This young kid comes in and he's polished. This makes Eric feel like a young guy again. He's always seemed very polite and proper. That's because he's always as good or better than the other players. He's never threatened. A killer comes in and he's gonna sit up in his seat and drive with both hands. Love to see that dynamic.

What a phenomenal moment in time with these two superb guitarists both playing leads back and forth and in tandem. Not so much a duel but totally complimentary to one another. What a privilege to those who were there to experience this. We get the experience here. What a night.

We are so blessed to not only see it at home, fully mixed for sound, in our own personal ear phones or audio system. To have these two men on the same stage is like having Ice Cream and Cake of the highest caliber for your dessert!!!!

Joe tells a story about this where he was little-kid-nervous about inviting Eric to come and see him play at Albert Hall -- not because it was Albert Hall, but because Eric had done such an ep[ic performance there. He said he would have played at some pub if Eric had playered there as well. Eric accepting the invite. Joe said Eric's support essentially endorsed Joe as a player. Joe was sop gracious about Eric, and Eric was gracious in return. This is what sports calls sportsmanship. We all stand on the shoulders of those who have come before us.
