By the way, I grew up out in the Maryland countryside, where the farmer next door grew tomatoes! I've had fried tomatoes many, many times in my life! Mostly fried red-ripe tomatoes, and milk gravy! But as an adult, I've also had fried green tomatoes, and they are yummy!
Those 2 are 2 of my fav actors EVA !! And fried green tomatoes is 30 years old!! My god, Mary-Louise is STILL acting, and looks more beautiful as she ages !!

This was one of the best movies ever made. So many relatable characters, .ironic the actresses didn’t eat fried food and played characters that did. Fried food is such a southern delicacy when cooked with good ingredients and done right.

The movie reminds me of Forrest Gump. Both are hard to watch in that one has the KKK & the other the Vietnam War. Love both, but always feel melancholy afterwards.
