Ahhhhhh I know. When I got a full rebuild done and tune I picked up my car and the performance builder had put his banner across the top of my window. I tore it of that very minute.

Yeah however in Western Australia unless you apply for an exemption you are not allowed to drive at all at certain times and I would rather a car than not a car when I need to use it !!! Sucks over in Western Australia telling you when you are allowed to drive how childish, anyway I have never been Western Australia but I looked up your regulations

The sound was alright if you just want it louder but the drone was really bad

People underappreciate the v6 commodores. Yes they're not as quick yes they don't sound as grunty but overall they do sound good and have decent power

Yo yo. I'm another Perth guy (looks like most of ur fans are haha!) I've got a ve that I'm always modifying aswell. Maybe I'll post a video or two on some of the custom work I've done. I just finished making a cutom grill. Got rid of holden badge and put some mesh there.

I know this video is old bro, But how did you get the badge redish from the bronze? This combo would look sick on my car but all the bronze aerosol cans iv viewed on the internet are not quite as red as yours.
its a Nissan colour I had made up by my uncle who is a spray painter. unsure of the actual paint code though sorry
Isnt the sports armour meant to be scratched up to protect the actual front bumper from scrapes.... bit cheap on the plasti dip instead of just spending the $240 ish to save your front end a bit.

Yea the l67 is P plate legal but it's close to the limit
i know that feeling buddy for p plates, luckily one of the only vehicles to get away with v8's in SA is land cruisers, you can own an old school v8 like a 253/308/304 or a ls1 in the cruiser...granted you can't drive an old 70's v8 sedan that makes 140kw in SA as it's deemed "too powerful" but a 200kw vz ute which i own is allowed...so yeah
The power to weight ratio for p plates is weight 1 tonne to 130 KW in NSW , this means for a 1500 KG car with a V8 in it you can drive a V8 legally just not the 6 litre , you can legally have a VS commodore 5.0 litre for instance

Yeah only a 5l and they are slower than the ve sv6 but they sound nicer

Get an ss and just put sv6 badges and get a bi modal exhaust, thats what I did

I think about $150 from a local shop

I pick up my SS next week so im done with my 6 now too. Aside from an exhaust\muffler the only mods worth doing to the motor was a mace pod CAI, replaced all intake piping from the MAF to the TB, manifold spacers and a throttle controller to get rid of the lag. For around $600 in total, it really woke the car up. No tune and no error codes.

my dad has a blue, cammed , supercharged, lowered and full exhaust system 6.0 L, 2008 ssv ve commodore, he got in a car accident the other day... another commodore crashed straight into the front left of the car, the wheel completely snapped off, shocks are snapped, front left of the car is buggered and the springs are snapped. thank god we have rac insurance 🙄 ( W.A btw )

You better have 55 mufflers on or else you're going to get defected etc. Becuase the government in Australia are money hungry plus all the complaining Karens also make sure all of your car has 100mm of ground clearance too. What a joke I hate it

Ha ha whatever every state has restrictions of some sort , unfortunatley it seems Western Australia’s actually sound like they suck the most , you are not allowed to drive at certain times of the day without a work exemption permit a curfew , you may be allowed to drive whatever you want however you are being dictated to on when you can actually drive !! I would rather a low powered car and being allowed to drive when I want than put up with Western Australia’s Mickey Mouse dictatorship , and just so you know people in NSW are allowed V8 it just has to be 130KW to 1 tonne power to weight ratio , which means you can have VS 5.0 litre V8 or a VT 5.0 litre etc ...or a ford 5.0 litre

From NSW and my first car is a 2010 Holden Commodore SV6 VE 2 series with sports exhausts. I really wanted to get a muffler delete altho it would be too loud.... check out my recent vid on youtube Kustom Productions n let me know any ideas of what I can get done to my car, please! ;P
