Japan has been responsible for producing some of my favorite things in the whole wide world. From Cartoons, to snacks, toys, video games, cars, and aftermarket wheels. The Japanese domestic market is already large here in America, and it only seems to be growing. Especially in the car scene. Now more than ever do i see a plethora of rare, expensive, and most importantly, exclusive JDM wheels at car shows, and for good reason. That’s exactly what we’re here to talk about. Enkie rpo-1. They were so good!!! First wheels i ever bought. Not the lightest, but looked soooooo good.
Super Advan Sa3r is the ultimate wheel. Tri spokes are so cool.

Volk TE37s look so good that even other wheel companies make reps of it. So that tells you how good a brand Volk is.

Watanabe rs-racing's. A 3 piece wheel from I think the 90s. It has a really subtle but good looking 6 spoke face. I've only ever seen it in 16s and 17s. Not that there's much info though because there's 2 sets online, one single that popped up on croooober and a set on my car.
Work Equip 05 is iconic to add to your tasteful list. Maybe even the Super Advan Version 2 tri-spoke on certain JDM cars.
Wait wait where is the RPF1?!
I think I'm on my 3rd set of white TE37s. I have a set of Nismo or Ray's LMGT4 The AVS -5 are hot , and the Buddy Club P-1 were the first wheel I noticed in Japan. The SSR MS-1 or BBS LM if I'm lucky would be my next choice if I can afford an BNR34 but an R35 is more realistic.
please give us more ranked lists with wheels like best wheels for under 1000, or best beadlocks, idk stuff like that!
My top 5 favorite wheels are the Work Meister S1, Work Meister M1, Enkei RS05RR, Vossen CVT, and SSR Longchamps just my favorite not the ones I think are the most iconic but just ones I really love I’m overly picky about wheels and these are some of my favorites

I use to have a set of blitz 03 on a 95 acura legend ls coupe back around 07 o8 and they were so fire. I regret selling them 😪

A.M.E. Circlar Spec R. I had a set on my '91 MR2. People would literally point at the wheels and give me a thumbs up.
To be fair, the Watanabe came out a year after the Minilite came out...
Splitting hairs though, and while you can still get Minilite, their business has dropped off a lot.

My first rims were watanabes in my 86 pulsar,. Growing up in new zealand we saw many many jdms,. Those square ones were common in datsuns rotas etc,. Aimgains make some nice proper rims,. Also missing are vip rims like weds baz etc
