Remember the one where Miley got shoe polish on the daughter's communion dress.....calamity, I was getting my own holy communion at the time and was completely sucked in.
I remember when they axed George in Glenroe. They had him go on some kind of expedition to Peru and they had a newsreader come on the telly(in the programme) and announce that hed been kidnapped and murdered by rebels.Think they even had a real RTE newsreader, maybe Ann Doyle or someone like that.Think Alan Stanford might have left and they were desperate to come up with a way of explaining Georges absence.
Thank you for sharing this. These Glenroe episodes are the kind of family drama that soaps don't care about anymore.
The level of acting is excellent! We can relate to every character!
30 years ago!!! Well holy GOD!!
Ah Sunday nights will never be the same again!!
That priest would always rock up on his bicycle out of nowwhere :D :D
Please load up more episodes!!!
I can't believe that Glenroe was cancelled, yet that atrocious dirge Fair City is still on...
A bit struck by the high standard of acting in this, when compared to almost any soap opera you'll come across on TV these days that is.
very good loved it
