LET'S GO into Commando, i always loved the "End of the Century" Ramones era. Fans didn't like the Specter influence, but there are strong tracks on that album, and the Ramones are the only band that could pull off some of those songs in 1980.
Fuck yea...ending the show w/ Carbona not Glue! The best version I've heard so far of this song! Joey's slight Melody change on the 2nd verse is brilliant....
Second time I saw them at Newcastle City Hall was the EOTC Tour 1980. Bunked off school, signed my EOTC Album and a plectrum from Johnny. Always remember them playing Let’s Go (amongst others) during Soundcheck. Out of all the Ramones shows (11 in total) and all the bands I’ve ever seen live Im gonna say the Ramones EOTC Tour 1980 at Newcastle was the best concert I have been to in my life.
was at this show - was in london w/nash and i showed up in the afternoon and the ramones showed up and i blew their mind as i was sitting front row center when they arrived and it blew their minds i was there TRUE STORY - its in my book
Yes, it is at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on October, 2 1980. You are wrong on this one, just like my other Ramones video you were wrong on. So sorry. I personally taped it off the soundboard in London on the evening October, 2 1980, at the show...and now you can enjoy it! If you have this show with any other location listed, it is incorrect.
I think you are right, I remember the Ramones gig at Hammersmith Odeon being cancelled, I was standing outside, I think it was rescheduled at the Electric ballroom.
@@streetteams are you sure, I remember a Ramones gig at Hammersmith Odeon being cancelled (I'd previously seen them their on (October 2nd 1978) and I'm pretty sure it was rescheduled to the electric ballroom.
