I LOVE this performance of this song, every band member brought their "A Game." Thank you so much for reacting to this song and outstanding performance.
One of the best live version of this song, it's great. Freddie had a healthy sense of Queen's greatness, and always knew they would become a major band. Freddie signed every autograph that was asked of him by a fan, and told his staff to always treat Queen fans kindly, he told them if it wasn't for the fans he would be nothing. Freddie was a kind man Great reaction
Никем ? !
Yes it is true. Freddie was a very kind loyal humble person. Deaky (John) and also Phoebe (Peter) have said that when Freddie performs, he would do it with his entire body, he absolutely gave everything he had.. and after every performance, he was so exhausted to the point that he could barely move until he got some rest. God bless him and his love for Queen fans. ♥️🌠
Brian wrote this song while at university about a girl in his biology class that he had a crush on but was too shy to talk to her and ask her out. By the time he mustered the courage she was already dating someone else. Brian was reading The White Goddess around this time from which he drew inspiration in the way he wrote the lyrics.
Perfection. Freddie playing is mesmerizing. Just such an impressive performance, each of them compliments the others so perfectly. Hard to believe this song is 50 years old now 👑
I love this song so much there’s so much to it and it’s so beautiful it tells a whole story beautifully written and Freddie just wow no one can sing like him and no one ever will again we truly lost a legend when we lost him and we lost him from something so horrible breaks my heart no one deserved to die from that terrible disease
“…oh wait, and bass”…??? GinMae dear, how could you even briefly forget my *precious* John “Deacy/Deaky” Deacon ?! Oh well, I never forget his presence 😊
This is my favourite version of White Queen so thanks for doing it. It really is phenomenal! I love that you as a hip-hop artiste appreciates this totally different type of music! ❤
One of the best live performances by Queen! 👸 It’s hauntingly gorgeous with the magical meshing of Brian’s guitar & Freddie’s piano work! 🎹 IMO, it takes a page right out of a Tolkien book 📖🧝🏻♀️✨ Thank you again! On the Queen II album the song is part of a 3-song transition - PROCESSION/FATHER TO SON/WHITE QUEEN .. Please check it out! 🌿
Great reaction to White Queen. You really should react to the original studio version of ‘Somebody to Love’ to see that it is totally different from the live 1981 Montreal performance….also, the live performance of this song in Milton Keynes 1982 is really worth a look. Back to back reactions would be great.
This is one of the Queen's favorite songs. What's even more impressive here besides Freddie's beautiful voice is his combination with Brian. Freddie who plays the Piano (and has no formal education on this instrument) and Brian on the guitar. It's just so good. You cannot underestimate the skills and talents of each member. They are truly amazing. Thank you Prada for a great reaction!♥👑❤
Gorgeous performance and I adore the piano and guitar dance with one another. ❤You are right too Freddie’s voice is 🙏! Try: See What A Fool I’ve Been, or Who Needs You. Both are Queen gems like this one White Queen, March Of The Black Queen and Lily of the Valley
I think I may have suggested this before but in case I didn’t listen to I Can Hear Music and Goin Back which was released under the name Larry Lurex. Trident Studio wanted to tinker with the wall of sound concept and asked Freddie to record a couple of covers. Freddie wouldn’t record covers under his name so he made up the name Larry Lurex, a play on the name Gary Glitter who was a singer at the time. Brian and Roger were on the tracks as well. They recorded these before their first album.
Now you need to be introduced to Nightwish. A band from Finland. Symphonic metal. Try starting with Live at Wacken 2013 Ghost Love Score. And meet Floor Jansen! A long and deep rabbit hole. If you play it, Gabriel will come and guide you on this journey.
Queen is never better than Freddie and the Red Special dueting, or Brian and Freddie on Gitar and piano weaving together...... Freddie was on another planet during that part... Mercury perhaps?
There are so much songs you havent heard yet. A bit waste of time of you react to songs of them you already heard😉 They have over 200 songs so you have a long way to go😁 Check out Innuendo, Was it All Worth it, One Vision and Now i'm here😊
Love the conversation between the piano and Brian’s guitar. Boy you never hear anything like that anymore.
YES - this! thanks!
Yes!!!! Incredible!

Agreed 👍🏼
@PradaWest A really different couple of songs: for Highlander, written by Brian for the villian: "Gimme the Prize", and " Mustapha"

Freddie is now a God. In 100 years the pantheon of Rock will have him as a pillar.

The instrumental piece is my ring tone. Friend: why didn’t you answer your phone? Me: was listening to the song as it rang lol
lol that would be me so mesmerized by the song
Another live version you should watch is Queen “You take my breath away” live at Hyde Park

Gary Glitter turned out to be a disgusting creep who, hopefully, is still incarcerated
Great song from freddy ❤
The song White Man

'Somebody to love' if you haven't don it yet.
Please review The March of the Black Queen. Thanks.
That's a great suggestion, I'll check it out!

I still say you need to checkout Led Zeppelin, I’ll say they are the greatest band, The GODS Of MUSIC!
