When I was thinking about this initially, having a water bucket instead of a placed water source would make it a lot more close to minecraft difficulty than this version. You would be able to create a pool big enough to fish in to start off with, and you could get the demolitionist from bomb fish.

I've always wanted a minimal skyblock for terraria. None of that "spider. marble, hell, ocean biomes still exist" nonsense. This is gonna be a good one.

One important thing to note is that this specific map layout goes as extreme as possible, with minimal resources whenever possible. I would likely track the suggestions on how to make a more balanced map with a chest with goodies (since stuff like waiting 5 hours for slimes to drop something is quite overrated) That said, I have a specific issue to solve in a playthrough: life crystals farming. It is technically possible to do by fishing up Golden Crates, but it will take about 50 hours to get full health, which is frankly a waste of time. A current plan is to grant a Life Crystal per unique boss kill, but if you disagree with that or have a more fitting idea, comment below!

Technically this isn't true, he just got very lucky with the slime staff drop here. Slimes have 1/20 chance to spawn with a bonus item. For the item to be a bomb is a 1/16 chance. So 1/320 or a 0.3% drop rate. Slime staff is 1/10000 or .01%, roughly 30 times rarer.
After doing a run of this world with friends (recreated in TEdit), I can say that this entire run is possible without dupes given that you move the Lihzahrd walls ~70 tiles horizontally away from the altar, as otherwise lihzahrds cannot spawn. It took us around 30 hours of mostly fishing to be able to beat the wall of flesh, and from there another 15-20 hours to kill the moon lord.
@@fargus6172 assuming you can prevent fall damage (build a rope down) you can run on the empty floor of hell and fire up to the offscreen eyes and mouth and eventually kill it. alternatively you can place thousands of planter boxes near the top of hell and see the bottom eye and kill it that way. we did it in an expert small world btw.

@@Makitru People really mistaken Snatchers to Man Eaters because they look the same. You can differentiate them by hovering via mouse or item drops (Man Eaters drop Vine).

But, with some balancing, like making some items more accessible (but still in a unique way) or just spend less time trying to get them, it would be really fun.
Can't wait for when CrabBar realizes that lihzahrd enemies can only spawn on offscreen lihzahrd tiles while you're in front of natural lihzahrd background walls, meaning that it's impossible for him to get power cells and defeat golem.
You can mine the walls but they only spawn on naturally spawned walls meaning the game itself spawned them even tho mining the walls or crafting them look exactly the same

How to defeat this challenge: 1. Try and get a dirt bomb 2. Dupe water or painfully farming in underworld for lava and then fish for wet bomb (lava slimes drop lava in expert and master mode and yes CrabBar is in expert or maybe master mode) 3. Make a place for underground corrupt/crimson and hallow cuz u need it for boss summon items (or u can just afk until they spawn on their own) 4. Enter hardmode and *fish* 5. Defeat mech bosses and make a underground jungle biome (u can craft mud block if u have dirt block in inventory and near a sink or water) 6. Golem 7. Wait where do the cultist spawn? 8. Pillars and moon lord

It seems like crafting a sticky dirt bomb would of been helpful, having it stick to a lone block floating in the air. That way it's certain to explode away from almost anything that would prevent dirt from being created, getting you 56 dirt blocks.

It seems like crafting a sticky dirt bomb would of been helpful, having it stick to a lone block floating in the air. That way it's certain to explode away from almost anything that would prevent dirt from being created, getting you 56 dirt blocks.

@@CrabBar I tested it in my world, and if they explode with blocks nearby, it will spawn less dirt, but if it explodes in the air, you get 56 blocks of dirt
