What is your favorite thing about the Navi?
Price
@@Arnnnnn Definitely a huge factor.
It looks like a ton of fun!!!
motorcycle styling and the storage box. Oh, and the simplicity.
price too
reliability, practicality, and impossible fuel economy for less than $2000. this is a used car killer.
Well in my climate you may still need a used car a few months of the year but it sure is attractive from a financial perspective.
As an owner of a PCX 150 I'm encouraging my friends to get Navis so we can ride together. Should be a good mix.
Brand and Price. its that specific combo that makes me feel confident buying a mini moto for $1807
Honda means reliable and affordable for sure.
I purchased mine for $2,400 with included dealer fees. It comes in late January to South Dakota.
@@joshuareynolds2163 Does that include tax and tags? Trying to see if what I was quoted is a good price
@@cole-man Yes, it'll be all the fees out the door.
@@joshuareynolds2163 did you get it yet ?
I’m here for this minimoto revolution going on recently. Grom, Monkey, CT125, these things are all over metro areas and now they’ve got a budget version of it! Honda cornering a really great market here. Can’t wait to get one, gonna put some knobbies on it because lots of dirt roads here, but I will be ripping that little SOB for all it’s worth!
I wished Harley would make bikes like this. I’m from Milwaukee and I’ve always wanted a Harley but those prices were crazy and I hate manuals in traffic. This is a great idea by Honda.
I went out and ordered a Navi and its the best investment i ever made It changed my life socially
Awesome! That is great to hear!
Looks like a nice bike to get around town, even for a new rider.
yes i want 1( maybe 2 ) for my camper ,looks like a great little bike to run in to town or around the camp ground . looks like a lot of fun
Fab and very informative, regards from India.
I own a 2016 Dec Navi (Orange). Never had an issue and use it as a daily over 50 kms to and fro through all season - rain, summer & winter !
My dealer is getting 3 in, I am going to check it out when he gets one....
I want one as my first bike in a year or two. I like that it costs cheap, the good fuel mileage, it looks more like a normal motorcycle, and that it is automatic. I'd mostly just want it for fun rides as a toy, but it would also be good to have as a back up in case my car ever has problems years from now and I need to get to work before having time to repair the car. I live in CA, so there would only be a few rainy days out of the year when it wouldn't be useable.
I was considering the ADV 150 or the Trail 125, but now that the Navi is coming out here I'd rather get that.
Same here, after I saw it that the IMS last year I decided that this was going to be my bike of choice if/when I get a bike license. I want it for the same reasons too, something inexpensive to ride around town on for furn. Best of all, being so small, storing it in my back patio and then wheeling it out through the garage will be easy and it's small enough that I can probably store it in the garage on those rare rainy SoCal days.
If it goes 50 I’m all in I just want a cheap mode of transportation that’s faster than the bus and walking
I love it!
I will get a Navi when they come out as a cheap ride for work getting the windshield and luggage rack and using for errands around town. I have been riding bikes for 49 years always liked the small bikes and miss my old 1974 ST-90 and feel like this will be rode often.
I'm likely to buy one because it's literally the only motorcycle like vehicle I can afford.
Everyone has to start somewhere. I am looking at one as a learner bike.
Oklahoma here. my husband and I are buying two, one in 30 days and the other sometime after that. Our first date was on his Harley Sportster 10 years ago. Now we will be able to ride together, but side by side , I still like to ride behind him most of the time. But this will be fun around town. and since gas is high, I can go see all my grandkids cheaper.
Cool twist on a scooter. Can't wait for the Mod market to open up on this one.
I"m definitely buying one. I haven't been on a bike in about 4 years. Got into an accident with the last one. I already have the money set aside. Just waiting for next month.
Awesome glad your getting back into riding, sorry you had an accident.
One thing you left out does it keep the battery charged when running plus since it is not fuel injected will it start or does it have to warm up first
I'm currently saving up for one .It'll probably be the only transportation i own without payments.I hope that there will be a engine upgrade kit .
Yes I would buy !! Thank you ...
Thank you for watching and commenting.
I like the navi! I would consider buying it! Very sporty!!
I’m going to look at one as soon as my dealer get some in
Nice video 😍
Thank you!
I love everything about this bike and can’t wait to get one but I really wish it was faster. Just because it’ll be nice as a new rider to get comfortable with the freeway without worrying about shifting gears.
I would not consider taking a motorcycle this small on the freeway, unless it is traffic jam and traffic is running 45 mph or less. If you want to rider the freeway without shifting gears get a bigger bike with the DCT transmission. Where I live it would be very dangerous to ride this on the freeway. The bike to light and under powered for that environment IMO.
100% do not take this bike on a highway. It has a top speed of about 55-60 mph at best. It takes forever to get to those speeds making entering a highway dangerous and your presence on the road is tiny for those speeds. Keep this vehicle inner city roads. Great for around the town but can be dangerous and potentially illegal on highway/freeways. Check local laws to see if you need a certain engine size to legally drive it
Id love one. Great little putter to get to work on! Especially with how gas prices are heading.
I am considering one for that and teaching New Riders
That would work as long as you can get to work on surface streets alone. According to people who go to test ride it at Hond's Navi debut event, it'll only hit 55 max and that's going downhill, tucked in, and at full throttle.
Favorites; price and size. I’m looking for bike to take camping. I can fit this in the back of my truck while towing my camper and have efficient transportation at my destinations
It's just fun to ride
I think I like that. I've had 3 Hondas in the past. An 82 Knighthawk 450, a 75 CB500 and a 2000 Shadow 750 ACE.
Now that I'm older, I would like
something simple and easy.
I stared street riding on an 87 shadow 500, was a great machine…
I stared street riding on an 87 shadow 500, was a great machine…
Can we lower and stretch them ?
I bought a ho da Navi I love it ❤
Now that is cool as hell! Not bad looking, love the price! I think these will go like hotcakes!
I wonder how fast they will sell out...
@@NewBikeMikeChannel Better order one now!
already reached out to my local dealer and he is going to let me know when he gets one in, they are expecting 3
Shame on Rosenau powersports in dearborn heights michigan, marked it up to 4500.00 dollars out the door.
@@NewBikeMikeChannel they come 2 in a box
Would love to under that top speed of 55 MPH when most people only get 45 MPH. Like do they have a recommend waght limt or what. It's a great bike ether way but would like to understand.
I own a Vespa Primavera 150 and was excited to see this. I get asked all of the time about my Vespa (how much it cost, and whether you need a motorcycle license). I think these mini-motos attract attention. But, I don't like the idea of giving up speed and storage. However, it is easily less than half the price of my Vespa.
Yeah the price is a very tempting factor for sure....
don't insult the Vespa by comparing it to a cheap Navi...I have both.
Yes
Got my NAVI in India in 2016. Navi means NEW and it is an ADDICTION.
I just rode one a few minutes ago!
Unfortunately, it is near impossible to find one physically in a dealership at any given moment. Also gouging is in full force down here in LA. Bought my 22’ Grom for $5206 ($3499 MSRP) and I have had a deposit on a Navi since mid February and have been quoted $3100 OTD.
That is terrible, I test rode one here a few weeks ago, they has 2 at MSRP
At the dealership close to my place, OTD was $4200... Luckily I was able to find a used one for ~$2700 with about 1000 miles on it lol
im looking into getting one to get from work and back only live about 5 to 10 miles from work this would be perfect! im about 5'10 is that too tall for this bike?
I don’t know yet, I just talk to a Honda dealer that’s expecting one in the next few weeks and he’s going to call me when he gets it in so I can go see it in person.
I put a deposit on the Navi, today. I am the 2nd one to do so with this dealer and any color is ok. I'm in PA near the Mason Dixon line and ordered from a Maryland dealer. I have 4 Chinese bikes, a Honda 300 Forza and when the Navi arrives, all my Chinese bikes will be gone.
Awesome my dealer will call me when he gets one, I have an old 4 wheeler that I may trade on one…

Transition from a scooter to motorcycle?
@@NewBikeMikeChannel essentially yes!
I am having trouble finding this online. Can you possibly give me a place to look for it?

I would love to buy a Navi but a I'm a bit concerned if it will make it up an up hill street. I'm 65 and sold my Harley as it was becoming a liability should I have to menuver quickly in traffic. The Navi seems like low speed turns and getting if needed taking it off road a bit would be no problem. I live in upstate NY where street hills are common and would hate slow 30 mph traffic if the Navi can't handle a hill. Anyone know?
Checkout Quasimotard channel, he owns one and has several videos on it. ua-cam.com/users/QuasiMotard
I have 2 250cc scooters and a 750cc shadow. All honda of course, I'd buy one in a minute, but the stealerships are gonna "market adjust" them so much you'll be lucky to get one for 4k
Local dealer to me had them for MSRP just a few months ago, not all dealerships are stealerships...
@@NewBikeMikeChannel Hi Mike, I'm 64 and i bought my first bike at a dealership in NYC at 14 years old. I worked at summer to pay that 359.00. The experience was horrible, I've tried to purchase new at dealerships over the decades, but always walked away with my blood pressure up and buying used for cash.
@@kennypool I understand, I am just lucky to have some MSRP dealers in my area I guess, in 2015 I bought my SGS for under MSRP but most don't get that lucky...
Getting one tomorrow for 2,674 from some guy who has one for sale with 5 miles on it. I mean I guess I'll get it . In Texas you don't need a motorcycle license to ride these bad boys. It's grass hopper green also. Brand spanking new. Can't wait to get it. Im only gonna pay that price cause he had to pay for tax , title , freight , shipping, install etc. If not I'd wait for back order till December 2022 and I don't wanna wait that long for a winter ride. Yes the bike is less than 2k online but damn it I don't mind at all.
That’s not terrible they are $2200 out the door here MSRP and that doesn’t include taxes etc…
Might as well just buy a Grom ..... but those wheels do look moped an affordable Honda moped .... I actually love the idea of this bike it's awesome I would totally buy one to rip around-the-town and take to bikefest
Almost twice as much but if you can afford it probably so
I would of liked it better if it had fuel injection. I like the way it looks. They should also have a 200cc option for areas that have a lot of hills like Tennessee.
I don't get the decision with this one. They have the fuel injected version in scoots all over the world but went with carb for the USA. This is the same engine that couldn't meet air regs in India, not sure how it's California CARB compliant.
Is this a street legal bike? I am looking to get my first bike and want something a little cheaper and easy to learn with. Originally I was only looking at dirt bikes but I saw a couple videos on this
I am sure it is street legal in my area. I can speak for other countries or states.
It's street legal but also has a top speed around 55mph.
I think I'll buy one to haul on a rear rack of my Gold Wing!
lol
The MSF basic motorcycle skills test requires that the rider demonstrate how to up-shift and down-shift. I do not know of any state that uses or allows the Honda Navi for testing or training.
I am 74 years old and have ridden motorcycles and scooters in the past and we are RVer’s and have a small camper we could add an extended bumper carrier and the 230 pounds on the back wouldn’t do much to the handling plus my wife and I could cruise the State Parks we go to without driving our truck. Only question is how much weight can it carry???
Check the comments, I am pretty sure some discussed it. I don’t remember the answer, sorry.
So Japan just knew that in 2022 gas prices would sky rocket and we’d all be interested in high mpg mini Motos? Pretty good guess there Japan
Did you see they are bringing the Dax back?
@@NewBikeMikeChannel never heard of it , just checked it out and yes that’s cool too thanks
@@Diggyace14 Thanks for watching and commenting. I think Affordable bikes with high MPG is going grow in popularity...
id buy one if i could find one
Turned 17 a few months ago, looking to get something cheap, and this really beats all of the used cars i have looked at. The only thing I am worried about is the insurance cost, how much would it raise the insurance in comparison to a car?
Insurance for motorcycles is fairly inexpensive compared to cars
i would be worried more about the weather @ 17 good luck getting car insurance on your own
I want a fun "toy" for short trips to the lake, shopping, or exploring fire roads. Is this bike capable of that, or would one of the other mini moto's be more appropriate?
Exploring Fire Roads might be hard on the limited suspension, depending on how rough these fire roads are and how often you would do so. The monkey is over $4K but probably best suited for off road or rough roads type terrain IMO. Hope that helps.
@@NewBikeMikeChannel Thanks! Good thought. Back and fire roads do tend to get rather washboard-y from time to time.
I'm an experienced rider and I want one.
I do to but for teaching, not for riding myself much, it would be okay at a campground.
Yes, I'm interested into buying one!! ASAP!! This is because of owning an old HONDA RUCKUS, which is overpriced & too slow for driving!!!
Do I need to get licensed to drive one or just a car licensed
License if in the us in most states I know of.
i just bought a navi today
Congrats!
Can two people ride on it
They can, can’t say for how long or comfortably though
Looks like a solid bike. However for that price and what it is...when something sounds too good to be true. It ain't.
It has its quirks for sure.
I wonder if it has tubeless tires. I love the carburetor, drum brakes, and lack of ABS. I normally hate matte black bikes, but I would actually prefer this in matte black. In bright colors it looks too much like a Barbie bike. I'm almost surprised they didn't make a pink one. This looks like a battery powered bike. But it is cheaper, and has unlimited range. Hopefully it will take a huge bite out of ebike sales. The under $2000 price is a joke. I can guarantee this thing will go out the door for close to $3000 at local dealers in my area. And that is what will likely cause it to fail.
I believe the factory tire are tubeless, I can live with any of the colors except Nut Brown lol. My dealer is going to let me know when he gets one in and I will see what I he wants for it...
What's the maximum weight it can carry?
Unreliable sources say 300+ pounds, Honda doesn't say...
New Bike Mike Pity Honda doesn't say. As a single rider, I'm sure I'm well within the weight limit, but if I carry someone or something, the weight limit is important. Thanks!
I read somewhere the limit is 330lbs on this bike. I have been researching it extensively.

2,900 in maryland smh
I paid $2882 for mine in Northern California. Had to have it for my minimoto collection. The other ones I'm keeping to look at but the Navi will get miles put on it. We volunteer at Laguna Seca and this will be a nice pit bike for two of us to get around. Bring on the Dax!

Just be careful that this bike can easily be stolen if left unattended......236 lbs. wet......two guys can easily pick this up in no time.
It's not a 1807$ motorcycle. It will cost 2999.99$ including tax, dealer fee, assembly fees and some other fees. It's better to buy venom x22 get for 3100$.
Not here, $2200 out the door, I have a MSRP dealer 30 miles away I priced one to see...that doesn't count tax, tax isn't paid to dealer here, you do that when you register it at government office
I don’t know why people say this is a good “bike” to learn. You have to learn on an actual bike with a clutch. This is a scooter. Knowing how to ride this won’t teach you anything on how to ride an actual motorcycle..
I’m sure someone said that about automatic transmissions in cars at one point. I feel riders should learn to ride with a clutch but that doesn’t mean learning basic’s before introducing a motorcycle with a clutch is bad either. Fact is there are several motorcycles already without clutches and more coming after each year, electric, DCT…
That a scooter that looks like a bike..lol
Pretty much but it maybe ideal for training purpose. 100 mph under 2k also seems interesting for a budget option for students also.
Do I need a motorcycle license for this bike?
In the United States you would need a license for this as far as I know it is over 50cc
Do I need motor Driver license for this...??
That would depend you local laws, where I live yes.
over 50cc in most places needs a license plate/registration/motorcycle endorsement as it is a "motorcycle" ... over 50 cc. 49cc and under is a scooter and doesnt need a license plate/registration in many places if had lights/mirrors, turn signals.
Sorry but I have to mention I didn't like how you referred to the learning rider simply as "a female"
Ok and what should I have referenced the learning rider from the launch video as? I assume you have watched the launch video right?
@@NewBikeMikeChannel Yeah, no kidding. I found her to be a very attractive female.

Of all the scoots in the world they decide to import the one that FAILED in India.
Come on Honda.
drum brakes??? back to the 1960's? how cheap. cant cobble the discs off the grom?
Grom is significantly more $, I am guessing they couldn't keep it under 2K if they went with bigger wheels and disc brakes...I think these are targeted at training/beginners and you will see them mounted on the back of RV's mostly.
It is a waste of money bike it was came to India but now it is discontinue by Honda 😂
Was it bad or did it just not sell well in that market?
