Don’t listen to this guy lmao. There’s 2 tabs bigger than the rest on the inside. Push those tabs inward then pull the grill out. Just spent 15 minutes trying to figure this out on my E36 🤣

Don’t listen to the f**l
You do have to open the bonnet , take out the screws and realise the clips to pry it open. You can’t just grab and pull. One you might destroy the holders which need to hold your new grill but it’s even impossible cos we tried it
