maybe Legally speaking your right. but simply looking at crimes and how they are handled Germany is no better than USA. Yeah USA aint great either but Germany is right by us if not worse depending on what you value
it is and it isnt. Check german tax law if you want to see a real dumpster fire
Law is kind of a dumpster fire everywhere. Sometimes, it's a beautiful dumpster fire. Most of the time, it's a necessary dumpster fire. The characteristics of what kind of dumpster fire it is varies, but the push-pull nature doesn't.
54th subscriber on your other channel. Hope to get a pat on my back in ten years :D
Wow, I really wish you the best of luck with this guy. Mario Cerame is awesome! The law is kinda weird battlefield, in Germany it's really scuffed in certain ways as well.
Ali is so salty 🧂I'm getting sodium overdose.
Great outcome, always a spirit lifter for the good guys to win! Love the channel ❤
GOAT WINS!!! Justice prevails :D
this is giveing me flash backs of when jim sterling was sued by Digital Homicide.
When criminals think they are legally right.
somebody took the trash out... thank you!!!
I hope you know how many naive people and Aviation Dads you saved from spending a lot of money...
I didnt realize that you were the wiggle guy. Glad you're not a 1 hit wonder. This was a great series of videos!
Fell down the rabbit hole here, while waiting for the Tark patch. Honestly.. W. I like you, dawg
Going to subscribe because you stood up to a bully who thought his money could threaten you and scare you into silence 😎
The Friendly Jordies thing was the first thing that came to mind, keep doing awesome work and stay safe brother man
02:15 not all journalists operate like that, all good journalists in my opinion operate like that but from what I observe a lot nowadays are very.... lazy in their sourcing. very often falling for things like the woozle effect. or just quoting/citing people who do flawed studies or research without realizing it.
I respect your work very well because you strive for what a journalist aught to be.
Congrat brotha! Well deserved, cant say the same for Ali.
CEO, lmao, he comes across more like one of those lifestyle guru's
9:10 I like how Marios beard matches his tie
Good stuff mate, glad everything worked out on the right side of justice, people like Ali are the reason why so many things are wrong in the world.
It's such a shame that online discourse lawsuits are done in such a way that allow sleaze bags to win by suing somewhere so inconvenient to defend yourself that you lose by default.
The fact your lawyer was Competent and had a plan is awesome and the guy is frankly awesome.
The fact you held him accountable for his utter bullshit and actually held him accountable for his garbage is beautiful
Love the shout out to Coffeezilla, and for all the work everyone like you content creators do!
imagine if all journalism is off the record
Nice one buddy, saw your first video on this subject, I'm pleased you got a good result.
Earning the name "GOAT" I see
Eww Ali .. in vtol vr chat.. get him out
Great video goat so glad u won against this clown!
very nice! mission success.
I hope the other codefendants can get free and clear as well.
I love these kind of videos, just subbed. Good on you for calling out these people.
Fantastic work. I was a little late to view these in order to support, but you've got a new sub for sure!
Congratulations! You are a great content creator. Just found your channel. I started with “the wiggle” I watched all 3 of the “TWS” and Ali scam. I really hope your channel blows up. I will be watching more for sure!
So your lawyer did the WIGGLE, and Ali wiggled back! Hahaha!!!!!!!
You earned a sub for exposing evil. God bless you
Loved the video btw! I like the way you present stuff like this so its entertaining AND I still learn something, thanks!
This Ali guy is just melting down in front of our eyes and ears
Also I like Mario Cerame a lot, you should ask him to comment more on future videos concerning legal stuff. REALLY interesting.
Good shit brother, love to see it!
Scumbags are way, WAY more common than good people in the "let me see you an idea" space.
i love how you're like the coffeezilla against cheaters and scammers in games
If this guy actually has an employee with top secret clearance, or who has had it in the past, that guy needs to GTFO right now. What Ali said about top secret info is insanely dangerous for that employee. If your boss is implying that you will accept leaked top secret info you need to get out. That is some fire you do not want.
Yeah that was such a naive take.
i can guarantee none of those guys had any sort of "top secret access" because anyone who has top secret access is not going to have time to work on amy sort of project like this. They're going be busy hunting people down.
You produce quality content and I appreciate your contributions to the UA-cam space. Thank you ❤
"UA-cam rejected the DMCA claim"
Hold up, UA-cam actually rejected a false DMCA claim?
In addition to having bigger balls, your lawyer has also a bigger beard than that Ali guy.
Found your channel after the wiggle video, but after this fiasco? I'm subbing. Bless you for being an upstanding man, that's rare these days it seems.
glad to hear from you g0at, keep up the great work
Glad to hear everything worked out for you, g0at!
Your journalism is reaching great heights I hope you take another dive into tarkov again to see what you can uncover
From country where i am watching this, this is not the matter of who is right, but who gets an accident at the end.
thank you for the video
Happy early birthday! Mine is on the second thats awesome! Glad to hear things are going well :)
Here's another comment to hopefully help the algorithm get more people to see this. And a round of applause for your lawyer who helped you, not for financial gain but because he knew it was the right thing to do 👏
