I highly recommend The sea gypsy hotel, It's right on the beach (Touching sand) You can chose either 1st, 2nd or 3rd stories. The suites have a small kitchen with a living room with pull out beds and a pull out wall bed, you can also get it with the back bedroom. Make sure you book it in a huge time of advance.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at The Inn at The Cove. Mostly because they are dog friendly. We moved to Pismo soon after.

I recommend the cliffs hotel and spa. My wife and I love it there and would choose it over all but possibly dolphin bay.
