This is definetely the best youtube channel for finding cheap apartments! I am so tired of all these rich people talking about their $450/month apartment in Dumaguete and Valencia. Many Americans only make $900/month from their social security. They do not have much money to live on.

If you live in an urban location then expect noise. Its a way of life here. dogs, videoke, occassional roosters, trikes. If you want peace and quiet, move to a farm or way out in the jumgle.
Absolutely love your entertaining blogs. Just a note on the voltage problems. No device advertising to correct low voltage unless it has a battery that can supply the power needed will work. The best solution I've used is turning the power off your house when the voltage goes low and then delaying the re-connection to protect from the high voltage when the suppy recovers., this needs to be discussed with your landlord. Voltage regulators don't do it unless they are power rated to supply the load of the device you are protecting. Love your sense of humour.

If i can tell my best advice, first it can be SUPER good to have friends around looking for you to find the cheapest house for rent, as exemple a friend of us find us a 3 bedrooms, 2 big living room, 1 kitchen, 1 dinning room, 1 dirty kitchen, 3 parking lot carpot for 3k only monthly. Yes we ar far from the beachs, but we save so much on the rent that we can go to the beach as we wish, it's only 2-3 hours by car. We are in Central Luzon. I learn here in the Philippines ''sharing is carring'' ... we share a lot with our friends, and without asking they are carring us.
