- That's right! Minecraft is on the Sega Dreamcast! Amazingly, we even have the choice of two versions. Releasing way back in 2017, Crafti is ported from a Texas Instruments calculator. More recently, a version of ClassiCube has also been released for the DC, including many more features and even online play!

I'm still rockin' my Casio CFX-9850G Plus Graphics calculator. My parents got it for me in 1998 since it was a requirement for Year 11 Maths at Newton Moore Senior High School here in Bunbury.
It cost, from memory, a grand total of $350.
I had a lot of fun programming things like Snake, etc... on that using various Casio programming websites.
Around 20yrs ago, my aunty asked if my cousin could borrow it, I said yes, thankfully I got it back. But it's been every faithful to this day :)
Nice! I have one of those with a programming guide. Found it in an op-shop several years ago
The bit about the Dreamcast needing to be capable of running homebrew was copy pasted from other consoles where it matters a bit more, whoops.. removed that now.
An onscreen keyboard will come some day. I just haven't figured out the best approach yet since the main menu renders and handles input in a completely different way compared to the game itself
I remember when minecraft was free - extracted from a tarball and run from the command line (it still can be). It's only Java.. windoze users were late to the party as always because not even something as simple as Java comes preinstalled on the spyware of all spywares known as the windows OS.
There's at least two other Aussies with online Dreamcasts, I am one of them
Nice! What do you play?
