Yes he will be . He was and still is a great performer he and Lemmy are up there with Dio and Bon and Malcolm and George Young. and many others to come and who have passed alongside Tina and many more.
Frank ain’t even looking at the drums lol. This power trio will be missed. I remember buying Eliminator in the 80’s and wanting to show my dad how cool I was and show him this new band I found. He broke out his 70’s vinyls of them. Showed me I hadn’t found anything new. I could never one up the old man. Even tried it with Maiden. Same thing. 😂
Love how this goes from a blues song to a special kind of ZZ Top rock. Dusty had a unique way of adding the bottom. He will really be missed. He had a special talent.
ewoe21 your comment is right on man. When I watched him play I was pretty close and the simplicity or economy I should say was mind blowing. Got home and tried it. I realized I got a long way to go lol 😁
50 years on & STILL the SAME Trio kicking it....NO egos here No bullshit just the Vintage sound of that "Lil Ole Band From Texas"..... Tres Hombres MAS FINO!!@@
I’ll have AC/DC Black Sabbath Dio all the way thru to ZZ Top from my wedding to my funeral (if I have a wedding) and since I don’t and never want too have kids? My nephew he will know who his auntie admires.
I started listening to ZZ Top when they released Tres Hombres and now Dusty is gone. Damn where did the time go. We all have that date, but how does it get here so fast. Rip Dusty Hill.....
My favorite Guitar player. From the first time on the Radio hearing Lagrange back in 1973. Billy was my favorite. He is a Tone Monster. I had a Fender small amp. I am like how does he gets the Huge tone? i had played through many Marshalls but none sounded like Billy. I saved enough money to but a used 1969 50 Watt Marshall. Gave big money for this Amp back in the day. I think it was $800 for just the Head. I still have it.
I love how Frank closes his eyes whenever he plays without glasses. I am so proud and honored to call Frank one of my heroes. Thank you Frank for teaching me how to play drums right. You made my childhood freaking amazing
I've listened to this over and over and have come to the conclusion that ZZ Top needs to put out new versions of their first five albums (as a box set )
It would be nice to have a box set of all of their live concerts, some people that love their music just can't make it to their concerts because of physical disabilities and chronic pain. ✌
Iam 64 and been listening to these 3 guys from the beginning . Never gets old. Billy's tone and style cant be duplicated and Dusty is the coolest bassist on the planet and frank ? Frank dosent get his due. Their geneous is their simplicity and the blues in their blood.
Dusty, Don't Rest in Peace. Get to heaven and join that fabulous band up there waiting for you. Get after it and tear it up. We want to hear you from down here. We loved and love you. I will sorely miss you. Peace, love and ZZ Top.
Dusty's right hand created such a thunderous tone, a true force to be reckoned with... A world without him just seems so empty, I already miss him... RIP Dusty Hill 💔
Saw them 42 years ago and again in 2019 at the Frankenhalle. Sadly they never played this number, unless I missed it while queuing up for a beer. Great band.
Brilliant reprise of a classic from their first album. This is the original ZZ blues attack at its best. For those unfamiliar with early Top, their first 2 albums are essential.
This is one of my favorite ZZ Top songs. It is little known beyond their fans; I've never heard it on the radio. This is one of those songs I would play if I could be D.J. for a day.
Billy can do so much while appearing to do so little, the man even sings while barely moving his mouth. It seems so effortless, it's like everything just falls into place with this band.
That intro is absolutely killer.....and what put this band on the map. Three guys, guitar, bass, and drums, and one big sound. Billy plays those licks slow and juicy, or fast and hot. There is no one who sounds quite like that. Their blend of blues rock is tops, no pun intended. Rock on brothers! Tejas rock n' roll!
Tried to imagine I was discovering a new band watching this when in reality I’ve followed “The Top” for almost 40 years. I think I’d be as blown away as I was when I heard Deguello for the 1st time if that makes sense.
R.I.P. Dusty Hill. Fantastic performance here. You will be sorely missed.
I agree he will be missed rip bro
My favort band
Just released, RAW
Didnt know man!sorry rip
Yes he will be . He was and still is a great performer he and Lemmy are up there with Dio and Bon and Malcolm and George Young. and many others to come and who have passed alongside Tina and many more.

Yeah, I’m 68. And I saw them in 1970. That’s when I first heard this song, kid.
Try Dead South.
outstanding story , my sons are in their 30's i talk to them the same .
Try steve miller band

R.I.P. Dusty, Texas Legend. You will be missed
L
B
Yeah! RIP Glad to have seen him before ge died!
God bless Dusty
Love how this goes from a blues song to a special kind of ZZ Top rock. Dusty had a unique way of adding the bottom. He will really be missed. He had a special talent.
Loved how ZZ Top could always blend blues and rock into their own special sound.
Great tune
That's why they're the best blues band in history.
The tone here is INCREDIBLE. Forget the recording studio, give us a live from Gruene Hall Texas blues album!
i couldn't agree more! This music is way better live!
I think his voice is better than anything else.
Soon as I heard the opening licks I went to comments section to wrote exactly what rmzzz76 just wrote!!! Such an amazing tone from Biilys fingers!!!!
How in the world is this tone created
Billy's fingers. And a decent tube amp. AND he plays VERY light strings - .007's.
...The Legend that is Dusty Hill will be missed by this Old Head and Legions of ZZ Top Fans around the World ...Rock In Peace Brother
Billy's guitar tone is the fountain of life
Those Magnatone amps are awesome! The compliment his sound so much!
Let’s enjoy it while we can
Don’t forget he uses 8s
@@Kaspen82 *8* what??
@@Kaspen82 Oh, 8 light strings. No wonder he can bend them to high heaven.
50 years together and still kicking ass! Love these guys.
Well said ❤️
Насколько же они круче многих современных рокеров! Always in my heart!
Well said...I agree
One of rock and rolls best, still tight and sharp, see these hombres if you can.
Rest In Peace Dusty Hill. The Trio is no more. Thanks for the music gentlemen. It was the best.
Rip Dusty...
Their early stuff is absolutely thee best. Long live Billy, Dusty, and Frank
Ah men to that Brother
Damn straight
I agree! Way back in the mid 70s when I was playing bass in the Gray James band we played La Grange, Balinese and Nasty Dogs and Funky Kings.
I got Drunk with Dusty when he was in American Blues!
Their early stuff may have been the best, but their sound and style now are perfect. I'm ready for Fandango all over again, how about you !
Billys tone is what I've spent over ten years chasing. Sadly, its all in the hands, your sound is your sound.
Billy plays like notes are expensive, he doesn’t waste any of them.
The Reverend knows less is more.
ewoe21 your comment is right on man. When I watched him play I was pretty close and the simplicity or economy I should say was mind blowing. Got home and tried it. I realized I got a long way to go lol 😁
Just like Hemingway, he kept it simple. No use trying use a bunch of extravagant words when you can get the job done with a simple, concise sentence.
What
And they are recording a new Album to come out in 21.
R.I.P. Dusty
RIP Dusty.....The band has been together for 50 years with the same 3 guys.....I am so proud they are from Texas.....
This is just so damn good. What a sound coming from just three guys.
Loving the vibes!
Not just guys there fucking legends likes you will never see in history ever again ❤️
ZZ Top is certainly one of the best bands ever. You don’t listen to ZZ Top, you feel them.....
Rest high, Dusty. You will be missed.
We're so lucky these guys are still alive and playing so great.
Tommy Boyce , instead of selling duck callers
I love how this song starts out all blusey and laid back and then at 1:37 it turns into ZZ TOP! Amazing!!!
50 years on & STILL the SAME Trio kicking it....NO egos here No bullshit just the Vintage sound of that "Lil Ole Band From Texas"..... Tres Hombres MAS FINO!!@@
One thing I can say. ZZ will be playing at my funeral
I’ll have AC/DC Black Sabbath Dio all the way thru to ZZ Top from my wedding to my funeral (if I have a wedding) and since I don’t and never want too have kids? My nephew he will know who his auntie admires.
Waitin' for the bus/Jesus done left Chicago....? Hell Yeah.
Живьём?😊
Murderous tones!!!
And Dusty is just crushing it here.
Everything sounds phenomenal.
Billy G has always had great tone, but those Magnatone amps are something else.
Dusty 🖤🖤🖤
I started listening to ZZ Top when they released Tres Hombres and now Dusty is gone. Damn where did the time go. We all have that date, but how does it get here so fast. Rip Dusty Hill.....
Smooth
R.I.P. Mr. Joe Michael Hill😔 All there movements are effortless, signs of experienced musicians.
BTW people, Dusty Hill is Joe Michael Hill
Výborný sólo

Rip. Dusty
The greatest Blues band and Rock and Roll band in one....UNREAL stuff. Never will be seen again by 3 men.
that great band in the sky has one more great bass player in the house. Here on earth, we'll miss him
R.I.P. Dusty.
These guys are real musicians - they sound awesome, have swagger to burn, and they're not even breaking a sweat.
RIP Dusty
I've listened to this over and over and have come to the conclusion that ZZ Top needs to put out new versions of their first five albums (as a box set )
It would be nice to have a box set of all of their live concerts, some people that love their music just can't make it to their concerts because of physical disabilities and chronic pain. ✌
@HaveMercyMissPercy are you referring to the CDs released late 80s?
Yea i agree that would be bad ass if they would.
@HaveMercyMissPercy Hey Sweet Cheeks, it's good you've been paying so much attention! Great band.
What a f...@@ing goood idea !
R.I.P
That drumming really brought it all together.
That would be Frank Beard 🥁
@@allenwilson9656 without actual beard
What else is new? Lol. Gotta love Frank. He always holds it down.
Bad to the bone Texas style !!!!
very true
R.I.P. Dusty (
3 of the coolest blokes to ever walk this planet. Listened to these guys for years and this still my fave song.
What a sermon. What a spiritual awakening. Another fiery admonition from The Reverend.
WILLY G!!!!
Iam 64 and been listening to these 3 guys from the beginning . Never gets old. Billy's tone and style cant be duplicated and Dusty is the coolest bassist on the planet and frank ? Frank dosent get his due. Their geneous is their simplicity and the blues in their blood.
Oh yeah, I'm 67 and totally digging it !
RIP
Best band of all time imo, 34 years old and been brought up with Zztop, had the pleasure of seeing them live a decade or more ago in Newcastle.
Tone is Fucking Awesome .........
Wow. That's just three musicians playing live. Sounds like there's a lot more. Incredible.
When you're craving authentic blues rock, you NEVER look further than the Texas Trio. Damn man.
RIP Dusty...
I'm very pleased to know I'm not the only one that loves😊😄the song but when last did you play it.
Hello lana I see happiness ❤ all around you, can I please share from it?
That tone of voice, guitar, seems to me to carry a piece of all the real deal bluesman over time like Lightning Hopkins, it is a nectar for the soul!!
RIP DUSTY
Watch the documentary twice this past week and was blown away. Dusty is killing it here, monster tone!
Rip dusty
I'm very pleased to know I'm not the only one that loves😊😄the song but when last did you play it.
HOLY HELL, BILLYS NOTES ARE LIKE SILK UNDERWEAR WRAPPED IN BARBED WIRE.....UNREAL TONE HE GETS ON EVERY VIBRATING NOTE OF BLISS.....
Damn! What a horrible day! R.I.P. Dusty!
I was a fan long before the long beards. This is very cool because its totally LIVE and its killer.
"I was a fan long before the long beards"
That's the most hipster thing I've ever heard.
That blues shuffle in c R.I.P DUSTY
3 Dudes in a Rock band for over 45 years... 😎👍🏻👍🏻
That's how you keep chemistry going and not changing members like trading cards !
Billy is maybe the most perfect player I've ever listened to.
And yes, all 3 together are like from heaven.
Dusty, Don't Rest in Peace. Get to heaven and join that fabulous band up there waiting for you. Get after it and tear it up. We want to hear you from down here. We loved and love you. I will sorely miss you. Peace, love and ZZ Top.
good!!!
ZZ TOP, still top 50 years on, a masterclass from the awesome Billy Gibbons!!!
They are so chill. Wish I could have seen them. They are the Top. Tres Hombres forever
Unbelievable TONE
THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!!!!
Dusty's right hand created such a thunderous tone, a true force to be reckoned with... A world without him just seems so empty, I already miss him...
RIP Dusty Hill 💔
The Texas Blues delivered by the Blues Masters! ZZ Top will ride forever!
Billy Dusty and and Frank And Brown Sugar 50 years Sweet!
Great to see Billy playing this one! Time for another low down blues album.
Always been a ZZ TOP FAN, NEVER HAVE SEEN THEM LIVE BUT IT'S ON MY BUCKET LIST. ✌️TO ALL.
U should get their live DVD from Texas...U missed one of the best concerts ever if u never saw them live...Cheers...
Yeah make it a point to see them soon. You will be glad you did. They are 70 years young but how many more do they have in them?
Exactly the same here.
I've seen them live last summer. It was great :)
They were better back in the 70s. Billie has lost some of his fire. Age is a bitch!!
For weeks I've been trying to get my head around the powerful minimalism of this. It's simple, but not at all simple. The essence of the blues.
My favorite song from
ZZ Top
The Best 👌👌👌👌👌
Just totally awsome+. RIP Mr Hill...!
Přesně tak je to velká paráda
Saw them 42 years ago and again in 2019 at the Frankenhalle. Sadly they never played this number, unless I missed it while queuing up for a beer. Great band.
Unique band from Texas with excellent guitar chords. 👍
Excuse me - you cut short Brown Sugar by ZZ Top. That is insane !
"Бородачи",как всегда-на.высоте,круто
Older zz top brings a whole new cleanliness and accuracy to the song. Every aspect is new and the same.
Back from the the good days, they still got it.
One of my all time favourite songs. The studio version for me is unbelievably hot and that was their 1st album!
After 50 years, it's so clear how they loved playing music together. Just awesome to watch. Rip DH.
Brilliant reprise of a classic from their first album. This is the original ZZ blues attack at its best. For those unfamiliar with early Top, their first 2 albums are essential.
The 1st album is my all time favorite and the live one.
Everybody's talking about Billy but Dusty absolutely killed it
Dr. Turkey I was gonna say my dude. He’s got that bass figured out.
I agree. Dusty’s bass growls. A little grit and dirt, and some sub octave effect too. Low guitar!
Yea, I was thinking: need to show more of Dusty
Dr. Turkey dusty laying down that bottom line
Slaying it!
The dusty yell before the solo is gold.
Respectfully I'm lost for words with the fabric that ZZ Top has sewn into the very heart of soulful rythem of its blues. Tommy Tombstone. 💘 y'all.
One of the best concerts i went to.
Love all these people that came to enjoy this great song today. RIP
Best guitar tone known to man right here. Especially that original recording! Oooof! Beautiful!
Been listening to these guys since I was 15. I'm now 61 best ever
This is one of my favorite ZZ Top songs. It is little known beyond their fans; I've never heard it on the radio. This is one of those songs I would play if I could be D.J. for a day.
These are not mere mortals they are gods. Such sweet tones and the ease of which it comes forth. We are all so lucky to have this music in our lives
And now it's gone, just like that. RIP Dusty
RIP Dusty. Texas through and through
These guys are the literal definition of cool.
Billy can do so much while appearing to do so little, the man even sings while barely moving his mouth. It seems so effortless, it's like everything just falls into place with this band.

Saw these guys couple years back....one of the best shows I've ever seen and this is one of my favorite songs by the trio. ZZ TOP FOREVER 🤘
Hahahahahahahahaha
Is this about a drug?...or about delicious black women?..not sure..😊
I recognise the first 2 licks from soemwhere else but i dont know where
Sounds a little different than the album version but I like it. It's like a lower tone or something
Little bit „darker“.
got to see these guys way back in 1975, what a show man, what a show....
Saw them at my first concert in 1976! They are better live in my opinion!
