Joe is one of those musicians, that you will enjoy his performance from the first second to the last one. And this is very rare these days with new music
Some of the finest musicians and singers on the planet, Joe has the knack of getting the best to play with him. RIP to Michael Rhodes the Bass player who passed away earlier this year.
I hope that the lucky people who are attending Joe Bonamassa's concert tonight in Carcassone in the south of France are going to enjoy themselves at his concert tonight 18/08/23 !!!
NOOOOOOO!!! I didn't know! Bright side, he isn't affected by politics anymore. That bass line is what got me to pick up a bass again as a 22 year veteran of the Six-String-Brigade. Rest easy!
I met Joe in Greensboro a few years back, very humble and almost shy type of guy was my impression., but when he’s on stage, playing his heart out , he becomes a totally different person, fantastic performer and guitarist. One thing for sure, he needs a strap for those glasses he wears on stage , the man’s all into his art , and so am I .
BB, Freddie, Eric, Toy, Carlos, Beck, Paige, Angus Young, Gilmour, Stevie Ray, Knopfler, Duane Allman,Townsend, Leslie West and anyone I may have missed but this guy is such a perfectionist! He doesn’t miss a note and his precision of play is impeccable.
I agree, but don't forget about Edward Van Halen in that list of the greatest blues players ever. Eddie has always had incredible blues licks, often as the bedrock for his rhythm guitar. Joe is phenomenal, and the future of the blues lies heavily on Joe's shoulders!
The tone of that Flying V, and the entire band. Reese, the horn section, drummer, backup singers, perfection!Joe B is amazing, every time, period! If this doesn’t get your blood pumping, there’s no hope honey! 😂 🔥❤
System won't allow for a thousand thumbs ups for this performance, otherwise I would . My goodness those back up singers give us the goosebumps , they are from a different planet, ....WOW.... .. .
Just when I think Joe has taken me to the moon, he comes up with this song. Now I'm flying to Mars. And it's not just him, it's every member of the band. The three female singers are brilliant too. Where did you find such perfection? WOW. WOW. WOW.
Good analogy. The only difference is I think that Joe will actually surpass SRV and that says a LOT!! And it's strictly a humble, untalented, blues loving RN's opinion from the Chicago area.
This generation, I was pushing this guy while I was still buying Stevie, while his voice has improved with the help of Beth, he has been a complete guitar player for a couple of gens now
If you watch his very strong and deliberative vibrato that goes horizontal as well as the more typically vertical, it's as expressive as it is technically pure.
I imagine him showing up to my front door in full suit with a sledgehammer and wearing sunglasses even though its dark outside, with one of his nastiest guitar faces he does .........but still talkin the same as he usually does but instead being modest ..i get musically scalded "i see you have an epiphone les paul ....made in korea" ....."well looks like thats getting broken" -joe says ......ik joe wouldnt do that but gotdamn that would b one for the books
New generation, old generation style . His blues hit the mark I'm 63 and I have listened to blues and rock mu whole life , I just love how that flying v growls when he slides.
JB isn't even close to Warren Haynes & Gov't Mule when it comes to soul. Sometimes to many notes can just ruin a song, plus Joe has nowhere near the voice that Warren or SRV had for the Blues. JMO.
Thanks Joe . As years goes by you are becoming not just the best guitarist of blues/blues rock in the World but your attitude (physical and facial ) in the the stage is completly transformed on an artist that dominate that place as a truly Master. Long Live to you , for the joy you bring to all of your fans .
Love the look the keyboard man throws at him at 6:38 after he nailed that solo - its like he said "dayum son" with that look - love looking for the non-verbal communication that goes on between bandmates !
The horn section & my personal favourite, Reese Wynans on keys, really puts the polish on this. Have a listen to the horns punching the groove through Joes solo's. Fuckin fantastic.
I’ve listened to the greatest but this guy is the Mount Everest of them all. Joe makes the guitar sing. Please listen to Joe play with Warren Haynes in the King of Blues 2011. Dueling blues guitars in this video is truly the best!
My father is 62 years old and he played this on a 12 string at a cook out today and I've never been so proud of my pop,, I'm 13 and he freaked people out with this song he had old woman tapping there toes lol
Joe Bonamassa is the baddest man on the planet. His suit and guitar, I love it! Such tasty licks, phenomenal playing & unbelievable tone. The band & gorgeous backup singers Mahalia Barnes, Jade MacRae, Juanita Tippins , doesn't get much better than this.
I was introduced to him almost a year ago. Where have I been, missing out on his pure talents? I'm in love with his style, songs and pure entertainment. He does remind me of SRV❤
Plug this tune in... Crank it bout 3/4 on some outrageous speakers and see if that don't bring back a heartbeat . I got goosebumps man !!!! Outrageously awesome tune. Thank you Joe.

Joe Bonamassa's touch on the guitar is incredible, and the bands use of dynamics is top notch.
God help us. This man can play the blues.
Bonamassa's playing here is fantastic.
Some of the finest musicians and singers on the planet, Joe has the knack of getting the best to play with him. RIP to Michael Rhodes the Bass player who passed away earlier this year.

Great Joe Bonamassa Deep and Old Blues
“Joe Bonamassa “ is my last wish before I leave this world to see him live!!!
I sincerely hope your wish will come true. Me too. ❤
I've seen him 9 times. In Indy Gf and I were 2 rows back from stage. Think I saw sparks coming from his guitar in one rift. . ..just amazing!
Wow this is real music!
Joe Bonamassa is not just a god of guitar ,he can sing as well.
This song hits his sweet spot for sure.
You set sail with Joe ( Mr fingers) and you may not get back….he’s da man !!
We are blessed to be living in this time of Joe.

I realize Im kind of randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to stream newly released movies online?
No doubt about it.

To the great guitar 🎸🎸☺️
I hope that the lucky people who are attending Joe Bonamassa's concert tonight in Carcassone in the south of France are going to enjoy themselves at his concert tonight 18/08/23 !!!
Joe has the cleanest licks as any blues player alive today! Juanita, Jade and Mahalia are blues angels!
Yes, he does keep it clean always.
Yes, that's BB King, made over behind the Eric, Clapton he was a good example,
Great Aussie girls🇦🇺

Schöner kann Blues nicht sein ❤
Sorry, but how does anyone give this music a thumbs down?!
On another place where people post this video, I seen a negative reviews because of the lyrics they say it's wrong to break up someone's home LOL😅😅
The very BEST Blues Guitarist alive.
Possibly the Best period
⁰
Possibly but without a doubt the most appreciative
Eric Clapton deferred to JB..at The Royal Albert Hall...Damn that was Epic!
@@kennethpatterson7732 I’d have to put SRV, Page and few others above him. The greatest living guitarist, I won’t disagree :)
His live performances are so good. I cant understand wwhy people hate on good music.
R.I.P Michael Rhoades.he was one of the best bass players out there.I will miss your heart beat.and the heartbeat you left in music aroooo

I can't believe I've never commented on how great of a job everybody did on this song like all the others .Great band .

He's this generation's SRV. Perfect pitch, chops for days and no pretension at all, just cool.
Agreed! He is spectacular and is the guitar/blues man of this generation!!
Not really SRV. No one can compare to SRV, but yeah Joe is fantastic. I love his shows
Good analogy. The only difference is I think that Joe will actually surpass SRV and that says a LOT!! And it's strictly a humble, untalented, blues loving RN's opinion from the Chicago area.
