Hey Nicks... thanks for this video. I was there that Saturday night. I brought my 12-year ol daughter. We were up against the stage in front of DeeDee. I told my daughter if shit gets weird run along the stage off to the corner. There is security over there. There was no trouble, the mosh was fierce! She went back to school on Monday and told the kids she saw "The Beatles of Punk!"

Great footage and concert. Dee Dee's last show with The Ramones was a little over a month later on July 5, 1989 in Santa Clara, California.
I wonder if this is the last video of Dee Dee before leaving the band?

Multi purpose room at Cal State Long Beach,can't imagine how loud it was in there
I viewed their tour diaries,they played 7 times in southern CA on this tour in June including the country club twice,the night after this show and again in June 25th,The Ramones,pied pipers of punk

It's a college campus,alot of bands played there back in the day, probably got booked by the student union,Ramones are more popular now than they were then,it wasn't like they were playing 20,000 seat basketball arenas,that was part of their charm back then,you could see them at a 500 seat club,or 3000 seat theatre
