@@_Siloam_ It is a religion. It just makes more sense to worship God and not worship the religion itself. Religions have been used by tyrants and warmongers to oppress people and kill people for over an entire millenia. Religion isn't what you should follow, it's God you should follow.
@smallbutfierce That is the truth... Jesus calls us to be born again Christians... You Must Be Born Again 3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. 2 This man came to Jesus[a] by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” 3 Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again[b] he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:1-21).
@lordoftheflies7024 It is not rules and regulations... it is a way of life. To not give into sin! For example like any Father or parent... they teach you not to steal, murder... just the same as GOD. If you love GOD why wouldn't you want to please him like you would do your parents here on earth. Or do you just want to have a chaotic world. No rules or regulations as you say and sin and run rampid like the world is now! Jesus stated there be higher levels of lawlessness and no respect for authority and it is happening all over the globe. Even in this world there is a way of life. Respect the cops and authority as GOD commands us to do. It is no different! Not following this way of life and letting sin take over is why the world is the way it is now and it is only going to get worse, because individuals such as yourself have this mentality you are displaying right here in your comment! Please read the word of GOD and build up your armor... please do not follow the world for it has nothing to offer you, but Jesus has a free gift of eternal salvation...
🎯💯 but it's the pathetically embarrassing fact that she literally decided her "lil excuse" would be due to, one random 'pope' she met, half her lifetime ago, didn't like Harry Potter for meee tho 🙊🥴🙄
That's because Christianity has nothing to do with the Pope. The Catholic church is a manmade organization no different than scientology that just so happens to use Christianity as some of its core beliefs. Nowhere in the bible does it say anything about a pope nor bishops nor anything else, in fact it shuns any manmade thing that claims to know. True Christians and those who follow the bible are entirely against the Catholic church and any other.
Dr. Turek once said that if someone plays Beethoven poorly, you don't blame Beethoven--you blame the person playing. Likewise, in Christianity, when someone doesn't reflect Christ properly, you don't blame Jesus--the person is at fault.
I like the analogy via Frank Turek. Thanks. I also think the implicit reason why people leave the church and don't return apart from getting 'caught up in the worlds' with all it's trappings and seductions is that they saw hypocrisy with their church leaders, perhaps even downright evil intent. They looked also perhaps to the abuses of the church in history- the selling of indulgences by the Catholic church, the crusades, the Salem witch trials and executions to name a few. Lets always remember NOT to blame God for the brokenness of humanity. Let us return to all the examples as well as his invitations to us that Jesus left us during his earthly ministry and the Holy Spirit as helper and advocate as the means to truly open a relationship with our mighty and compassionate Lord and Savior. His Grace always abounds. We must have those eyes to see and those ears to see.
the problem is the absolute great majority of christians are bad musicians so you dom't even become interested enough into knowing the author, also because they are extremely butthurt on this matter and tell you that if you don't listen to those horrible musicians you'll brun in hell for eternity (there is no way to sugarcoat this because there is no comparison), so you could even get mad at music as the whole concept because this is so absurd to you and those musicians are so bad you just can't help it, add also having friends that were beating because did not study those bad musicians, you start to feel like musicians are your enemy, then you lose the concept of music and feel a void, so you get interested in colors, but again bad musicians tell you rhat this is not real art so they continue throwing tantrums and punching you sometimes because you are a painter and not a musician, that only makes you resent them more and makes you even more into painting, then only after a while, painters that healed from trauma can start understanding the concept of rythm firstly through color and then eventuallu get to music again, but it's an extremely long process bad musicians are delying more and more.
Love this! I think because Christ and the gospel is so real- when a persons spirit rejects it, deep down they feel it so they push back twice as hard to convince themselves that the gospel isn’t real. It also comes down to how they were taught. Some people make Christianity all about behavior and being perfect. Our given nature as sinners goes against that. We naturally want to satisfy our flesh because we are born flesh and born into sin. We have to accept Jesus and what He did and renew our relationship with God so he can change that rebellious nature to want to do the opposite.

Then after learning more about spirituality i understood that most of the people that claim to be christians actually understand nothing of it, and even me as a non christian know God more than them and that's embarassing, i had to explain to many christians how to effectivelt spread the gospel without being hurtful and causing the destruction of christianity's image, i think that if people understood true christianity the world would be so much better, but they don't, and me as a non christian have to explain that to them, there is a real problem with the christian community.

Not to mention the countless people who have no religious background, and to whom the mention of Jesus is like water on their back and makes no effect whatsoever. I have seen this with my own eyes countless times. To assume a vast inner drama, where the mention of Christ awakens the conscience and prompts pride and rebellion, is just that - a massive assumption which is yet another way in which Christian thought doesn't match a clear picture of reality as it is.

By definition it is a religion. Religion has become one of those words that has been abused. Christianity is a religion, any person practicing faith is religious. However, pure religion in the sight of God is caring for the lesser and those in need.
But theres no longer any reverence amongst the "I'm not religious" types. Faith accimpanies works though works are not salvation in and of themselves, they are signs of faith. I have major religious trauma, and i deeply relate to her, im still working on it even though going to church is rlly uncomfortable and i don't like it alot, but you go girl, i feel happy she found a thing that is good for her
There is a very common phrase in the book of Judges in the Bible and it says "and everyone did what was right in their own eyes". The problem with the new age "finding something that works for you" is that now everyone can basically create their own god and create their own moral system. There is no standard for morals, ethics, or behaviors. You carve and follow a god(or way of life) that suits your needs. Instead of God creating us, we try to create god. Pages after pages in the Bible record historically accurate events that show when people try to create their own gods(idols) and do things their own way that people and society descended into chaos. People struggle with following Christ because it feels like prison at first but that's because the path to freedom and life takes time and is never promised to be an easy road. God just promises He will be with us. No alcoholic wants to fully turn to God to stop drinking. Part of them, maybe, but a large part wants to keep on getting drunk(sinning). But when they do and they are freed from that real prison they realize the truth about God. Jesus showed us the way not because he wanted to monopolize on religion and people's eternal lives. He showed us the way because he loved us. I'm 1.5 years into a 2 year Bible College. I would dare to say that even most Christians that consider themselves devoted do not understand the Bible, Jesus's teachings, to the degree that we should. When you really really study the Bible you see that "whoa, this isn't just a story or fairytale". That's why anyone that dedicates just one year of their life to Jesus very very rarely turn back. Give Jesus another chance. Jesus, not a church. Go church shopping till you find your home.

A pastor i listened to while visiting family a few weeks ago said something close to this: a lot of people's bad experience with God's Word comes not from the Word itself, but by the person providing the experience. And its especially bad when the person might only have the one chance, the one small moment to really experience God and its spoiled by someone letting themselves and their own wants and feelings get in the way. So it begs the question, what sort of Christian experience are people get when they interact with you? It really hit home
(Atheist speaking.) Yeah man I totally get that. I deconstructed a few months ago, and the response I got from people at that church was not very friendly. I have now been able to go to another church instead, and ask questions there with people who know about the same philosophers as me. The problem is though that I just can’t wrap my head around why God would need to create hell, or how he can have two wills at once, or why he didn’t create this earth as heaven and just skip this step, or the contradictions, or the scientific inaccuracies… I could keep going lol.

I realize that you might have been just engaging in conversation and weren't actually asking my pov or anything, but I'd love to tell you how I understand it! God created us in his image, as an artist would. A world created so finely tuned that everything, from the complexity of anatomy to the incredibly fine and delicate balance between how the world interacts with each other, or between life and death. How he provides resources for needs, from food to water to medicine, right there for us. Yet it, scientifically, all just happened by chance? That we just got lucky? What are the odds of that truly? That we can even converse on intangible concepts, like expressions of love and loss, philosophy and imagination? Invisible, but still real and deeply felt. But God created us, and loves us all as His children. And like with any child, in your average family, while He knows what's best for us, we insist on doing things our way most of the time. And when we do things just by our own ways instead of listening to Him, we find we've made things harder for ourselves, or we've gotten ourselves into trouble. But He's not there to force us cuz He loves us and is there to support and guide us to the right path. It's like having chores. It can be a lot of work and daunting sometimes, but while I'd rather be doing fun distractions instead, I still gotta pick up my toys or do the dishes or else I could get hurt or sick. But at the end of the day I know that God created Earth and life as a place for us to play and live a little before we have to go Home. And while the devil created hell to vandalize God's art and hurt His children like the guy in a nondescript white van saying he has puppies or candy if we just go with him, God is always there to fight him off and keep us safe. I'm sorry if this is rambling or whatnot, and for a lot of metaphors, but I just wanted to share a little bit how I see it and that's just sorta the best way my brain can come up with to explain. Oddly I was not Christian but went to a church where we learned wisdom from all religions and I was a very spiritual/reverent person with an intuitive spirit. The non-gospel writings are usually a miss for me… Paul is very opinionated and his writings don’t make as much sense. I’ve read some Gnostic texts that were censored and those have helped me understand Christianity better than most churches do. Wisdom from God shines through many people and sources. At the root - these are all stories of the human experience so we may better understand ourselves. But to be taken literally raises my suspicion. I’ve never experienced anything supernatural or miraculous and if these things happened there’s not reason why they wouldn’t continue to happen. I’m content to resonate with wisdom where I find it with my spirit. And if it doesn’t feel right and doesn’t add up logically, then I leave it.
Personally I’m not the most religious person out there. But what baffles me is the number of so called “Christians” who never actually read the Bible in its entirety. Edit: I agree that reading the Bible isn’t what makes you Christian. But I find it amazing to see that there are so many people who will believe in Jesus and believe that the Bible is the word of God, believe that they need to live by the Word but not read it. I mean it is a fantastic read
The Devil was in HEAVEN when he sinned.. and committed GREAT TREASON. People not reading the Bible in its entirety doesn't show a lack of faith, the works is what's most Important
I am a Christian and have read the bible in its entirety and still love it more and more. But it is not the reading bible that saved me, it is the God of the Bible who did, through faith in the sacrifice of Christ Jesus at the cross. Out of gratitude and obedience, I was determined to read it and once I decided live my life according the bible, it changed my life. I used to think it would be hard to read, but no, NLT reads like a story, and it is fascinating.
@Free_Palestine_From_Hamas Friend, a Christian who did not read their bible used to think going to church every Sunday and only cracking it open during sermons.. that was me. Honestly, I thought I was a Christian, until I grew disillusioned and left. When I came back, I realized I never really knew the Lord, because I wasn't bible literate I had no idea I was listening to a false preacher, giving money for years! When I read the bible for myself, I quickly realized this God was not at all what I was listening to, the false preacher is Joseph Prince. Unfortunately, that church is the 2nd largest in Singapore, and the largest is ALSO a health and wealth church under another false preacher, so I really take reading the bible seriously to discern the truth, bc one can easily be deceived by a counterfeit when they don't know and study the real thing. So while I agree you don't need to have read the whole bible to be a Christian, one who loves God will also love His Word, plus the bible has such beautiful poetry, even for general reading it is excellent an piece of literature

I'm a Christian and I am a Sinner. I am a Labourer and I've lived the street life. Drugs and alcohol. I noticed that the Church was the only people who came downtown and helped us. I know Jesus now. I still look like a street person and some people in Church avoid me. That's ok. I talk about Jesus to people and in places that most Church people people would avoid. I consider it to be God's Will for me. Never judge Jesus by looking at His Followers. We're human and we sin and make mistakes. The only real difference between Secular people and Christians is that Christians know we're Sinners and are "Trying" in our faultering way to emulate Jesus.
I appreciate your comment. It feels more truthful than those saying well you have to have a relationship with God or Jesus. I'm a sinner too, but I want to be better. If I see someone in need I help the best I can because I know it's what I'm supposed to do. I think that's because I believe in Jesus and he showed me that. I don't go to church every Sunday, but I'm open to sitting with others and having discussions about the Bible, it's just not something I've scheduled into my daily life. I don't feel bad for that. I've learned a lot through Jesus despite not going to church every Sunday. Nature is another way I find Jesus.
Your testimony mate struck a cord with me also, Im a biker, wear a bandana etc, etc and it freaks some people out, but God uses my looks and how I dress to reach people many others in the church wouldn't, Gods good.
I agree with everything you said. I'm a tattooed "scary lookin" guy and am saved by faith in Jesus through grace. I would like to inject a biblical thought that is not taught correctly in most churches.. You may sin, but you are not a "sinner". When we are saved we become a Saint. Saints can sin.. but the enemy wants us to look at ourselves as "dirty sinners" because it puts us in a mindset that isnt productive to the Kingdom of God. To be a "sinner" means you have not been washed by the blood of Jesus.. we are saints that still make mistakes and put our faith in the grace of God to walk in forgiveness.

I hate seeing people here arguing about religion so much. Please people grow up and stop telling other people what is faith and what faith is the best. I didn't speak out on this matter for so many years because I was always afraid of it. To be honest, the topic of Christianity is still very difficult for me, almost like taboo. But I really feel like there are actually a lot of people who need to hear what I'm going to say. Faith was very important to me as a child, but only later did I understand that I believed it all simply out of fear (which later turned out to be a sin itself). Being afraid of God is not true faith. Going to church and confessing because someone forces you to do so, is not faith. We had religion lessons at school and I always fought for every minute to get through those because I simply couldn't listen to what the priest was saying. He was simply saying things that I disagreed with so much but I was afraid to speak up. And I couldn't withdraw from those lessons because I wanted to receive a document at the end entitling me to get married (I thought I might need it in the future and I didn't want to add to my problems). As a child, I felt even intimidated by religion, I didn't understand my sexuality then, and the only thing they told us was simple intimidation, at least through the eyes of a child. They said that revealing your body is the greatest sin in existence and if you have dirty thoughts, you are literally Satan. It was the only education I had on this matter. I often felt like the worst person in the world because of this, these remorse cannot even be described. I also actually hated going to church because instead of feeling safe there, it always spoiled my mood when I heard how ungrateful I was to God. There is so much stigmatization in the church, homophobia, in general some people there can really feel like they are God's greatest enemies. But that's not true. I also hated confession, I felt so incredibly uncomfortable that I always cried and just wanted to say some random sins as soon as possible and just get out of there. Only when I grew up did I understand how fucked up it all was. Now I know that faith is not all these procedures, but a relationship with God. I pray every day and confess to God when I feel the need, not to the random guy in the confessional. I also have a completely different view of sins. You are a human being after all and please remember that as long as you are kind to other people and know how to love and empathize then God will never forget about you. Also remember that most people who say they are Christians, really are not. If they are full of hatred they cannot call themselves Christians. People who love God also know that God loves everyone so they should too. Besides, now I am also a student of culture and I am involved in, among other things, Bible research. Sometimes I think that everyone should go to such classes and only then would they see things clearly. Guys, what they tell you in church or religion lessons at school is often not even similar to what is written in the Bible. There are many lies mostly because of the language. The original language of the Bible was often very difficult to translate, some words simply did not exist in other languages. So please don't believe everything you hear about God and faith. This is honestly such a vast topic that I wouldn't have enough space to write about it all. Anyway, my message is to everyone who feels the way I felt as a child - please do not be afraid of God, faith is not there to restrict you but so many people will tell you that it is. It is not. Faith is there so you can feel safe and loved. Also remember that faith is not everything, just be a good person and everything will be fine. Don't let other poeple tell you how to faith. Don't let them tell you that you are searching for excuses. You are not searching for excuses, you are simply trying to be happy as a human and live in harmony with yourself. I really hope this helped you ❤️
Praying for her. God actually gave me a dream about her last yr where she was singing at a church choir and completely submitted her life to Jesus. I really want this to come to pass.
By her saying “I did the church thing.” She definitely just showed up but never sat there and truly listened. She never did her own Bible study. She just acted out and showed up and then left. I know many Christians who watch Harry Potter but it’s you who should know wrong from right. Doesn’t mean you go praising witchcraft. Just know that’s not what you believe. You don’t have to act like oh, this is horrible I’m leaving my religion because they are against everything.
The thing is, by watching those things you are basically playing with the devil. And he is much more clever than you are, he will trick you and you'll end up in a really bad spot. It's best not to even be apart of those things so as to not tempt yourself to sin.
@@TyshkevichYou can draw that logic how far you want though. "You shouldn't ever hang out with the opposite sex, because it can tempt you" Maybe you should learn some self-control as well, it's one of the fruits of the Spirit. Since you know the bible so much.... "it's not what goes into your body that defiles you. You are defiled by what comes from your heart" jesus said this..... now before you say he was talking about food, I urge you to do a little more "studying" and you will find out that he's talking about the spirit within. Ariana suffers from what most of the world suffers from, which is idolatry. She didn't like the god of the Catholics and decided to make her own, in her own and to her own likeness.
i wouldn’t say she didn’t like the god but she doesn’t even have a clue who he is. i bet she couldn’t even fathom what Christ has said throughout the gospels i mean they’re enough to make a grown man cry and i doubt she even has a clue other than “die for sins” which sounds bland to non religious people instead of looking at other texts where it is much deeper. bet she doesn’t even know many of the things said on the cross either. but pray for her
I don't like the god of the Catholics either. It's either bread, a doll, or a picture of Cesare Borgia. I worship the one true God, Jesus Christ, who died once and not every Sunday, who is not a statue hanging dead on a cross but is risen.
They don't have to if they don't want to. You don't even need an excuse to leave Christianity. Not everyone needs to be a Christian or follow another religion. Just shut up.
They follow the devil look up Ryan Garcias (keep in mind he’s a famous boxer) exposing video on the other famous people in the acting industry and music industry they all praise the devil and there is multiple of other Jeffrey Epstein islands he said that Jeffrey’s rich friends own
Most of them have sold their soul. Look at one of Ariana’s songs played backwards. You can credit the bad man for her rise to fame. Just like Ice Spice.
But you must pray to the right God to be answered...Jesus prayed to His Father Yehowah (YHWH)..Matt.6:9,10, John 17:25,26, Psalms 83:18 KJV...Jesus (Hebrew: Yehoshua means "Yehowah is salvation")😊
Sometimes I wonder if fame in entertainment, sports, politics, or business drastically reduces your chances of salvation. I'm always amazed at the sheer ignorance of these people when they say 'homophobic'. Doesn't that imply being afraid of homosexuality? We're not afraid. We just disagree. That's not homophobic.
Homophobia is less a fear and more of a dislike towards the alphabet gang. Christians don't hate the person; rather we hate the sin. Then we point them to Jesus, but they'll say no because IDENTITY. It's as if genital preference is the only thing that defines them.
Saying people who disagree with homosexuality are 'homophobic' is a tactic to make it seem like those who disagree are disordered, or have some sort of internal problem. It's an attempt to put stigma on those who disagree.
Fear is the opposite of love. "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
@@robertdouglas8895 Fear is the opposite of faith. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." (Ps 23:4). Pride is the opposite of love. That's what made Satan fall, and it's selfish while love is selfless (1Cor 13:4-7). Love compels us to SERVE; the arrogant deem themselves too important to serve.
Please pray for her Ari. Don't just Judge. She has one the most beautiful and talented voices. Can you imagine when she finds Jesus. What that will do to the world 🌎. The influence. The shift. The songs she would write FOR God. Pray
If she becomes a Christian she won't be famous anymore. At best you might get a few celebrities who keep their Christianity secret, or are Christians in name only.
This sort of thinking is very problematic and kinda shows a lack of understanding of the things of God. Scripture is proof that God doesn't usually go for the best. He uses the weak to confound the strong, the foolish to confound the wise (etc) and doesn't really need the "beauty" of Arianna's voice. God, can use the a person with the ugliest voice to His glory, so pls stop with this mindset of because she has a good voice, then she's the perfect fit. Gods ways are not our ways
♥️♥️♥️ I hear you and I believe everyone is redeemable. However, Hollywood is MUCH darker than what most people realize. It’s Satan’s playground where much of the brainwashing and de-moralizing of common society begins. The majority of people look at the patterns in media and TV, apps, celebrity culture etc as a blueprint for what’s acceptable, which anything and everything is acceptable these days. The mindless scrolling and infiltrating everyone’s minds… It’s extremely difficult, near impossible for “A-list celebrities” like Ariana to break free from the cult. You don’t reach this level of fame without serving Satan himself. Did you know that in order to even secure such a high level of fame, they very literally sell their soul to Satan…? It’s not a joke, it’s not a conspiracy theory. Its been proven and celebrities have admitted it, you can look up clips of Beyoncé, Rihanna, sam smith, etc etc… Katy Perry straight out said that she didn’t make it in gospel music, so she “sold her soul to the devil.” It’s required to make it that far in Hollywood. And those celebrities become the idols, worshipped by the world… extensions of Satan being worshipped, a culture taken over by idolatry! Once a little taste of fame has come, the producers say “I will make you extremely famous if you agree to sell your soul to the devil.” There are tons of interviews out there from “one hit wonders” in music, and actresses etc who all share the SAME testimony. Once that door is open, the demonic activity takes over. There will be no desire in them for Jesus.

When I actually repented and sought God I began to have prophetic dreams and visions and I pretty much was born again in my sleep, I woke up quickly out of bed eyes wide bumped my head on the bunk above me (fishing boat) and my face was whitewashed as my captain informed me and I felt like my head and shoulders was enveloped by the presence of God, like a spiritual cloud of the Fear of the Lord. My life has never been the same. God is very real, he is holy, and Jesus is the only way. God is Love 1 John 4:8

@bluewhitebluewhite7429 I challenge you to an experiment. Go to a small non denomination church. Take some bible classes and ask a lot of questions. Without the bias. If even one question is answered... maybe it's worth asking another.
🤔 I wonder if people realize that when they say "I'm not religious - I'm spiritual" they're openly admitting that they've fallen into a consortium with demons. If you're not _for_ God, then you're _against_ Him; there is no middle ground; and the only thing left for a person when they've rejected the Father, Son & Holy Spirit, is the demonic realm. Oh it's "spiritual", alright. They'll spirit you away right into hell.
Wow... so those kids born in North Korea who legitimately could not have heard of Christianity due to, well, North Korea should go to hell. I hope to God you're hearing yourself right now.
That would not be loving and that would be anti-biblical and it would just support when people call Christians hypocrites. That would be a hypocritical thing to do. How many of us have gotten something at Starbucks and said oh my gosh that was wonderful and shared it with everyone do we get offended at that? No. So when Christians fall in love with the word and want to share it, we're called preachy, that were condemning people, that we hate people. It's wrong and it's condemnation in the other direction all while others don't see it. We cannot wait to make right with God only if everyone else becomes right first. That's ridiculous. So why would that'd be a good idea to judge other Christians before we judge non-christians. Jesus never said in the Bible that he was coming for the perfect Christians. He said he was coming for the believers. So even a hypocritical Christian stands to go to heaven before a non-believer. We are saved by grace and for what Jesus did not for what we do. And thank God for that because we all judge, Christian and non-Christian. If anyone has told you different then they are wrong and I am sorry. Man-made religion is not the same as scripture. If we just all looked into the Bible for answers, we would be better off. Remember Jesus came to Earth to establish who God was and how we get there, not to create religion. He wants relationship with you more than religion. Please don't let overly religious people steer you away. I wish you a blessed day

My wife and I met when we were 20 and we have been together for 9 years. And for 9 years I have prayed that she comes to know Christ. It took 9 years for her to start to feel comfortable with going to church again. All because she had the faith weaponized against her by an ex who happened to be the son of a preacher. I never pushed the issue super hard because I had to allow for grace and for the holy Spirit to work. Ppl in church used to flat out embarrass me and publicly humiliate me, I was always a victim of church hurt and ppl being so rude and cruel to me But I knew God, and I knew the difference between what God does and what ppl do Even when I was living in my sin without care, I knew and loved God; I knew what I was doing was wrong. But I knew how ppl thought abt me and treated me, and I used to ask God “How can I possibly be saved when ppl treat me this way, they don’t even want to save me💔” But now I’m in a position to where I’m fully living for God, and I learned from what I went through. I try not to be judgmental towards ppl, and just try to correct them lovingly. I try to let them know that I understand cuz u was in their position; I share my stories and experiences, and make them feel comfortable to open up to me if they wish. Correction doesn’t feel Good, but you gotta do it in Love. Do it how God does It; love while they are still in the mess; respect the PERSON NOT the SIN. I feel you man. I learnt it the same way. I understood that there is huge difference between believers and God himself since God is perfect and God is love. But humans are imperfect and not always loving and kind. It is very important to know the difference between them.
I hate seeing people here arguing about religion so much. Please people grow up and stop telling other people what is faith and what faith is the best. I didn't speak out on this matter for so many years because I was always afraid of it. To be honest, the topic of Christianity is still very difficult for me, almost like taboo. People who love God also know that God loves everyone so they should too. Besides, now I am also a student of culture and I am involved in, among other things, Bible research. @@blackcurrant3I agree with you with some things. I felt scared to sin. But now that I am an adult, I am so glad I didn’t disobey God’s laws. I’ve been with one man, who is now my husband. I am embarrassed of how socially awkward I was at times, but with God I don’t feel awkward. Being like the world guides you to be doesn’t make you happy. In the end, God made the 10 commandments because they fulfill you as a person. Respect your parents, don’t use God’s name in vain, treat your neighbor as you wish he treated you, don’t still, kill, or be an adulterer. It’s all things you can be proud to not have done. God says fear me, not the world. Because the wrath of God is the ultimate suffering. We respect, love, and fear him, because He has told us the consequences of our wrong actions. No one is perfect, and we naturally sun, but God knows how we truly feel in our heart, and how we work hard at not sinning. I hope you feel better now when you go to church. The church is more of an example of what to do and what not to do. Humans are imperfect. So to put them on such a pedestal is a failure already. Jesus is the only perfect one.
@@remaks8405No. The mistakes of men are not the mistakes of God. We have our own free will. He does not make us do anything against our will. God is perfect and His gospel is perfect. Members of any church, whether they're Catholic, Lutheran, Mulism, part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, etc. are not perfect. They can represent God, but only if they are obedient to Him. God's greatest commandments are to love Him with all your might, mind, and strength and to love everyone. My testimony: I never always used to believe like I do now. I actually used to get bullied throughout my entire school and I lacked so much self esteem. I started sleeping around with so many men searching for love because I wasn't accepted at school. I slept around so much and even ended up touching drugs after i lost my mum and i had the drugs anytime I could get it which wasn't very often because I knew nobody it was from men on dating apps I'd jump straight into their cars and have sex with them for the drugs most the time at their place. Until I touched meth I had a drug induced psychosis which lasted for 7 months. I believe that the devil came to me disguised before that time and showed me a video which I was reliving in the drug induced psychosis it made me go crazy. I gained alot of weight and everything the video said came to life for eg the video said I would have body issues and I was having body issues. It was insanity. All up for 4 years including the drug induce psychosis i suffered I had gotten diagnosed with ocd, psychosis and depression. I thought I was stuck in a game and I couldn't stop thinking that what if I forget the game and I go back to the game. The "game" being the drugs I drove myself crazy my brain didn't switch off I prayed for 4 years. Because the guy said those exact words when he showed me the video which led up to the drug induce psychosis about the game. I kept thinking I was going to kill my family for 4 years so I thought I was going to kill myself in order not to kill anyone. There were 2 dreams. The first dream being that jesus said to be your not going to kill your family keep taking your medication your going to get better. Then I kept taking it in real life and then it was improving but I was fed up with the intrusive thoughts and I fought for god. But one night I had given up and I subconsciously went out to look for the devil cos I had enough. This guy picked me up in a car and I went to his house were I had 6 drugs and then this guy I just had sex with his face started to shift into all the men I'd ever slept with saying it was him and I kept apologising saying I was a good person I shouldn't of touched drugs but I never apologised to god and the devil had control of my mind through the drugs and suddenly the room turned red and my fears came to life it started to become brighter and brighter red and I saw a man with a cloak and wooden stick a bald ugly man. And he was smiling at me with this evil smile like he was gonna suck the living shit out of my soul. And I saw creation being destroyed and these red hills. I said in my head that I was in utter disbelief that I was going to hell. That I'd hold my bible all the way down to hell and I said in my head god I'm sorry. Then afew moments later light entered the room. The devil was still around that guy and I ran from him out to the streets naked. And I went to hospital and they said I had a drug induced psychosis but I knew what I experienced was real and I still believe it to this day because about 1 month after jesus came to me in a dream when I felt like giving up and all hopes were lost and he gave me gods vaccine and said in the dream "doctors don't know everything" and I saw him stand with his arms out on the cross and life and creation flash before my eyes of beautiful marvellous things. Then I woke up and all the evil was gone. No more ocd. No more psychosis. No more. I didn't think I was going to kill people anymore my brain was stronger than ever :) I just thought I'd share my journey with you. Yes I grew up christian but i never really gave myself to christ. but after for a long time I considered myself spiritual and was even into astrology but I've given that all up for christ now. I just thought you should hear me out. Jesus loves you if you choose to believe my testimony that's on you :)
Praise the Lord! He never gave up on you, what a wonderful story❤ Just imagine the celebration going on right now in Heaven because the devil didn’t win! Welcome home😊
That's what religion is. No Christian in the first 1900 years of Christianity would say they aren't a part of a religion. Non-denominational Christianity has removed all substance from our beautiful and ancient Christian Religion.
@@jd3jefferson556 There was no denominations at the beginning. Although the church as a whole did not experience any major divisions for centuries afterward, the Eastern and Western groups drifted until the point where patriarchs from both families excommunicated one another in about 1054 in what is known as the Great Schism. While religion consists of the activities we do to make ourselves right with God and others, having a personal relationship with Christ means we know we can never do anything to truly make ourselves right before Him. God is not impressed by our religious activity, but He is well-pleased by His Son.

“…so I became more spiritual” She knows there’s a need for spirituality, but she’s received the lie that she doesn’t need Christ. God open her eyes and soften her heart. 🙏🏼
I’m not denying that Christianity is a great lifestyle to live, and I overall respect Christianity. I respect all the teachings of the many religions in this world. But you and I can’t deny that you can live life perfectly fine with or without religion.
I was raised an atheist, but it was my desire to find the truth that led me to acknowledge the limits of human knowledge and necessity of faith. It was my interest in history that led me to regard Christ as the person of God in the world. It is the orthodox faith that has fed me the truth.
Being Christian is about your relationship with God. Period. That means no one, including you, can tell me otherwise or to do anything that I do not want to.
It’s not religion that saves you. It’s a personal relationship with Jesus. He loves you ❤ Edit: Just to clarify, faith is what saves you, but it needs to be real faith-which is where the relationship part comes in. Jesus should mean something to you, and it should change you. It should make you want to do good deeds. (James 2:14-26) You need to worship Him with full sincerity-“in spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24). Religious actions and rituals do not save you. You do need to be changed or “born again” though (John 3:3). Remember these verses: Matthew 7:21-23: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” God is always here for you and will always help you through any tough times. He can forgive you for anything if you come back to Him and repent. He loves you. He wants you. Don’t ever think that it’s hopeless. May the Lord be with you ❤ Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
True about Jesus. But where's the accountability among Christians? If Christians persecute gays in Africa, and if Christians support America's endless wars, then it's Christians themselves who are to blame when Christianity gets a bad rap among gays or among folks who abhor the Palestinian genocide. I can imagine Jesus saying to himself, "With friends like these American Christians, who needs enemies?"
What he said at the end is spot on, he got it exactly right. Being spiritual and knowing God the Father ultimately means believing in Christ the Son. Don’t believe just anything that you hear a “religious” oligarch say here on Earth. Read the word, (the Bible - God’s word), and read about God’s love and know Him for yourself.
The only way to the Father is through Jesus. He is the way, the truth and the life. He died for your sins so that you can live for eternity in paradise with God.
By believer, do you mean that you live your life in what you think is a Godly manner? Or is it just something you say with nothing behind it? Do you just live your life as you want with no regard to any biblical principles? Either way, it means nothing to God. We cannot, as people with our many weaknesses, ever do enough to achieve the kingdom of God. God will not be surrounded by sin. The only way we can achieve the kingdom of God is through acceptance and faith in Jesus Christ. He paid the ultimate price for our sins, rose from the dead, conquered death, and will stand with us as the sacrifice for our sins. But we must believe in him and live according to his teachings. And the greatest command is to love one another. Jesus' blood is our redemption.
I love your comment @alessadolan5718. Most of the other comments were a perfect example of one of the reasons why people are moving away from Christianity and more towards spirituality. You haven't commented or said one single thing about how you live your life, only what you believe. Yet you've had several people questioning how you live and what you do in your life, like they will be the ones answering to God for it. So much judging.

A relationship with God that carries rules and regulations, which is what makes it a...religion.

That is the truth... Jesus calls us to be born again Christians...
You Must Be Born Again
3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
@lordoftheflies7024
It is not rules and regulations... it is a way of life.

(Atheist speaking.)
Yeah man I totally get that.
@@flyinggyrados4591 I understand, truly. I'm sorry they made you feel unwelcome, if I understood correctly. And really, who DOESN'T question things like that? We all do, even the most devout. We're simply human.
I'll be honest, I would not have answers to every question about Christianity. God and I are reconnecting after years of a long distance relationship you could say. Really, a better source for in depth questions might be found more so in a man named Cliffe Knechtle, if you're interested.
Idk.

I go to a Christian church now that mostly teaches Jesus’ teachings which I appreciate. But to say one religion or another was a greater benefit to my relationship with Creation and God/Great Spirit… or to be a better person, well that would be a lie. The Dao De Ching has a lot of parallels with Christianity, as does Buddhism. I’ve studied Jewish Kabbalah to better understand the Torah in that I can (not knowing Hebrew) which better informs the New Testament as understood by Jewish people at the time.

Look to Jesus and not so called “Christians” as your example. When we all stand before God, and we will, this excuse will not hold water.

I'm always amazed at the sheer ignorance of these people when they say 'homophobic'. Doesn't that imply being afraid of homosexuality? We're not afraid. We just disagree. That's not homophobic.
They're not ignorant im that sense, they know it's just a useful smear.

The mindless scrolling and infiltrating everyone’s minds…
It’s extremely difficult, near impossible for “A-list celebrities” like Ariana to break free from the cult.

This guys right. It’s really sad to see so many people deciding that Christianity is bad because of their experiences. I’m a Christian and I know for sure that there is so much hypocrisy in the churches and very judgmental people. It’s also frustrating to watch people explain why they’re not Christian’s because people messed up introducing them to God’s Word or because it doesn’t align with their flesh’s wants.
Yet I have always felt so bad and angry that her perception of something that is the most beautiful thing in the world is wrapped because of some dbag.

Ppl in church used to flat out embarrass me and publicly humiliate me, I was always a victim of church hurt and ppl being so rude and cruel to me
But I knew God, and I knew the difference between what God does and what ppl do
Even when I was living in my sin without care, I knew and loved God; I knew what I was doing was wrong.
But I knew how ppl thought abt me and treated me, and I used to ask God “How can I possibly be saved when ppl treat me this way, they don’t even want to save me💔”
But now I’m in a position to where I’m fully living for God, and I learned from what I went through.

I am embarrassed of how socially awkward I was at times, but with God I don’t feel awkward. Being like the world guides you to be doesn’t make you happy. Respect your parents, don’t use God’s name in vain, treat your neighbor as you wish he treated you, don’t still, kill, or be an adulterer. It’s all things you can be proud to not have done. Very true. They look at the failures of the church as a failure of God. And that couldn’t be further from the truth.
This doesn’t matter though as the church represents God and religion as a whole
The church is more of an example of what to do and what not to do. Humans are imperfect. So to put them on such a pedestal is a failure already. Jesus is the only perfect one.
@@Striker-hv6ekso if a priest in a church suddenly decides to burn the church down for no reason, does that represent god?
@@remaks8405No. The mistakes of men are not the mistakes of God. We have our own free will. He does not make us do anything against our will. God is perfect and His gospel is perfect. My testimony:
I never always used to believe like I do now.

It's not about religion it's about a relationship with Jesus Christ
Can't have a relationship with a dead guy.

Christianity is believing that Jesus is god and rose from the dead.
you dont need religions to know what is righ or wrong 😂 to be good or bad @@markthomas7279
Christianity is different than being "spiritual"
It’s not religion that saves you. It’s a personal relationship with Jesus. He loves you ❤
Edit: Just to clarify, faith is what saves you, but it needs to be real faith-which is where the relationship part comes in.
Away from me, you evildoers!’”
God is always here for you and will always help you through any tough times. He can forgive you for anything if you come back to Him and repent. He loves you. He wants you. Don’t ever think that it’s hopeless. May the Lord be with you ❤
Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
❤
❤❤❤
Amen!
Wait christ takes virginity of Christians 🤣🤣🤣
Read the word, (the Bible - God’s word), and read about God’s love and know Him for yourself.
i'm not a christians, but i am a strong God believer. i think the most important thing is the relationship with God.
