- Apple Vision Pro is far from perfect. It's constantly being compared the the Meta Quest and other Vr Headsets. Its features and AppStore are lacking but will we get SharePlay in this new update?

Wait, AVP makes me feel MORE “isolated”?? SOLD!!!👍🏽🔥🙌🏾
Hahaha me too
AVP still registers in my brain as “Alien vs Predator”
@@zenquantum1246me too
yep me 2
I have the AVP (as of last Friday), and am falling more and more in love with it. I look at the AVP as being in its "first trimester". It's been out for a fraction of a second and reviewers are already moaning about what's missing, rather than exploring what its got! The AVP has the potential to be mind-blowing!
Wait a month. It'll change most likely.
I agree, they will simplify & improve sensors - thereby needing less parts. The original HomePod has SEVEN tweeters.
One person’s “isolation” is someone else’s “focus”.
Great video. I doubt Apple lost many sales. People knew whether they would keep it or not when they bought it. I don’t think they priced this for mass consumption. This version is for businesses, developers and early adopters looking for the best virtual experience in various areas. One user heavily into 3D movies with a $5k 3D and a 85 inch OLED said the Vision Pro replaced both. I’m very excited to hear what the developers, enthusiasts and business sectors will change in this product.
A $2800 MacBook is for mass consumption😂
@@My-by you do know the MacBook is still one of the bestsellers despite it’s price right? Besides the Air is only $999.
I have had an Apple Corporate account for the last 9 years. I've worked with a dev team on Microsoft's HoloLens. $4k is a mere tax write-off business expense. I thought I was going to keep it, as a matter of fact I returned the 256GB version for the 512GB version. With all that being said the novelty wore off fast and when it did I realized that it's not quite ready yet even for the type of development my team is looking to do (government applications).
So I returned it, and I'll keep in tune with the new iterations of VisionOS and when it gets to a point that's satisfactory for what I'm trying to do, I'll purchase it again. To me, returns will be the best thing to happen for the AVP and its subsequent iterations...because it will let Apple now that there's demand for more capabilities.
@@kpperry784 ok, that sounds great for your needs. I doubt sending it back will say much to Apple, they know the numbers and had to assume a ton of Influencers would “borrow” one for content. Apple pretty much delivered on everything they promised at the Keynote. The people who kept it, are reporting bugs and using the feedback portal will be very helpful for engineers and developers to create more features. The Vision Pro is about to get even more interesting.

I was surprised that they didn't make the front screens controllable and customizable. It should show a blue sky with clouds drifting by if that's what you want. Seems like it should be easy enough. Binocular vision would be cool as well. Also, since you have to carry some big battery around anyway, maybe some of the computer could also go in your pocket to lighten the goggles.
I don’t really consider this a leak because I seen it on apples own site, it was in all the developer videos that explain how to develop for Apple vision pro
Smaller side, less weight, lower price and #1 is field of view needs to be as wide as Quest 3 or wider.
I'd like to see upgrades to the outward looking cameras so that the finger could be used for pointing (i.e., the cursor) instead of the gaze. Pinch to click, grab to drag, even while looking somewhere else.
Shared activity starting at 3.5k per person.
Glad meta now has real competition now cuz I feel like zuk was playing safe with a lot of things now that people see the vision (pun intended) the battle has now begun
I completely agree
They are not a direct competitor, not yet. AVP is 7x more than quest 3 . Its like saying a Honda is competing with a Lamborghini.
I know right. Returned my Quest3 in jan bc it was a glorify Quest2 period. Now starting to see more hint of improvement of the ui and experience with gaze, body tracking, more serious avatar maybe etc .. but still many month ago. I keep an eye hoping they drop the 128 and release a 256 like they did with quest2 from 64 to 128.
I do think and know Meta have a lot up there sleave. I'm just dissapointed in Meta releasing the Quest Pro the way it was, when the technology was available. At least the Quest line has been good. I'm desperate for a PCVR high-end headset that isn't a Varjo or Pimax box being strapped to your head. BigScreen Beyond doesn't cut it either and is too limiting for a device with a high-end price tag.
@@delick01 yea it’s 2 different things but it’s pushing the future forward
I love the VP … I used for 10 days and returned due to comfort issues. Missed so much I reordered after 3 days. It’ll be here Monday and I can’t wait. Hopefully either Apple or a third party will develop a more comfortable strap .
Take it into an Apple Store and try on different light seals. Mine was unbearable but after changing to a 33W from a 25W it is much more comfortable 👍🏽
3d printer bro. 3d printer. lol
Seriously, 3D printer. I printed attachments to hook it up to the bobovr m2 strap, and it’s perfectly comfortable.
Look up the “solotop” - great adapter to use another solo band to distribute weight
how'd you miss something that has nothing but mobile apps available on it?
Wait a second! You’re the Tesla UA-camr! Ahh great. Now I have to subscribe to this channel too. Haha. LOVE IT!
For in person meetings, I could see a mode where it would forbid FaceTime calls because the AI on the neural engine sees and hears “oh, you’re in the room with this person. Rather than doing FaceTime, we will allow sharing of apps but when you turn to look at that person, I will part the Red Sea so your apps would still be open but you’d be looking directly at the person” and maybe superimposing the eyes or something over top of their vision units… maybe?
We need a new big screen app and something like Horizon World's for AVP.
What will be the ‘Killer App’ for Apple Vision? Spatial video?
U can already do share play on Quest with tabletop games like Demeo or games like minigolf and table tennis, also, dungons and dragons is announced
Great convo! Thank you !
Will there be an interim upgrade with the M3 chip?
Can't get this thought out of my head. If its that easy to upgrade the recently announced M2 Air body with an M3 chip... ? Could this not be within a year?
The title of this video is so missleading. The only think that's leaked here is that the new version is at least 18 months out which confirms absolutely nothing!
Google Glass is 10+ years ago at this point. The days are long, but the years are short...
I enjoyed Glass. I burst a bloodvessel in my right eye twice but other than that... it was cool.
u can do shared ar apps with ipads and iphones since 5 years ago
We don’t need more virtual environment, we need to keep the AR, and for that reason Apple should keep the Eyes. The spatial computing that Apple envisioned let you interact freely with other people through excellent pass through. Maybe the eye can be improved but certainly not gimmicky, it’s necessary for the isolation problem you mention. It is to ‘de-isolate’ you.
dud when are those apple vision pro are coming in Norway?????
Pro tip: use the dual strap.
I didn’t like the dual strap. 3D printing adapters to use a bobovr m2 strap is perfect tho. It’s an extra 30 bucks for the bobo, but it’s well worth it.
It needs a center strap to lift it up at the nose for people with low bridges.
Pro Max Ultra tip: who cares 😅
That looks like a perfect implementation foundation.
It would be cool if there was a way to drop AR assets onto the real world, and have everyone else see it.
They showed Freeform for group whiteboarding in share play.
can't wait for the apple vision SE.. ho hum..
I just feel people can role play games such as Djumanji with AVP’s full body persona feature
I want one that look's like Geordi La Forge's visor in Star Trek
its all about the money! it has to be perfect for $4K , was very cool but not perfect
And the is no AI functions o the M2 processor but the Qualcomm chip in the Quest 3 has AI built into it as I have looked and the full benchmarks between both so it might effect this version of the headset
Even the iPhones has more than double AI capability like the best Snapdragon flagship chip (and the chip in the quest is not that flagship chip..), and if you know the M2 chip basically a doubled A15 iPhone chip, it means it was already better in AI before they doubled it, so why do you think it's got worst after they doubling the chip..? A15 has 2 power cores and M2 has 4 power cores (same like A14->M1), A15 has 5 GPU cores and M2 10 GPU cores (A14 had 4, M1 had 8, so +1 GPU core in the phone, and +2 GPU core in M2). You can do AI benchmarks on the chip too.. maybe you will nit find a benchmark for the Vision Pro, but the chip itself the same like in the Macbook Air, and there you can find AI benchnarks.
Why do people keep talking about the price? iPhones are 1500+ MacBook pros 17 inch or 2500+ so what makes people think this type of technology would be sold for $2000 or less it makes no sense. Nothing Apple makes is cheap. I have one of these and it’s amazing. I wouldn’t expect them to price it any cheaper in comparison to their other products.
I disagree. Where do you get "iPhones are 1500+?" That's basically the price of the maxed out most expensive iPhone you can get. People probably spend and average of something like $900, and that's already VERY expensive compared to the average people pay for a phone. I bought my perfectly good M2 MacBook Air last year for $1500, and I intend to use it for 8+ years. What's important is how much people are ready to invest per year on average, not how much "the most expensive possible" product is.
The more expensive a product is, the longer people expect it to last and the more they wait to buy a new model. That's what happened with iPhones, that cost more and more but in parallel people keep them longer and longer.
There is a price balance point where you max out profits and $3500 to à $4500 is definitely way above this. It's just a price to make people see it as a luxury product, before they release a more reasonable "Vision Light" (or whatever it'll be called) price.
Also, for now the VP isn't "supperior" to a MacBook. In certain aspects it's between an iPad and a MacBook. In others it's lower than even an iPhone (because iPhones at least have a fully functional USB port that allows pros to use it for photography/cinematography. Vision Pro has no functional USB port, it's only for charging)
@@JonasViatteyou nailed it perfectly. Exactly my point, yeah it’s amazing but if you just blindly buy products just because it’s cool, the company will capitalize on it and won’t make available for general demography. And the companies will have this notion that people are just willing to spend that sort of money.
Apparently apple are released 2 different headsets next year and one will be under $1000 to compete with Meta and the Quest 3 as it is Apple's main competition at its the best selling headset on the market and the other headset will be $2500 and will be the successor to the Vision Pro and the other apparently is going to use a A processor like the iPhone and iPads and Apple is apparently dropping eye sight on all headsets going forward
@@jdarg4163 sounds like another rumor or prediction to me. If Apple was that close to releasing a model $2000 and under, I think they would’ve waited instead of releasing this model. if they do release a model cheaper than this one, it probably would not have all the specs and abilities that this one has. The processor to this one to drop by almost $1500 within one year is highly unlikely. Apple never moves fast with anything.
@@JonasViatte the cost of the iPhone I’m relating to are the ones that I buy, which are the max pros with high storage capacity. as far as the MacBook I brought a MacBook Pro 17 inch and it was over $2500. I also own the Vision Pro and it is not a replacement for the MacBook nor the iPhone, but it is by far one of the best apple products I have purchased since I purchased the original iPhone. So my personal opinion, it is worth the $3700 I spent to buy one in comparison to my iPhone Pro and my MacBook Pro And my iPad Pro 12 inch , which was almost $2000 as well. At the end of the day, people complain about the price because most people are either extremely tight and don’t want to spend that kind of money on anything or they just don’t have that type of money to spend. $3700 is a far reach for most people so I understand why people complain about it but don’t downplay the product because you don’t want to spend the money.
Wow just come out already a new one coming i wonder if the quantum internet will make things this run with all the hardware in the cloud just have the glasses on
I am an Apple product fan. I have IPhone 15, 2020 16” MacBook Pro, IPad Pro, Apple Watch, I use Apple Music and TV. I wanted to get the VP, but at nearly $5,000.00 with 1TB, Apple Care (cracked screens) and sales tax, that is a pretty expensive 1st Gen product.
I can’t get over how perfect that man’s head is shaped
Bro was NOT dropped as a baby
One more thing... In typical VR headsets you have to map out the Room to play.... So, two or mare people in the same Living Room would have to Map out the same SPACE and not collide! lol
Or, they can all go into separate rooms, in the same house and map out a space in that room and then play together inside a VR headset... That's togetherness..
Or they goo into separate rooms put on VR headsets and watch the same movie together.... at home! Togetherness not alone!!!
Great idea!!!!! lol
bigger fov
I loved this product but had to return it. I had back pain and wanted to lie down and watch content with this without having a laptop on my stomach. The pain was intense in this position as it was like having an iron on my face. I also got headaches especially when watching 3d content with motion.
Most Vision Pro users have never used another VR headset before. Can’t blame them when they felt the magic and for getting duped 😅
i have tested both. vision is really another thing. could never get hooked on vr headses. tried it multiple times and i knew it will end up in a corner unused if i were to buy it. i tried vision pro once and knew i would like to spend more time in there. i didn't felt as isolated having that passthrough which really helped. the navigation in the os was also so so so much more user-friendly and intuitive compared to every other headset. i really wanna work in that thing. while other headsets felt like a consol this felt like a new category of computer with which i could do so much more
These pics aren’t “leaks” lol those are pics from developer documentation. And those aren’t people with legs like the pics show, they are windowed personas that align in those different ways. Try game room or jig space with SharePlay
I’ve actually had an experience where I felt more of a personal connection when talking to my dad in Vision Pro since I could see his eyes. I didn’t feel as closed off from him, so for me it actually worked and I didn’t expect it to.
I feel bad for those who get sick, they’re missing an experience
Those who get sick get 2 experiences. The normal one, and the sick one.
Its K - Tan. And you are right price is ridiculous period! Its about 5K$ Canadian. Are you kididng me? I am a huge VR nerd and too me a while to digest Quest Pro at 1.5K$ usd when it came out in oct22 - I convinced myself a good 6 months later on rebate for 1200$ and it was pushing my limit. NEVER in a million year I would pay 5K for vr specially no controller, no battery inside etc etce tc etc.
No. You can not go back on the panels. These are must have. They really need to get better
So they r already doing a v2 so they just expect u to pay 3500$ on one every 18 months and if they r already coming out with the gen 2 does that mean they r just gonna stop support for the first gen . Which brings up the fact of how long r they gonna support each gen of this r u gonna pay 3500$ for something that they only support for like 18 months
Who said they will stop supporting the 1st gen..? Just check the iOS 15.8 update, it's an update a few months ago, for the iPhone 6s and later phones.. even if they are only promising 4-5 years of updates, they still give the updates for 8 years (iPhone 6s from Sept 2015, and still got update at Oct 2023..)
I subscribed because of this video 👍
Great program. To return, mine will be crazy. It is a fabulous product. Compared with the cheap FaceBook (Meta) as was described is comparing Apple with pears or a Porsche with a Kia. The other issue is privacy. Facebook has a terrible record.
I think they're eventually going to have to embrace games and add controllers for it to actually come out of the early adoption curve and transition into early majority, they should make it easy for developers to port their games over. The way I see it, the majority and mean wide majority of users of VR and AR are gamers, if they want them to come over they need to embrace gaming and connectivity
People are so unabashedly just pointing their phones at each other to film these days that I wonder if that “you filming me right now bro” concern from the google glass era is not going to be a thing this time around.
Leery?
it would seem this combination of TSMC substrate and Sony LED deposition is costing $700 for the displays alone on this thing …. And it’s a 50% yield rate at the moment. …so it’s no wonder the prices higher than people expect ….the displays themselves are as much as a whole headset.of lesser quality
No eyesight has to stay and be perfected. Having a way to connect with someone while they’re in the headset is the thing that takes this from weird nerdy cyclops cyberpunk toy to something that as it gets slimmer ppl will actually be able to use in daily life and around ppl. You should look up pictures of eyesight next to headsets without it and you’ll understand the vision much better. Until we can have glasses with transparent displays we need it. A lot of ppl have said even though it’s cringe now, it’s much better to have than not.
Is 2.0 a software update? So then people should avoid the very strong urge to return the AVP during the 14-day evaluation period?
If 2.0 is new hardware, then pity the people who dropped 4000+ doll hairs for the first-gen headset.
I think the passed gaming VR headset terrible marketing kinda affect Vision Pro perception since there are still countless of people who had never tried one keep spreading "gimmick" all over the place.
Vision Pro is to Apple as Opti-Grab is to Navin Johnson. Give it time…
Vision Pro 是關於在 3D 空間中做 2D 事情。不要問我怎麼知道我買了它。
I’m happy with my Vision Pro and hesitated only slightly with the price. I do wxpext the price to rise for higher end versions as it did for the iPhone. But I imagine people will be happier to buy at the higher prices in a few years ($4 to $6K) simply because the features will be so much more expanded out by then.
There is no timeline from apple. Come on man
Bc nobody wants to wear a bulky ass product 😭😭😭 they need to find a way to slim it down significantly. Like waaaaay down. Google glasses had a nice idea but I’m thinking no glasses and just a chip by your ear or something
Leaked? How about adding some sources to back those claims?
Nahhh... They don't got any
See it for what it is. When it's on you're in a different type of reality.
Soon you will be able to share with others in this new reality. This
product is on the threshold of a new standard where Monitors and
TVs will no longer be needed along with keyboards etc. Bring your
whole work desk home. Be patient . Its as bad now is it will ever be.
dude with the hair is clueless "make it cheaper, make it crappier"
If they call this a spatial computing device, then it should be my computer, not just my computer monitor. I shouldn’t have to bring my MacBook along, just the Vision Pro.
I dont know anyone other than UA-camrs who can’t afford it returning it
5:05 And this is the effect that a wearable headset will inevitably create when it is worn for prolonged period of time. 5:05 Whenever I wear any type of work goggles to trim the grass or to cut mental for welding I'll be sweating a lot. 5:05 So it's only obvious that wearing this type of headset will invariably make you sweat. 6:36 The fake eyes do look gimmicky, the fake eyes is not necessary to have on the headset. 0:25 The plan to create multi-player of personas do sound interesting 🤔. 0:25 I wonder how the quality would be but Apple will figure it out.
Why do guys all talk with the mic resting on your lips ??? lol You can give it some space you know
It’s pronounced “Catan”.
Them: You cannot see the wearer’s eyes when they watch Disney plus so it makes it a very isolating experience.
Also them: They should just remove the eyes feature to make it cheaper.
Me: ??
apples profit margins are too high, its not that they need to lower the quality to make it cheaper, they just need to cut their margins. Apple wants to make 4000% on everything.
Google glass was 11 years ago, not 5 or 6!! 😂 you guys are aging yourselves
Apple vision pro doesnt work great or at all on an airplane when the light gets turned off and u would be the guy who turns the lights on for everyone in ur area so that u can use it
Apple never said that it would work great on a plane or incomplete darkness. that’s people trying to use it for something that was never intended for at this time. It does work on a plane. If you set it up before the plane starts to move, which is what the prompt tells you when you go into travel mode. And you can use the Magic Keyboard and magic mouse with it in the dark, and I have done so I also have used it in my bedroom with a lit nightstand light with some issues, but it was still usable. People don’t want to keep making negative comments about something they’ve never used you don’t want don’t get one. But stop bashing the product because of the price because it is an excellent product. It’s worth every bit of the $3700 I spent for mine and $3700. I spent to buy my girlfriend one and I have no intentions on taking my back at all.
@@mmoore4249 Let the "battle" of the competition begin so that every manufacturer improves their products faster and its a win win for the consumers, like that the Quest 3 works in darkness, has already share play, is great in VR games and fitness apps for a fraction of the price.

I feel like most of the people that are reviewing or commenting on the Vision Pro have never had much experience with VR headsets before.
Yet they have Quest 2/3 in tgeir video. Please stop this nonsense. VR/AR still got a long way to show its capable. Apple showed other side of its potential like the UI and is still something that they do that others don't
Anybody remembers total recall 😂
They will not make a significantly cheaper version ever. This is just hoping. The tech is expensive as F. They didn’t make the iPhone cheaper, nor the iPad, not the Mac, not the Apple Watch, not the wireless headphones.
This will not happen.
They literally made cheaper versions of all those things.
Everything needs to be a yearly release with Apple.
So now everyone is going to have a ton of refunds
Kind of. Kind of. Kind of.
Please get your facts right before touting statements in a video the wide public who doesn’t follow other AVP reviewers for correct knowledge, Apple made a statement that they only have a slightly above normal rate of returns now that the 2 week return without fee timelines arrived. To state that there is an unusually high return rate is just FUD! 😂
I don't know why people keep thinking they are going to have a second Gen AVP in 2025,it's going to be at least 3 years before they come out with a second Gen. All the stuff you guys are talking about, they can add in the current AVP with future updated.
Exactly!! Well said. You have done your research
VR headsets making people puke isn't new. My wife has Quest2 and she puked a few weeks back after 3 hours. So yeah, VR causes nausea and in some cases puking. Just go ask Quest2 and 3 owners if it makes you sick or gives you a headache.
There's a super High Return rate because content creators large and small are buying it to make content for 15 days then closing out with a "Why I returned the Apple Vision Pro" video.
The Bright side is maybe Apple will put the refurbs online at a lower price 🤷🏾♂.
It doesnt even have a super high return rate lol

TOTALLY disagree about the "Eyesight" feature. I think it's great, it's supposed to already be improved in v1.1, and it's only going to get better from there. When I first got my VP after setting up my "Persona", my girlfriend came up to me and said, "Wow, I can see your eyes ! That's SO cool !". Just as intended, she can tell when I can see her and when I can't see her. If you don't like it just turn it off in settings. Quit encouraging Apple to ruin it for the rest of us.
I agree the Eyesight is solving a critical social issue using a VR headset, only if it's as lame as it is currently, would you still want to include it in the next version?
@@dtrjones Well, I don't agree that it's lame in the first place. It needs to be improved but I think it's actually pretty cool as it is. So yes, if they didn't improve it at all I'd still rather have this than nothing. Remember, this is all about VIRTUAL reality, not reality. It's appropriate that the eyes look like they're IN virtual reality rather than actually looking real. Reviewers seem to be missing the whole point of what's going on here. Like the reviewers who complain their "Persona" images don't look real or that it messes up their hair. Complaining that "Eyesight" is "lame" is like that too me. What did they THINK it was going to be ? It's like they're disappointed a car they're reviewing isn't a boat.
If you want connections, go to church
Tech vlogs = Apple shills.
Let’s face it, people are returning it because they bought it to try but couldn’t really afford it…
The PSVR2 is lighter than Quest which is lighter than the Apple Vision Pro.
If you don't need wireless, the most comfortable VR headset I've used is the PSVR2 because it rests on your forehead instead of face, and it is lighter. It just doesn't provide anything other than gaming experiences which is fine for me.
how about they stopped releasing incomplete products to keep intentionally releasing common sense updates and just release a product the correct way, completed.
Quest 3 for the win
What's crazy about these types of reviews is this..... It's the typical thing when Apple release a device, then Apple is suppose to do things that reviews don'thold other product to...
Can we please stop the insanity!
1. People say they feel alone in Vision Pro, and being at home with a device on their faces makes them feel alone! lol. This is such crazy statement!! lol We have many VR headsets on the Market... How many families are buying multiple VR headsets and playing with them together? lol...... Guys are going into a room and playing these things BY THEMSELVES!!! And they DONT let their kids touch them! lol... They stay alone in a room for HOURS!!!!!! lol
2. Alone Part 2: Do the Playstation 5, PSVR Owners feel alone! lol!!! They are escaping the reality of their families!!! lol
3. You talk about people are Returning Vision Pro.... Yes they are... Three Groups of People.... Group #1: Reviewers Who just needed to do a review and couldn't really afford to really keep and learn the Device, Group #2: The interesting people who thought Vision Pro was primarily a Gaming Device, and they also couldn't really afford the device... They just had enough Money on a credit card to rent it for a couple weeks. lol Group #3: Just people who had no clue about anything, with a credit card with money on it....
4. Back to feeling alone: People spend Thousands dollar build a gaming computer a they play in a room at home all by themselves.... and they LOCK THE DOOR when they leave so family can't touch it. They go into deep debt to keep upgrading a computer to isolate themselves at home!!! lol...... Oh... but I guess they don't feel along when they play Fortnight and Roblox....lol. Well, go play Fortnight in Vision Pro and feel more connected!!!
Please stop the crazy reviews! lol
You don’t like it and have nothing good to say.. Don’t buy it.Move on
Someone please stop that guy talking lol
Touch grass ffs, you can do ALL this IRL, open your door and walk over to a friends and play chess FFS. This is what's wrong with society...
Still don't know who is this for
