    brother ,try this :activate the starter from the relay but have someone inside to turn the key to crank.then you can decide which route to take after. i had a similar problem and tried cranking from the front and the vehicle wouldn't start because the pcm never saw a cranking signal

      Hi, I have done this, with the relay grounded manually the truck will crank in crank position. Does not work because pcm never activated from skim.

      looks like a bad pcm .your security is clear and your cranking circuit is clear,i don't see that you missed anything @@globalcommerce7654

    I can help you out. The reason it doesn't crank is because the PCM and the Immo module are not compatible with each other. That's why there is no Immo light. The 05 Durango is CAN1 while the SKIM module is probably CAN4, or some other version of CAN. The SKIM can't understand what the PCM is saying, they're talking different languages. They are both CAN's but different "dialects" or "flavors" of CAN. For an 06 Durango you need a SKIM that is also CAN1. A clue is that the SKIMS were different part numbers. I don't know from what car the donor SKIM came from. They can be different part numbers, but as long as they're the same CAN type.
    Compatible CAN1 modules are 04 to mid 06 Durango, 05-06 Grand Cherokee, 05-06 Dakota, 06 Commander. Some 300 and chargers are also CAN1 but the shape of the SKIM is different.
    I had the same problem with some RAMs, when teh client brought me some SKIMs that were not compatible. The Immo light didn't turn on, till I had a compatible SKIM, then the light turned on, programed a key and did the PCM relearn.
    I've learned a lot from you. Hope this helps. We all learn from each other.
    EDIT: I checked the part munbers of the two SKIMs you showed, and cross checked them with chryslerjeepdodgecityofmckinney.com and it seems both are for an Durango and Dakota 05-06. So they should work.
    One important thing. Check with a test light at the SKIM connector and verify that it is getting 12 volt constant on the RED wire AS WELL AS 12 volt on the ignition switched Pink/Grey wire. If the Pink/grey ignition wire is not powered on, the scan tool will still communicate, but the PCM will not communicate with the SKIM and therefore the light will be off. One more thing. Test the donor module first by plugging it in and see if the IMMO light will come on and the skim communicate with the scanner. then you can clone it.

      Excellent post! I went up to that area for part 3! Both replacement skims were from 05 durango, they are different #s I believe because one doesn't have security and the other does, after further research I believe if this durango is original (cluster, pcm,skim) it did not have security that's why no codes (and no light! Details in part 3!) were thrown with bad key, replacement module of same part# also threw no codes unprogrammed to keys and pcm!
      Powers/ground were fully tested at skim on part1 of this video
      Part3 we go to pcm testing/ donor pcm!

    I think I’ve seen before that sometimes you have to do a pcm reset to get it talking back to a skreem

      i post too many videos, i cant keep up. It sounds like your 2002 Dodge Ram might have a fuel delivery problem or a sensor issue. If it starts and then cuts out after 30 seconds, it could be the fuel pump, a clogged filter, or even something with the ignition system. I’d recommend checking those first

    Does the truck turn on if you power pin 87 on the starter relay? If it doesn’t start that’s a good sign that the truck is still immobilized. 🤔

      If I ground the relay it will crank no start, the pcm is supposed to ground it for crank..but it is not grounding..

    Why not just perform WCM OR SKREEM REPLACE IN SCAN TOOL ?

    Figure this out for a T1N Sprinter and you'll have a brisk business. The SREEM's die all the time in those.
