Sounds awesome bro. I've got a 2011 VE Series 2 V6 model. Is it okay if I just change the stock mufflers into straight pipes with no other exhaust modifications needed? Also thinking between these and the mufflers that can be remotely controlled like the Varex ones. Thanks in advance

Hey did this exhaust have a resonator? Not too good with cars but planning on getting a straight pipe with resonator for my sv6
Yeah it does have a factory resonator. I went threw a few different exhaust setups and my favourite ended up being all factory components. I installed a redline ss resonator/midpipe and ss mufflers and thought the sound was nice and clean but still a good note/ loudness. I did have cutouts installed on the mufflers for when I wanted it really loud though haha
Installed these same pipes tonight and having trouble getting the right side one to line up. Any tips?
Would this work on a berlina commodore just as well as the sv6?
Can you install this without having to install anything else? Other than the gaskets of course.

Literally, 15 mins and 1 spanner had mine changed out to these hotdogs. Very easy install.
Using car ramps is a lot easier you dont have to mess around with jacks, also sounds like you need to disable the seatbelt warning so that you dont get those super annoying beeps on startup !

I just got a sv6 Ve wagon for my first, brought it the other day. I’d put 2 1/2inch straight pipes. Like the ones he’s got on
you can buy them online as a direct swap, its 2 bolts per side. You need the 2 exhaust pieces and 2 flange gaskets, that's it

It was just the hot dog mufflers in that video but I would recommend getting a set of ss midpipes. I ended up putting redline ss midpipes on and it sounded great

thanks for showing me bro, can get a mod shop to delete the muffler and weld straight pipe but its good to buy these ones custom so you can take them off and sell them or use on your next car. i was quoted $125 each side bit cheaper but you cant remove them so..

Hey mate, I’ve heard the j pipes are good to cancel drone but don’t have enough knowledge to give you a perfect answer. I did find the hotdogs I had done barely anything
not sure if its to late but go for a 2.5 coz the 3 inch will actually lower ur performance because there won't be as much back pressure to force the fumes out the exhaust
@@rxkus9914 i did end up getting it and got the 2.5 and it actually sounds great and still performs well (for p plates) thought it might sound bad like a straight pipe but its actually alright

deep sound V6 bahahahhah go for v8 mate that's the go for deep sound and look for xforce exhausts
great video man ltieraly looking at buying one rn did you have any problem finding out what size to get like is the size just the tip or the part where it attaches to the exhaust?
By memory the size was just the tips which I went with 3 or 3.5 inch and they fit great
What brand pair muffler how much was it
they are by Veonline and were $300 from memory
the gasket just burns in the exhaust and seals it so exhaust fames don't come out the join and you keep the back pressure that your exhaust needs
Just put these on today, sound great through the Revs, but drone like Fukn crazy around 1800-2500 if sitting around there, selling these to get something else....

Because exhausts are sick on any car that has some performance potential. Prefer high revving highly tuned engine exhausts as they make the car sound like it's on rails. Please don't do autos.
