    Have you not just killed those poor yeast with such hot milk? And isn't flaxseed taste bad in baking?

      No to both. You need hot milk (not boiling) and I use Bob's Red Mill golden flaxseed meal which I think has a very neutral taste

      As long as it’s below 140° it won’t kill the yeast. That’s fresh McDonald’s coffee temperature, 🤷🏻‍♀️ so it’s pretty daggone hot. 😊
      Flaxseed can also take the place of eggs and help reduce the need for added fats in a recipe. It is a neutral to pleasant tasting ingredient, when baked.

      You can try. If you do add the milk in small amounts until you get the right consistency. I can't guarantee it will work but it's worth a try

    How to substitute for a different flour

    • @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen
      @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen  6 місяців тому +1

      You can try substiting with coconut flour. I gave a little description in the video on how to do that. I don't know that this will work with almond flour or other flours. The only suggestion I can make is if you try another flour other than coconut flour when it comes time to mix in the milk add it in small amounts until you get the right consistency but I can't guarantee any substitutes will work.
