after you cleaned the tank, you put the filter back into the tank before you ran vinegar and water combination. I suggest you Never run vinegar through the charcoal filter. …Run the vinegar through the machine and Then replace OR reinstall the existing filter. :)

It is amazing what comes out of the machine when the vinegar runs through. I clean the removal parts frequently depending on use.

Thank you for you clear and thorough explanation of each step of the procedure. Just one q:
it looks like the filter holder (and the filter?) are installed before you run the white vinegar/water mix, is that correct?
(Please forgive my ignorance. Obviously this is why I’m watching a tutorial on cleaning the Keurig.)
    Thank you so much!

An old toothbrush is good for getting into the small spaces, where Mr. G uses a paper towel.

What is your opinion on this my original Keurig that I had probably back in 2015 had us us use vinegar to de-scale it but the instruction said to leave it in for four hours then run it through the machine and then run filtered cold water through the machine

Yes - I have done that as well. Just make sure to replace the filter and get all the vinegar out!

A very small round brush could help also.

The container you put water in. You're supposed to take the charcoal filter out.😂😂😂
