How to do a clean sweep of your SD card:
Tip #1. Use Disk Utility
Hit Command-Space and enter Disk Utility.
Select your SD card from the left sidebar.
Click Erase.
Choose the ExFAT format for 64GBs and higher or MS-DOS(FAT) for 32GBs and lower.
Hit Erase.
Tip #2. Use SD Card Association Formatter
Hit Command-Space and enter SD Card Formatter
Make sure your SD Card is selected and click Format.

Go to System Junk and run a scan.

Tip #3. Use Terminal
Open Terminal.
Enter this command: diskutil list
Find the name of your SD card and the identifier on the list
Now, type in this command: diskutil list reformat (identifier name)
