exhaust wrap great idea and a turbo blanket will bring under bonnet temp down 200 odd degrease !

Im in the USA. I also have a 17 VF/Chevrolet SS Sedan in Red Hot 2.
My LS3 has been fully built and forged and FIC 1650cc and Fore tripel pump in the tank. All fuel lines done with An lines.
Intercooler is gigantic so big is barely fits behind the front bumper.
Camero deep pan upgrade
Built trans
Circle D converter
Whole build from top to bottom has been all upgraded to ARP bolts.
Holley fuel rails
Holley valve covers
All the cold side pipes are wrapped and anything hot side has been coated in this new thing that cuts the temperature down like crazy.
Heater core hose has been relocated for cleaner look.
All the radiator hose has been upgarded to aluminum piping.
Cold case upgrade radiator.
Transmission oil cooler custome fabricated
Also the whole build was done with V band clamps anywhere we could use it it was done.
These kit where custom fabricated so we could add what we wanted.
No clamps here didnt want potential boost leaks.
Turbo blanket and turbo guard
Full custom 3 inch exhaust all the way back.
Its like 3 page long build those are just some of the things we did.
Love the wagon bro. Love the build also.
My WM Caprice will be LSA soon also.

Your supposed to soak the wrap beforehand, warm soapy water. When it dries it shrinks.

Beautiful build man. Those brackets you used for the bottom setrab cooler, would you happen to have the spec and measurements on it. I think that using rib nuts is a genius idea considering the crash bar is pretty sturdy.

If you mean WN statesman or caprice then yes, and Chevy ss is what it would be if they sold the wagons over there.

Hey mate, this is a weird question but what's the fuel economy on this? It doesn't matter too much, and especially when you're dusting the cob webs off her she'll drink like a fish in water, but was just more so comparing a turbo build vs ls3 w a supercharger vs lsa. Friend has a VF1 Clubby Wagon and was just curious is all. Cheers mate, really appreciate your full build!
I’ll be completely honest I’ve never been one to look at what economy I’m getting, tank gets low I fill it up haha.
On e85 it’ll be pretty terrible.

That’s pretty much it so far, engine bay temps are high but that’s just turbo things, loves drinking e85 and doesn’t like traction.
Not a big fan of the lowering it and big wheels......... but yeah bro thumbs up for the DIY.... I presume it has a custom cam as well by the sounds of it? ....

How come you got standard volume oil pump? Thought u were supposed to get high volume for when it’s supercharged or has turbo
Get a lot of mixed answers with it, some believe the high volume is too much for a factory sump and it’ll run it dry.

You definitely don’t, look at a Killaboost entry level kit, put some valve springs in and upgrade your fuel system and send it 🤙🏻

Hi mate , how did you side on the injectors ? What power on E85 are these good for ? And what length did you buy ?
They’re short length Bosch 1650cc units and way overkill for the power I made 630kw/845hp, duty cycle was 28% at that power level.
Have seen them used at 1000kw/1340hp.

I remember in another post you mentioned when the 6l80 goes you would put a 4l80. Were you serious , have you done any research on the conversion. I am seriously thinking about it.
Yeah definitely see it in the future but got an America trip booked that swallowed up the budget,
Converter, transmission crossmember, shifter & drop box, speedo module and tailshaft.
Shouldn’t be much different then a glide/th400 conversion.

It isn’t, but if you wanted a very fuel inefficient daily it could do it.
@@AndyJBuilt maybe a stupid question, could you fit an air filter if it was daily driven? If not would not running one have a dramatic effect on engine life? Cheers for the reply
@@Bikemad24 no room for a filter unfortunately so just run a mesh turbo guard, it’s not ideal for the engine but neither is almost three times the horsepower it originally makes haha.

Probably more then a shop would charge, get in touch with sass automotive in hoppers crossing.
