i think it's funny when we stop straightening or relaxing our hair and completely natural; that we discover the beauty in our hair texture. if you were told all the time how nappy or rough your hair is all your life, just to go natural as an adult and learn to manage your hair. Seek the truth. This was a wow factor for me.

Jamie Fortenberry no no no! I'm mixed and I have an almost white girl skin tone (olive) and I found that it is more prone to acne, and when i blush, you can see it. nonetheless, i love my skin, and you should love yours too. you are beautiful, and we are all made the way we are for a reason.

Ladii_xoxo yesssss !!!! I'm convinced that finger coils brought my curls back! Unfortunately, I don't think it'll work on type 4 hair, but it's a dream on type 2/3 hair!

Katherine Grullon I thought I did but finger massaging my hair works just as well maybe even better because the natural oils in your skin help the growth.
I have to keep re wetting my hair because it starts to dry as I'm finger coiling. It's so annoying lol. That's high porosity hair for ya lol 😂

Grace Kodia I always do, I really think the frizz has a lot more to do with the high porosity of my hair. Moisture leaves my hair really fast so it makes it hard to find good products that will actually keep it moisturizer without feeling super greasy or crunchy
Try doing it in the shower I've noticed that works best for me.
You should use a leave-in specifically made for high porosity hair. There are videos on these products.
Use a spray bottle. I got one at five below for two bucks.
looove finger coils but they never end up working for me 😫

I believe that's the same reason mine fails too. lol my curls are only good for wash n gos twist outs and braid outs

10 months into my no heat curly hair journey finger coiling is really a life changer for me too. I feel like if I had tried it earlier, it wouldn't have worked, but now I can see coils and definitely less frizz so I highly recommend this to everyone and thank you so much for making this video and showing how to do it properly🤗😘

I loved this video!! I'm about to do this right now! I just tried a wash and go yesterday with some new products and liked the results but i didn't use a leave in under the gel so now my hair is feeling dry. I'm going to sort of refresh my curls with this routine and hopefully they'll be soft and looking right for my video that i'm filming tomorrow. For valentines day Im going to buy some flowers and go out and give them to random people!
I did the big chop, I still have armpit length hair but its relaxed. My hair has grown 3 inches so far and watching your videos are helping mw not be so impatient!

I had no idea there was a way to make your curls go back to their natural pattern, i was convined i was just going to have to slowly cut my hair off little by little thanks so much im definitely going to try this.

I love Eden's curl defining cream!! Works wonders with my hair when I mix it with Garnier's sleek and shine leave in. I use bounce curl for special occasions (so expensiiiiiveeee)

I was using dove shampoo which I now realize was terrible for my hair, and no styling creams---I switched to devacurl(as recommended in your previous vid). I followed this routine and my hair has absolutely transformed from lifeless waves to bouncy curls. Thanks a ton!!!
