    I remember using a wobble board after my ankle injury was healed - based on one of your old videos (I think 7 years ago!). Still use the board - has definitely strengthened my ankles.

    I rolled my ankle/foot recently and couldn't bear weight on the foot. I immediately wrapped it with an ace bandage, put ice on it and elevated it. Then I did cold laser therapy on the foot every 3 hours. Plus DMSO applied to the foot. The next day the foot was sore and somewhat bruised but I could walk and it was almost like nothing happened.

    Been suffering with ankle sprains since forever and recently I've been using three accessories to help rehab and prevention. Dunno if they're going to be able to help but if anyone else is desperate for something different like I was right after my last big sprain 6 weeks ago, here they are:
    - Ankle Roll Guard;
    - Ultra Ankle;
    - Adidas Adizero Speedwrap.
    I hate that my ankle is as bad as it is. Good luck to all!

      my growth plates I hate them because I have Severs disease and I’m about to be put in a boot yay-

    Sprained my ankle 2+ years ago. Inverted it. Had a problem where I had a clicking on the side of my ankle when I went down steps, posterior side of the ankle, near the achilles tendon, took 3 months for that to go away. Still occasionally aches. Massaging helps.

    Last year July at Dunn River Falls I sprained my ankle it swell instantly I was out of work for a Month, to this day I still get swelling

    Thanks for your videos. They are helpful. Do you have any videos on diastasis recti? I’ve never had kids and only have a small gap. I’ve done heal slides and similar exercises and am aware of my breathing and proper core activation but how do you strengthen the TVA in an intermediate phase so that my abs don’t dome during harder core exercises? I would love to see a video on this thanks!

    Sprained my ankle 3 years ago. Still hurts sometimes. I do sports and stretch my ankle, but it doesnt help. 3 years. Crazy.

      Two yrs for me. Have to be careful to not over do it, or it hurts again. I re wrap it and rest. Helps. But I'm ALWAYS at risk for re injury

      35 yrs for me, lol! Edema and pain if I don't wear expensive stability sport shoes. Wish I could wear loafers again and be able to exercise more as I get old. I'm going to try these techniques!

    i have never sprain my ankle but my right foot beds when i walk so i have to use a leg brace to keep it stright i forgot whats the condition is called

    I m an athlete, I have a problem achiles tendinitis from last two years . I could run then. and now I feel better now but I think a bit of pain is still there. Does this injury affect my cricket career?

    i have used something similar to that one. I have been in a boot twice, the lace one twice and then an ankle brace/sleeve while walking because of my balance. I have done it the outwards way before and never inwards. would I be at risk doing it again since i have a weak ankle

    I've just gone over on my ankle playing football, I can walk on it with a standard wrap brace, but I've got a charity game on Saturday. What can I do to be game ready? I'm not sure if it's even a grade 1 strain.

    Love your videos! I have a question. Would wearing the laced brace during trail running be recommended to prevent injuries and not impact joint mobility in long term? I only do short trail running twice a week but it’s up and down the hill. I’m recovering from sprained ankle (I’ve done it when trail running) and I’m wondering whether getting one for my healthy foot too would help me prevent future sprains.

    Am I correct in assuming that if you strengthen your ankles with exercises you can decrease the chances of spraining your ankles? I'm reminded of the ankle exercises you've shown in other videos such as the 'shuffling' exercise (alternating lifting your toes and then heals while shuffling to the side) and also alternating lifting up on your toes and then your heels.

      Yes, but more than strengthening, you need to work on your balance. What happens when you sprain your ankle is that the ligaments get injured. They're a big source of proprioceptive input for your body (which tells you what position your ankle is in). So you gotta work on them to get them back to usual.

    Four days ago my left ankle sprained. This is what the report says after taking X-rays.
    (* Bone density is normal .
    * No fracture line is seen .
    * Joint spaces are normal.
    * SOFT TISSUE SWOLLEN AROUND THE LEFT ANKLE JOINT IS SEEN.)

      That's vary common. Just remember it could always be worse. Theres a type of injury motorcyclers get where all the bones in the foot are broken as well as the small bones on top of foot. It's crazy.

    Umm, my ankle is currently sprained & it’s been 3 weeks since I injured it. It’s currently elevated & hurting like hell! My ankle & foot look like they don’t belong on my body - they’re swollen & bruised (black & blue). 7/6/19 @ 9:06P.

      I wanna be FIT! Hang in there! I had a terrible sprain earlier this year. It was excruciating and I was unable to bear weight for weeks. It’s a long recovery but it will get better.

      First, if has not gotten any better in 3 weeks, you have to immobilize the ankle so it can heal. I would suggest a CAM walking boot. Connective tissue is very slow healing. It is very difficult to heal enough at night to make up for the damage you are doing during the day. As they say, if you want to get out of a hole, you have to stop digging.
