He’s absolutely correct when he said “there’s nothing King Diamond has done that is shitty.” A flawless career and a class act gentleman. Also Vincent comes off as a quality guy. Throwing on some old Acheron today.
I find it absolutely ridiculous that speaking of the first deathmetal album no one mentions "Bestial Devastation" and "Morbid Visions" by Sepultura, '85 and '86 respectively. That is DEFINITELY deathmetal.

Vincent seems like a really great guy; I can recall during the mid-late 90s he was kind enough to answer an interview I did with him regarding his Satanic perspective(s) for my Sociology college course…super generous of him to donate his time for something trivial like that.

They peaked on the "Rebirth" album IMO. One of the best DM records of all time. It's so dirty, uncompromising and dark my jaw drops to the floor every time I turn this shit on.

They used to have a feud going in the press, Cronos would talk loud shit about King "Billy" and call 'em rip offs and posers. I still listen (and love) Mercy, Venom not so much.
