@@AL3X1KUS Rob certainly is a good player. However he rarely shows it. What I don't like about his playing is that most of the time it is the bare minimum of that's needed for the song. This might have been their best performance for Ktulu in a long time. Bob was absolutely superb on bass! They were enjoying every riff. Long live the kings of thrash!
I've been listening to Metallica since I was 11 years old back in 1988. 36 years later, somewhere in the background amidst the sea of thousands of people in this video, I am there with my wife and one of my sons feeling profoundly grateful and lucky for being able to experience this and share it with some of the people I love. Thanks for being so amazing for so many years, Metallica.
I've been a fan since '83 (18 years old). I got to go to the Foxboro show with my 16 year old son. For me, the best part wasn't seeing them for the second time (first was in 1994), it was sharing the night with my son, seeing him just totally rock out. Brought me to tears at one point... to be with him... words can't describe....
Man, wish they played in new york. But the trip to Chicago made up for the lack of metallica in new york. Lol you could hear everyone play metallica in their speakers entering the stadium and leaving it. Nobody plays metallica over here so it was a sight of joy indeed.
