I always felt God had allowed a glimpse of my heaven in Pismo beach when I was 18, WOW a wonderful summer it was!
I lived in pismo for 6 months last year, I miss the weather!
Central coast native here. My mom and I used to go to this beach often and collect sea glass. She has been ill and has been having trouble even walking sadly, so there’s no way she’s be able to climb those stairs these days. But it’s such a beautiful spot, peaceful and usually very few people down there

Just got home from Pismo Beach.. Thanks for all the tips on where to go.. we enjoyed it. Came across your vid. A few days ago before heading to Pismo. We visited Splash Cafe, Pier, the cinnamon rolls where yummy, Dinosaur coves park my kids had a blast their. Oceano dunes the next day boy my kids where so exited that we drove on the beach. Unfortunately we didn't do the quads they where fully booked. One thing you missed to visit was a Restaurant called Ventana grill. My daughter searched hidden jems to visit on tiktok and this Restaurant popped up the food was amazing and the stunning views, its overlooking the ocean.

What I like is that here there are beautiful views in both directions - the ocean and the coast. In Southern California there are condos and houses all along the coast. The beautiful view is only in one direction.

Last summer we moved from NorCal to SoCal and drove the PCH the whole way. One of our favorite stops was Pismo beach for sure. Thanks for sharing your experience ❤

❤️ I wish I could be a SLOCAL more than anything!!! ❤️ Pismo used to be my favorite place in the whole world 🌎 now it's SLO, but what makes it so great is all of the amazing towns in the county ❤️805❤️ I've been 4 wheeling in the dunes several times when I lived in Cali. Next time you drive on the beach, let a little air out of your tires first, no big deal if you forget, but if you get stuck, time to let some air out and you'll be just fine!!! I love this video so much! You did an amazing job! The colors pop and it's so clear that I feel like I'm there when I'm watching it. I showed a coworker friend and said, "See I told you it's heaven and listen, now he even saw Jesus! So funny!!! I hope I'm not offending anyone, but it is "my heaven" on earth. We moved to Pismo right on the ocean during covid. It's cold in Pismo often throughout the year but of course at night.

@@obijuankenobi420 Try San Luis Obispo and commute. I am in LA, and am considering SLO County, and other areas. Big cities are not what they used to be.

FYI: that’s about the coldest it is in Pismo Beach in the morning. Also the hills often aren’t very green during the rest of the year. The green hills are one of the benefits of visiting closer to the wintertime. As well as the morning not being overcast, the places not being so busy and the prices being cheaper at hotels.
The Pismo Preserve trail is very nice as well as Pirates Cove and Avila Beach. I work at a couple of the hotels in Pismo Beach.
Hi I’m actually moving to the area from Texas and I saw this comment just wondering do you have any recommendations on inexpensive hotel yet most safe ? I work construction my fiancée will be at the room predominately just want to make sure she’s comfortable

Oceano Dunes! In Oceano is my fav stop in the five cities area! Make sure to stop by downtown Oceano too...some great restaurants most locals don't even know about

Love Pismo beach but yes the water is cold. The California current comes down from off the coast of Alaska and goes down the entire coastline of California but the upwelling (basically water coming up from at or near the sea floor) is particularly strong in certain places such as the Central Coast. The whales are drawn to the upwelling which pulls plankton to the surface and this is why the Central Coast is one of the best places to see a whale. It is hard to describe the feeling you get seeing these massive and beautiful creatures in real life.

Stay close to the beach. Nothing like hearing the waves crash on shore to lull you to sleep. (We have camped in an RV in Pismo almost every year for over 17 years - we love it. Will be going back in 2 weeks - can’t wait!)
Driving in the sand I have to try. Seems to be a special feeling. Such thinks are only possible in the 🇺🇸. Hope the rental car will not stuck in the sand 😆
It was a ton of fun. Just be careful - unless you have 4 wheel drive you risk getting stuck!
