That was so delightful to watch, this is one of my all-time favorite movies of all time. What a magical moment in movie history. This movie captured every feeling
In the book, it makes it clear that Idgie is gay and Ruth is bisexual. The writer decided to tone it down in the film, but you can draw your own conclusions.
Nah they're absolutely a couple. The author (Fannie Flagg), MSM, and Mary-Louise Parker all campaigned for it to be more obvious in the movie but the producers wouldn't let them go there. I met MSM about a year ago and asked her about it and she said she and MLP absolutely played it as if they were madly in love with each other and pushed the boundaries as much as the producers would allow. It's one of the great examples that you don't need to show me two people kissing on screen to know that they're in love.
thank you for ur lesbian service!

False advertising, no lesbians. It has Mary Stuart Masterson, though, so 5 stars. Just visited the filming location (Juliette, GA) today!
You’re not smart!
